Demons. They’re relentless little fuckers that chase you no matter where you go.
There’s only one escape I’ve ever found and it was at the end of a blunt.
Then there was her. Camilla Taylor. Cammi.
The moment I touched her, my mind went blank. The monsters were… just gone. But good things aren’t for me.
And Cammi? She’s the very essence of good. Which is why I can’t keep touching her. Because if I do, it’s only a matter of time before I drag her down with me. Into that darkness that consumes my soul.
Cammi
Every girl thinks they can tame the bad boy, right? They’re wrong. Bad boys can’t be tamed. And they really shouldn’t be. Because that’s part of their allure in the first place.
Vin De Bellis is the definition of a broken heart waiting to happen. But when he touches me, my entire body lights up. The darkness that’s usually behind his eyes vanishes and a lightness shines through.
It’s the return of that darkness that scares me. Like I said, some people can’t be saved. Especially when the nightmares are so ingrained the demons run through their veins, waiting for their chance to cause havoc.
And Vin’s demons might just be the very things that shatter my heart.

I’m not sure if this author has never met a high schooler or just doesn’t remember being one, but this is not how highschoolers behave. Coming from someone who currently has seven cousins in high school right now….i can guarantee they are NOT “familiar with one night stands” and are not actively tying women up 😭 idk why, if the author wanted an h who was sexually experienced enough to have not just one but multiple one night stands and an H whose trauma makes him tie women up, she made them SEVENTEEN 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 like this is not seventeen year old behavior. I mean make them college age at least if that’s the traits you want them to have lol
Also their first time together was completely off page. One minute they’re in his car, then next chapter it’s the next morning and apparently they’re lying naked together 😂 it was very odd and I have no idea why the author made that choice. And then, they become a couple basically immediately, which I don’t mind but when we’re almost at 40% and all their actual sex scenes were off page, I was annoyed
The heroine in here make me cringe many times i lost count. Even in the beginning she is so boring and so predictable. She is such a doormat heroine 🥲 NO DIGNITY AS A WOMAN LIKE I’M NOT EVEN A SUPREME FEMINIST BUT THIS HEROINE HERE IS SOOOO SUPER DOORMAT!!! I get the hero have some issues with being intimate with anyone even his family because of his tragic past. I get that. But for the heroine to always wants to kiss first and even always so super clingy like that to him more than him, IT MAKES ME CRINGE MANY TIMES. I lost count how many times my eyes just wish I don’t read some parts of the books with the heroine being like that because it made me so annoyed with her 😆😆
I love when a heroine is independent and not clingy sh*t like that.
I love that the hero is super possessive protective to her… But the heroine being like that just made me eeew 💀
Happy ending.
⚡️⚡️⚡️THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING MY REVIEW. Even if you hate my review i still say thank you so much cause you spend your time reading this one👻 I’m not a professional reviewer or professional reader. I’m just someone who likes to read novels that is safe and no cheating whatsoever. And many more that i like lol😆 I DID NOT GET PAID TO DO THIS. This is just basically me writing my review based on my personal opinion about the book if it’s safe or what I will write it all down just the way i like it 😏 I know my review can be very straightforward with the way i write it down all of it and not a professional writing because again I’m not professional reviewer anyway. And whatever negativity you might think of what i write or what my thoughts are on my review about a book, me and you are not the same person. I have my own types of book and you have your own. You have your own thoughts and same with me. You can’t control what I should write on my review and neither should I. I WILL NOT TOLERATE NEGATIVE COMMENT AND I WON’T EVER REPLIED TO IT. If you still don’t like what i write and my disclaimer here, IT’S A YOU PROBLEM. NOT MINE😙 HAVE A GREAT DAY❤️❤️❤️
Types of book that I’m looking for: SAFE, safe all the way from the beginning till the end🥵 No cheating, no unnecessary childish drama. Not too much OW DRAMA cause they are loud and annoying lol. NO to still having feelings about a ex especially wants go get back together tf no. NO to friends with benefits and still seeing other people type of sh*t. NO to hero or heroine who said i love you and have been obsessed but still likes to fvck around yeah big NO to that sh*t. NOOO to still married or still in a relationship with someone else while liking the main character, yeah they have to be single since the beginning. NOOO to a long separation and have someone else they have s3x with during the separation. NOO to too many times of separation and breaking up sh*t. NOO to toxic narcissistic characters. I preferred the characters are loyal to the core, over the top possessive heroes since the beginning and never stops, main characters have unique jobs or talents, the hero adores and obsessed with the heroine so much, the hero fell harder for the heroine and don’t want let her go and fight for her. And most importantly EPILOGUE AND ESPECIALLY THE DECADES LATER SCENE…. HAPPY ENDING IS A MUST. Chemistry is a must too 🙏🏼
