Dealing with this betrayal, Elizabeth realizes that Brady may not be the one she needs after all and decides to focus on what or who she really wants, while Brady tries desperately to make up for the damage he has caused. Will Elizabeth and Brady be able to face their challenges and finally find their happily ever after. or will the desires of a selfish friend ruin their future together forever? If you are a fan of small-town romance, and love triangles, with a best-friend betrayal, but still want a happy ever after ending, Forever Enough will not disappoint. This is book 2 in a series-- Book 1 needs to be read first to fully appreciate this book.
You're supposed to read the previous book first: More Than Enough: Small Town Unexpected Pregnancy Romance, but I didn't. The two books are about the same couple. I got the gist of what occured in book 1. It worked for me...it might not for others.
Perhaps I'm being a bit generous with the rating but for me, this book hit the spot. It wasn't perfect (I didn't come with high expectations either) but I got enough of the angsty feels, the drama was more than satisfying, and the conclusion—passable. Really, I couldn't put it down. I came for the OW drama and cheating theme. Not sorry.
The few things I wasn't satisfied with... How the cheating scene was off-page, no description or details or what the MMC's thought process was in that moment. Also, his excuse was pretty lame: basically, that he was stupid. Duh, but that didn't fly with me; I needed more explanations. I won't go much into that whole situation with the OW only that she was the FMC's ex roommate. All three of them had a history together. I actually plan to re-read this soon and I might add more about their dynamic in my review then.
I felt his regret and remorse. I'd say the grovel was decent but I was left wanting more and maybe that's because of the lack of explanations I mentioned above. I need full disclosure and transparency in order to decide if a character deserves a second chance or not. She gave in too soon for my liking when he should have worked harder and longer to earn her trust again (or mine). I was surprised she didn't ask him more questions because I still had many!

Thank you, Cindy, for bringing this book to my attention. Any time I see any of your updates on Goodreads, I know it's worth a looky.
I didn’t realize until after I finished that there was a previous book (More Than Enough). I know I missed out on some of their backstory, but I never felt lost, and honestly, I’m glad I skipped it because I suspect it was very YA/NA.
I did read a few spoiler-y reviews after the fact, so if you want to skip it or need a refresher, here are the cliff notes. (of book 1)
Elizabeth and Brady had a FWB relationship. It sounds like they both had feelings (Brady loved her), but Elizabeth pushed for a break. They both slept around a fair amount including each other’s friends. During the first book Elizabeth was interested in Jacob when she found out she was pregnant with Brady’s kid. I guess conveniently the two had decided to be exclusive for a month when she got pregnant. After some back and forth, (and being rejected by J) she decided to make a go with Brady and just be friends with Jacob.
We learn in the prologue that Brady “dated” Elizabeth’s friend Trina the summer before she told him she was pregnant. (I’m not sure if that was disclosed in book 1 or not) This book picks up after the birth of their son Grant with the couple engaged when Trina rides into town on her broomstick causing all kinds of issues.
At first, I was sort of love/hating this because I was devouring all the OW drama while wanting to throat punch Brady and his lack of control while he’s deep breathing from jumping her. It also had an immature feel to it that I wasn’t digging. Then the betrayal happened, and it was a big one. YUM I LOVED that Elizabeth didn’t immediately forgive him.
Bottom Line- It wasn’t perfect, the characters started out quite immature (like constantly screaming while their baby was sleeping in his playpen), and after Brady’s actions I really didn’t think the author could pull off a believable reconciliation. And it probably won’t be enough for some readers BUT I thought she did a great job of showing growth for the couple and their relationship. We’ll all look at it differently, but to me this reminded me of old school Teen Mom. They were young making dumb choices and rushing things before they built anything solid. Brady said it best…
“You and I have never had a proper relationship. At college we were together when it was convenient for one of us, for four years, but only spent a little more than one month exclusive. Now, because of Grant, we have just sort of been thrown back into something.”
Fortunately, they realized it and made changes. Unfortunately, this part was breezed through in the last chapter.
2 ⭐⭐ - Meh! ============ Unforgiven. While she was in the hospital after a car accident, he was having sex with the other woman and didn't answer his cell phone because he was busy. She could have died and he wasn't even available. And his attraction to the other woman was uncontrollable.
