This daily reading Bible is the story of how God reached into the world, in the order the events happened. It is in chronological order to emphasize the continuous narrative of the Bible. Each day you get a little more from the Scriptures and it only takes about 15 minutes. The interior art and square shape were designed to appeal to a younger audience. Front matter and daily verse callouts help guide you through the readings.
Books can be attributed to "Anonymous" for several reasons:

I loved the chronological arrangement of this Bible. It was very informative to know where the Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon and the Prophets fit into the narrative story of the Old Testament. Also in the New Testament, it was good to read the Gospels all together in chronological order. The letters of Paul were of course, interspersed with the book of Acts. This was my first time reading the Bible in chronological order and I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend everyone reading this format at least once. The only reason that I rated this down one star is because I just don't care for the New Living Translation. Sometimes it seemed that the intent of the verses was lost in order to make the language simpler. I read this as a read through the Bible in a year program and finished two weeks early! First time that has ever happened!!!
Really enjoying this chronological Bible - arranged in daily readings. The NLT text is very readable and engaging, and I love that it does include textual footnotes. And the chronological arrangement with daily readings means it is easy to know what to read and to keep on track, plus intriguing in knowing bits from 1 Chronicles or the Psalms will intersperse with the normal reading of the OT. Going from Genesis to Job then to Exodus makes for a nice change of pace as well.