this book took me just over two hours to read, I could not put it down. The way this book handles trauma from a mmc perspective and doesn’t go straight to the fmc being the character with problems eats. Kylie ate and served cunt with this. The plot is constantly developing, there are nods to characters from previous books in the same universe, and the world building & character building is impeccable. Cammi is head over heels and Vin is obsessed with her. They’re connected from their souls to a cellular level- I know that feeling of having somebody that you could depend on and that you are always grateful for their existence- that’s the basis of their entire relationship knowing from the get go that they were each other’s person in a platonic level as well as a romantic level. they got married in the end too, which was really sweet however I feel like the epilogue was rushed, I wanted to know more about the wedding address. I just needed the world building of the epilogue to match the rest of the book. Honestly a piss easy read with a rather delish plot not shy of real trauma and the responses- a few major trigger warnings including s/a (trauma is helped to heal in this novel).
I hated this story. I’m 33 and not wanting to read about a 17 year old boy in high school and the drama with his 17 year old girlfriend. I loved the two other books because they’re more mature. I understand the aspect of vin’s story but I’m not into highschool aged books.
Another absolute cracker from Kylie. Kylie is by far my favourite author. She managed to tell Vin and cammi’s story absolutely beautifully, the way she portrayed each character and each situation they find themselves in is just unbelievable. I have loved every minute of this books and can’t wait to see what’s next! Bravo
This is one of the saddest books I've read in a while. I wasn't sure I'd be able to finish it. Kylie Kent did an amazing job writing Vin's story. I'm so glad he got his HEA.
As much as I wanted to love Vin and Cammi, they didn't have the same magic for me as the other books in the series. Yes, Vin and Cammi's story had parts that were emotional and gut wrenching. Still, there were some aspects where I just needed more. One of my favorite parts to read for a couple is the first time they are intimate. In this book, that first time is glossed over and I literally had to flip back and forth to make sure I didn't miss anything. IMO this book, of the 4 so far, is not as spicy as the others. I also needed more than the big "bad" of this book to be Cammi's heart condition and the one moment where Vin chocked her. I get that he wanted to protect her but he made a unilateral decision. After the third act breakup, the chemistry gets a little lost for me. Also, I wanted to see more of Vin taking down the men that abused him. I didn't want his brothers to swoop in and take care of it for him.
All that being said, I loved the cameos of all the De Bellis brothers and their wives, and of course, Luciano. I loved how Cammi managed to bond with each of them in her own way - especially Santo. I wanted Cammi to make Vin grovel more and not give in so quickly, but that's me all the time...lol.
Kudos to Kylie for tackling a story line that had such a sensitive and difficult subject. The flashback w had were heart breaking and my heart ached for Vin and all that he endured. The truth coming out to his brothers were handled so well! Probably some of my favorite moments in the book.
As much as I love this couple and how strong their love for one another is. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAPPENS in this entire book. Characters stay the same monotone and one dimensional from beg to end.
Nothing was solved or somewhat cured/overcame. The problems are the same as ever. It felt completely like a waste. Nothing new revealed and progress was nonexistent. It made this book feel extremely pointless. I learned nothing and I'm just trying to figure out what exactly was the plot(there wasn't one, not even a subplot) because it ends up with Vin getting worse...
Question: How could Vin have been everywhere watching Zoe or taking care of Daisy or whatnot while stalking or constantly checking on Cammi or being like glued to her 24/7?? Make it make sense. maybe we do need a timeline but I still think it wouldn't work anyway.
2nd: I thought this book, we could finally get into some healing for poor Vin, but nada!!! like SERIOUSLY???? He is clearly damaged and full of trauma, yet it ends the same way. He says he will push to get better but that doesnt work considering the entire book no push for progress or overcoming his demons in his mind was ever made. Plus there was a time skip and still the same as ever.
