A bit all over the place.

But it really takes the story in a new direction. I hope the author starts putting in a "the story so far" section of the books are coming out any descent length apart. It's getting complex.

Losing focus.

Once again, this book is filled with good and bad. We have chapters filled with philosophical discussions about the nature of control and governance. With many philosophical rants about war and the nature of people. Unfortunately, the author seems to start off in One Direction and then forget about it and moving another direction. For example, in previous books, he talks about flying beetles and the research done on it and how they would be so helpful but then they disappear. Then there was the confusing nature about the litRPG mechanics. First it seems titles do nothing. But they’re given out all the time. Second the main character gains levels for doing one thing but when he does the same thing again, he doesn’t gain any. (Like in this book helping to organize the attack on the demon king he gains two levels. The second time he does it. He gains nothing.)

I found myself wanting to skip ahead so many times in this book it just drag on and on. Don’t get me wrong. The story is actually quite good. It’s just the author has stretched it out so much that I find myself wanting to knot off at many parts in the story.

One last note, the author needs to get an editor, there are many incorrectly spelled words. Plus, there are places where the wrong word is used. I see this when he’s using the name for a world and refers to the wrong world. (For example, Mountainworld does not have the three kingdoms in it.)

This was another good addition to the series. I especially enjoyed the expansion to the other worlds and strengthening the position in already visited worlds. Aeon and his team have truly become a multiverse power, able to take the fight to demon world and even purge them. At the same time, the danger is escalating as well, so they need to find new ways to level up, research into more options, etc. All of this makes it an enjoyable read.

I found the vassal wars subplot boring - so many other things were interesting and could've been explored further. There were only a few typos, but the presence of the word 'nknot' 6 times in the book was baffling to say the least.

Breakdown

Gets to about 30% through and the editing falls out the window. The word “nknot” appears 6 times and appears to be a placeholder word when the author had no clue what to write and then never bothered to fix. Paragraph breaks disappear so subjects just change randomly and the whole story waffles about pointlessly. This is just getting boring and the entire tone of the book is flat like it’s being read in a monotone. Even the action parts few though they are feel like everyone is bored and uninvolved. Very wooden.

Too many typos

Definitely a fan of the series... but there are seriously too many typos, spelling and grammar errors in this book.

At several points, the same 5 letter gibberish typo is put in the middle of a sentence, which makes it impossible to understand what was happening in the scene. A lot of other issues besides that, but that one stood out since it happened multiple times. Added to the general spelling issues it made it very difficult if not impossible to understand large parts of the story.

It's a shame because the plot is really good.

This was chunky, and I didn't really enjoy it much. Yes the story is moving along, but I don't know the direction, and where we are so far I don't care to continue.

I might continue the series, I don't know, but this Galaxy Demon Police thing isn't for me.

Maybe it's too many people? Too many moving parts?
Just didn't enjoy this.

Typos are always present with this publisher, but the number in this series keeps increasing with each book. At least two sentences in this book are almost unintelligible because of them. Why is “nknot” everywhere?

fun

A good continuation. Aeon grows and expands to more worlds. The fight starts to head for the source and the mystery of demons and gods gets explored further.
The pace continues nice and steady. The story develops. Definitely not a standalone. Please enjoy

I love this series and have been reading it for sometime. I like the whole premise of being reincarnated as a tree and essentially taking over because you still have enough sentience to plan like that. This book wasn’t as enjoyable to me as others because it felt more repetitive but the overall story I found interesting. It continues to build on the idea that they are trying to prevent invasions from the demon kings and they have been somewhat successful as of this book.

Overall I recommend this series but be prepared but some of the books can feel long. There are more slice of life periods than I’ve seen in other books but those are not boring it is periods of time where they are training and building their empire.

Lots of dithering.

Lots of navel gazing.