I can’t believe I read this one. Well it looks like a 13 yo wrote it because honestly, it was ludicrous. The heroine and her room mate gf at college screwed the hero, and I suppose other guys too? Because they were all frat people and had sex with anyone, what is this, Woodstock and free love? I just can’t. So after graduation the hero and the heroine go separate ways and ow, the girl who shared boys with the heroine, goes to see the hero and spends the summer with him screwing. Romantic. After that, the hero is ready to tell her they were just having some fun and nothing serious. Some weeks later the heroine, who in the meantime was having a fling with another guy, finds out she’s pregnant and it’s the hero’s. So she calls him and after talking some, and after the hero screwed ow some more, they decide to get engaged. One year later ow is back and the hero has sex with her while the heroine is at the hospital after a car accident. Ok, what else is to say. Those two should have never be together as in , ever. They don’t make sense. The heroine is shallow, she kisses her e bf who’s now with a serious gf, that was foul. The hero, I have no words. He doesn’t deserve a mention. He’s a liar and a cheat, he will never be faithful. It was ow that in the end decided she had enough and she left, but every time she kissed the hero he was enjoying it so surely they would have had sex a lot in the future. The heroine talks a lot about loving oneself but she has no self love and no self esteem either she would have never gone back with that asshole cheater. Why go back with him? He will never be able to stay faithful. This seemed more like a wattpad written by a teenager because of the level of promiscuity and shallowness of the characters involved. The excuse is, the hero was still in college frat boy mode. Really? All college students are like him now? Unable to date seriously a girl? Unable to stay faithful even if they are in love? Are you kidding me? So, zero fuggin stars here for me.
I really really don't know why authors try to justify cheating and to give a happy ending to such a stupid story ... I m really sorry but I would love to read a book where the female lead have some dignity and self respect ..and to not give the cheating assholes another chance all in the the name of holy love ..because it is not love if the other person is making choices again and again to hurt you because yes cheating is a choice ..
juvenile evryone slept w/evryone? the plot is too fast. the relationship is too shallow. the betrayer was too deep to be solve/healed in a short time (like 2 months time? really?) the love between the 2 MC is not convinced. this book 2 can be read as a stand alone, but it is a continuation from book 1 where they also tell the story between these 2 MC. the h is pregnant by her on-off again/fling/friend w benefit/boyfriend for 1 month? (they called it an exclusive relationship) she then got pregnant, but bfore she and he knew it, they broke up bcoz the h was attracted to other Boi (as i said, juvenile. like a hi school drama i like you- i like him too- i kiss him- i kiss them too) while they broke up, she w/other guy for a while, and he with other girl all summer and the girl is the h jelous roomate who has her eyes on the H all along. H then knew h pregnant, broke off w/the jelous girl roomate. book 2 start w/ H and h living together, having a son and H proposed to her. they are engage. the jelous roomate shown up again and flirt/seducing the H, whic ofc the H felt all his body hardened. she kiss him, he kissed her back. then i thought it was just that kind of seducing, but nope! he slept w/the crazy roomate longtime fling (oh, he still engage w/the h) the night he slept w/the crazy roomate fling is the noght where the h got accident. the h then comehome from the hospital without the H can be contacted. but he not telling her the truth. they hav s e x (gross. after being w/the roomate at the same day). the h then knw the H slept w/her roomate biatch but not bcoz of the H finally telling her, nope. it's bcoz the crazy roomate telling her. he then confessed and she move put of his home. but then cant move on, and get back together only after 1-2 months. yuck. and they got married the level of maturity of the H is like im reading a 17 y.o boi who dont think w/his brain. he have a son, a fiancee but he still act (at least his body) like a teenager whenever he felt the crazy roomate grinding her body to him. wht love? dear author, i though this was like an adult novel. but nopee! w/ that kind of level of betrayer, both the MC needs more time if you want to put them back together. it's not working if you give them 2 months. i mean.. come on! if i were in that position, the only relationship that i had w/that cheating fiancee is our son only. 1 star for the juvenile of the plot. i might accept this, if this was a story between the MC who still in their fresh year of college
So h & H never had a real relationship, more of a FWB situation. Bam, h gets pregnant and they get together. Prior to knowing h was pregnant, H has a relationship with h's bff from college where h knew H and bff would hook up when h was in FWB with H.
Anywho, H never came clean with h about his relationship with bff that happened after college and before he knew h was preggo. So of course h has invited bff over to their house. Now mind you, bff and H had NEVER stopped texting/calling each other which h did not know about. h had insecurities and jealousy over bff with H, but surely there would be no issues now that H has declared eternal love and devotion to h right?
Long story short - H and bff kissed in H & h's house a few times (and we hear from H how he is still turned on by bff), and on the day h is in a major car accident no one can find H...guesses anyone? Anyone? Oh that's right! Of course he was f-ing the bff and did not even get to the h until AFTER she had already been discharged from hospital. What a piece of dog doo.
BFF of course eventually spills all the beans to h, because of course H is a cheater and weak POS. BFF is gleeful about revealing all this to h.