At least have one of his issues solved. Like maybe overcoming his nightmares if he doesnt want to talk to anyone about overcoming his past or not needed permission every time he wants to touch her on anyway!! BUT NOOO HIS NIGHTMARES ACTUALLY GETS WORSE as the book ends...>< I was actually hoping and waiting to see if we would finally see him officially talk to Daisy for help because he would visit her once a month(a week/a month i think)!!! and for a split second I got so happy before it smashed my reader mind as he is still closed off from her. What utter bullshit... He has so many people that love him and will be willing to help yet in this long span of time he never improved!1 not even 2% I mean, I would've been fine with just a 2%...Him opening up and letting daisy be like his counselor or something.
I mean honestly Daisy and Zoe were the perfect sisters for him to go to and talk tooo!! They went through similar situation...Even Daisy went to a therapist so she would know or figure out how to help him. At least freakin try!! Make it make sense!!!!!!
The men who did those things to him apparently were thankfully killed by his brothers, yet he felt no closure or nothing about that...ummm real life doesnt work like that. He should feel something about that but his feeling were never shown and none of those scenes were given to us. It seems his brothers took care of it while he did nothing!! honestly what was this book??? The author should've spent more time with finding these men and seeing them killed for Vin. or him killing it and finally getting revenge. I don't know at this point! The realism is just not in her books, not even a little bit where we can connect with these characters and understand them.
You know, it seems this author, just glazing over things that are important and that can cause change and create touching impactful moments. I got bored and annoyed at the 50% as they got together quickly (which is not an issue at all) yet the plot and character developments never changed. She writes long as books but lol where are the character progresses, the connections and growth of everyone's relationships and the plot???
At least instead of having Cammi's heart problem, It would've been better for the character of Vin to gain strength to fight his demons and overcome the mannerisms and mental torture. To work hard to be better so he can be worthy of her or even for himself. That would've been an epic journey. THERE WOULD BE PURPOSE TO THIS STORY AND PROGRESS!!! It brings development and growth for him and for everyone connected to him.
This is really saddening as these are wonderful characters who tend to stay 1 dimension. It is especially pronounced how flat they are in this book.
P.S. Again the author gives this couple like all of them except Gabe and Daisy a proper ending/closure with bonus chapter about them!!!! Honestly How can any reader of this series not see how partial this author is to such a wonderful couple who actually had change within their characters in their story.
Santo seems to be mostly sane. Especially when it comes to his sisters in law. He shows great care and protectiveness for them which i fully love. Yet, he seems to go a bit mad at times which is weird since he does seem quite sane, not insane. So I dont know if its another flaw in this author or its a trick the character is doing in front of his brothers.
Moreover, I'm surprised all those sisters in laws never tried to help him. Instead of being their wonderful selves full of heart, they never spent time to talk to him to try and help him. Well, lets see now that its finally the last book with Santo. I hope its good but no longer holding my breath with this author. I just really want to complete this series quickly.
Every now and then Kylie Kent likes to really make us hurt and A Sinner's Saint is one of those moments.
Vin De Bellis brought tears to my eyes and made my heart hurt. He finally had his happiness in his hands and then he pushed it away breaking both of them. Honestly, I a little pissed that his brothers let him torture himself like that and did little to step up and help him or Cammie.
Cammie was a sweetheart and the perfect woman for Vin's broken soul. She gave him peace and understood him without him really having to explain anything and despite it all, she never gave up on him or hated on him.
These two were perfect and despite Vin's story being very truamtic and tragic I loved it!
There is one De Bellis to go and Santo might have been the catalyst for Gio stepping up to the lead but his story was another tragedy that he's yet to really recover from. Each book he has made very small progress but I think Kylie's setting us up for a big finish for the series.
I can't wait. . . . The nightmares never leave Vin and the only way he can keep the demons from eating him alive is to get high. He only has two close friends and his brothers, but none of them know the truth. Vin couldn't tell them then and now he doesn't want to burden them with his past. Gio is finally happy, Gabe and Marcello both seem to have met someone also and Santo is still so broken that he couldn't bear to make things worse. His only shining light is Camile Taylor. He's always watching but getting close to her would only ruin her so watching from afar is all he allows himself.
Cammi has noticed Vin watches her, she tries to pretend he doesn't but she can feel his eyes on her at times. She's not sure what to make of him as he never speaks to her or touches her, just watches. All that changes when she's panicking over a test and his deep voice tries to reassure her. They both end up in trouble for the interaction but it's when they leave together that Cammi's world shifts. "Why do you watch me all the time?" "You're like a bright light. I can't help but notice you."
