The story tells the War of the Roses from multiple points of view, some 1st, some 3rd, showing the conflict from the very beginning to almost the end, abruptly stopping before the whole Richard III drama, but still covering quite a lot of ground in less than 200 pages.

There was a lot of emphasis on what sign everyone was born under, which added an interesting layer to everyone's character, and was kind of hilarious.
