Rate this book
"The happiest, sweetest, and liveliest little book imaginable."—John Canaday. Near the end of the fifteenth century, a Flemish artist known only as The Master of Mary of Burgundy painted one of the last illuminated manuscripts for Engelbert of Nassau, a member of the courts of rulers of the Netherlands from Charles the Bold to Philip the Fair. This edition reproduces this magnificent book, now in the Bodlein Library, Oxford, as closely as possible to the original.

I love the size shape and feel of this little book. The illustrations are beautiful and a great look at historical spritiual books. I enjoyed learning about the illustrations and the history of the book. My only dissappointment was that the plates were not translated into english. If you come across this book I recomend getting it, definitely worth having for the illustrations.
