A fun book about scrap quilts and the many ideas you can use to create many types of quilts for yourself. Filled with ideas for colors, design boards, excellent quilting techniques, and short cuts, this book offers many ideas to a quilter or to someone who would like to learn the craft. If you complete all the rows, you end up with a charming row quilt. Or, you can choose templates and use them for wall hangings, table runners, appliques, or small table top quilts. The ideas are endless.

I started sewing again this year and really enjoy quilting. Lori Holt books are easy follow, and the user can use the block patterns to make the quilt their own.

I haven't yet made my first quilt from this book, but all in good time. I look for several elements in a good quilting manual: inviting and attractive designs (and good photos of the intended results), clear and logical instructions, and motivating projects. This how-to manual contains them all. Now, to just start on a project...
