This is a simple counting book that features some of the most famous sights of Washington D.C. It would be a good souvenir of a family trip or a good way to introduce the city to a young child. The narrative is very short and the illustrations are cartoonish and colorful. It's not particularly soothing, but ends with children sleeping, so it would be appropriate to read at bedtime.
