UmiCar is all revved up for the big Umi City Race! Boys and girls ages 3-7 who love cars and Nickelodeon's Team Umizoomi can ride along in this full-color storybook
Unicast is a sweetheart character that kids can relate to. The story covers a race he enters. He is faced with obstacles he must overcome. Some of the action reminds me of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, with each character basically carrying tools that allow him or her to solve a logical or physical problem.
The book is a bit short, but ironically the sentences feel long for the age group. Also the formatting is not friendly, text is small and there is no way to zoom in on the pages. It presents itself landscape, presumably because the illustrations tend to encompass both facing pages. Illustrations are cute and meaningful. There are good lessons for the kids here.
This is such a cute story. Kids ages 3-7 will Love This book for different reasons. The smallest ones will learn more about shapes and patterns. A little older will be able to pick out some words they know, older kids will be able to read the book with you. The colorful pages and brightness will hold their attention. Umicar wants to race in the Umi City Car Race. Millie, Geo and Bot will be riding along. They will need all their powers to fix what the Dump truck does. I borrowed this book from the Prime Library.
This book is about a race. It gets really exciting really fast. Even though the dump truck was cheating, UmiCar still won! The good part is that UmiCar shared the prize with everyone, even the dump truck! The dump truck even apologized for being mean! This book deserves a 10-star rating!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I don't know these characters, so the sorry was not engaging. It was a Kindle Prime free read. There were two points in the story where children would have to use patterning to solve a problem. This book was just okay.
A really bright fun read for children. Not so much the story, the illustrations really stood out for me. I also loved the potential interaction of the storyline with readers partnered with problem solving tasks.
My daughter loves Umi Zumi. She watches it everyday. Multiple times if we’d let her. I saw this book and was super excited to she if she liked that book also! She did, it was a big hit! I had to read it more than a few times!
Great story, great lesson....and perfect for reading right before nap time or bedtime because not too lengthy!! Grandson satisfied and yawning. Loved how each flip of page on kindle enlarged the letters for easier reading for grandparents!
I love that good sportsmanship and honesty and kindness-even to enemies, is taught in this story. It also reviews some basic math concepts and is fun and entertaining and engaging for young children with bright, vibrant illustrations. God bless you !
My 5 year old is a big fan of team umizoomi cartoon so having books available is great. He really likes the characters and enjoyed the interaction from the book. Recommend it!
My little guys ages 1, 4, and 8 couldnt get enough. Totally awesome to sit and read at bed time to get the imagination going right before bed. This story is right up their alley.
Umicar’s Big Race has colorful pictures and a good message about being kind to others. I enjoyed this story and the teaching moments that were included within the book.
Characters are nicely set, story is a little bit dry. For example the ending was a little confusing why dump track was never treated nice before... Overall not bad.