There is grovel from H, but with what he did, when he did it and how he thought about it, I would have a hard time believing H would not fall for it again in the future.
All in all, entertaining read.
Cheating = oh yes, minor on page cheating described, the major cheat only referred to OWD = yes! Manipulative bff for the win Grovel = eh, it's there and good for fiction
*I did not read book 1, but I did not feel lost and a lot was recapped in this book.

This is the sequel to More Than Enough, and the story picks up a few months after the events of the first book.
The early part of the story was kind of slow, but it was still filled with sweet and happy moments from all the characters. Elizabeth was very happy with her new baby, she and Brady were in love and doing great, and things were also looking bright when it came to her career. The story then picks up when her best friend in college, Trina, enters the picture and tries to shake Elizabeth and Brady’s relationship. Drama ensued along with some unexpected and heartbreaking moments.
I’m glad that we got to see more of Brady in this book as he was mostly MIA in the first one. I was so happy to see how much he loved and cherished Elizabeth and their son, so just imagine how disappointed I was when he betrayed Elizabeth in the worst way. Unfortunately, Elizabeth also made some impulsive bad decisions due to her feeling extremely hurt by what Brady did. I think one of the main issues this couple has, other than that they did not have a real proper relationship, is that they both lack personal boundaries. Weak self-control is also their problem. Anyway, after all the hardships and pain, forgiveness was given in the end, with a promising life ahead for their family.
Overall, this was a good sequel, and I enjoyed reading it as much as the first one.
I read others reviews and decided to read it myself. Glad I did. I can see how Trina had her intwined in this relationship. Why it was allowed I have no idea. Sounds like some were not that invested in being with that person. Elizabeth breaks it off only to find out her and Brady are connected. But for a whole summer Brady is having a fling with Trina. Trina is after more than he thinks and sadly Brady is not as strong as he should be in his feelings for Elizabeth. He needs some growing up to do when he's tempted. Trina is bold and aggressive and Brady has no clue. He and Elizabeth's relationship is tested to the limit. This is a great story of a young group just out of college and tested with responsibility right away. And how a guy has to be strong and fight for his love in life.
Ok, I know a lot of people loved this book so maybe I read a different book. Evidently Elizabeth slept around a lot in college. She became pregnant. Brady was the baby's father. She finds out he cheated on her with a friend from college. She kissed the guy next door. Brady apologized for what happened. Why is everyone so down on Brady? In what part of the book was Elizabeth an angel? Did I miss those chapters? I recall reading that she and Trina were in the same room with Brady and Trent and then swapping partners. This book made absolutely no sense to me. I don't think I will read anymore of this authors books.
3.5 stars It was a decent read with off page cheating I guess the main thing is when H&h reconcile you ask don’t believe the HEA Yeah I guess the H had growing up to do, and I think it’s a case of you don’t know what you’ve got til’ it’s gone.
Riveting book that kept me entertained. Story of two young individuals navigating life. It truly sheds light on the fact that people make mistakes and can be redeemed; a quality in which we all as humans could come to the realization of, please pick this book up and give it a read!
YES!!!! The author did it again - What an excellent book that follows More Than Enough. I experienced so may emotions reading this book! Happiness, sad, joy, frustration, laughter and sorrow. Must read after More Than Enough.
Surprisingly what irritated me the most was how the author glossed over Jacob cheating on Kirsten with liz. Like, didn’t they just prove what she had feared all along but all of a sudden she’s understanding and no longer bitchy when she finally has a reason to be?!
Life for Elizabeth and Brady has changed in so many ways since becoming parents. But can Brady leave the past in the past or will it become issues in the presence for him and Elizabeth. Will they make it through? Fine out in Forever Enough.
Hmm…I wanted more grovel. The author introduces the MCs dating as a new beginning at the end, but she doesn’t show it. Showing that would have made this four stars.

I did not read the first book. I did not like Brady. He did not seem to be sorry for what he did until Elizabeth found out.
Brady and Elizabeth dated in college. Trina, Elizabeth's college roomate invites Brady to come down to her place in Florida after college. They start a sexual relationship. Elizabeth reaches out to Brady and tells him she is pregnant. They try to start getting together. After the baby is born, he proposes to Elizabeth, but has still be in contact with Trina and he did not tell Elizabeth about it. Trina has come back in to town. One night Elizabeth is in a car accident and no one can find Brady and he does not answer the phone. Find out that he was with Trina and has been having contact with her. Trina starts telling Elizabeth about her and Brady being together the summer before that he didn't tell her about. Once she finds out they have continued to be together she separates from him. Brady realizes he messed up, but still not repentant enough.
The book does talk about the immaturity of both main characters and how they did not have a chance to date and really connect.