He shouldn't have spoken to her, he should have kept his distance as he always has. She says she knows he watches her, but she really has no idea just how long Vin has been watching her from the shadows. Now he's had her attention and her time he doesn't want to let it go, but he knows he should. Keeping Cammi would be cruel to her because a sinner doesn't deserve a saint.
She has no idea what to make of Vin's sudden entrance and then withdrawal from her life. It doesn't last though because Vin can't have her, but no one else can either, and once he makes a claim in front of the whole school all bets are off. He thinks that he's too dark for her, but Cammi sees much more in Vin. "Let this be your only fucking warning. Camile Taylor is mine. If I so much as see any of you fuckers think about touching her, I will kill you.'
It only took one taste and Vin knew exactly what his brothers had found. Cammi was it for him and though he knows he can't keep her he will make the most of the time he has her before she realizes her mistake. 'There's something grounding about her touch. Something that calms my demons. It's different from getting high. Somehow, this girl's touch both numbs and sets something alive within me. Something I've never felt before.'
Each little piece that Vin reveals of his true self only makes Cammi love him more, but he's so hurt and convinced he will ruin her that she has to fight to hold on to the only man she can ever see herself loving. "You and me. It's a lot and it's fast. But I just... I don't know. I feel it, though, so deep. It's like you're in my blood. Your soul and mine are linked." "You don't want to be linked to my soul babe. It's not going anywhere good. And you? You're a saint. You belong up, not down." "I belong wherever you are, Vin. I don't care where that is."
When Vin's darkness is set free he knows that he can no longer hold on to her and forcing Cammi out of his life might just be the thing that destroys them both.
🔥 Vin and Cammi’s love story gutted me, horrified me, and left me utterly captivated! 💔 This isn’t just a dark mafia romance—it’s a soul-wrenching tale of survival, redemption, and love in its rawest, most broken form.
🌙 The Characters Vin De Bellis. OH MY HEART. 💔 The weight of what this man endured as a child crushed me. The evil inflicted upon him by those who should have protected him? Absolutely horrifying. 😭 Yet somehow, Vin has managed to survive—to keep breathing, to be a brother, and to try to be a friend. Watching him navigate life while battling those relentless demons was so engaging I couldn’t put the book down. 📖✨
And Cammi. Sweet, radiant Cammi. 💕 She’s been Vin’s light since he was 14. FOURTEEN! 😭 The idea that he’s loved her from afar for so long, quietly watching, waiting, yearning… it shattered me in the best way. 🥺 She’s everything good in his dark, twisted world, and the fact that he both craves her and believes he’ll ruin her is just chef’s kiss perfection. 💫
🌪️ The Romance The overlapping timeline with the De Bellis saga? 👏 Brilliant. This continuation felt seamless, like stepping right back into the chaotic, dangerous, and deeply emotional mafia world Kylie Kent has built. The connection between Vin and Cammi is electric, undeniable, and impossibly complicated. 🔥
The way Vin’s darkness softens when he’s near Cammi gave me chills. 🖤 She sees the man behind the trauma, the boy who never had a chance, and she’s determined to love him no matter the cost. Their chemistry is palpable, their emotions raw, and their love story is as messy as it is beautiful.
🖤 The De Bellis Legacy Can we talk about how much I LOVED seeing Gio’s protective big-brother vibes again? 💪 It made me wish he could take down all those monsters in Vin’s past all over again. 😤 And Santos—oh, Santos. He’s finding his way in this brutal world, and I’m crossing ALL my fingers 🤞 that he’s up next. I need him to get the closure he so desperately deserves. 🖤
🌟 Final Thoughts This book wrenched my guts and horrified me as a parent. The evil Vin endured, the way he fights to live and love despite it, and the unbreakable bond he shares with his siblings make this story unforgettable. 🥹
If you’ve followed the De Bellis family saga, you’ll LOVE how this book ties into their world while diving deep into Vin and Cammi’s heartache and hope. And if you’re new to the series? Buckle up. This is one dark, emotional rollercoaster. 🎢
I’ll be over here patiently (okay, impatiently 😅) waiting for Santos to have his moment in the spotlight. PLEASE, Kylie, give this man his closure! 🙏
Who’s ready to fall into the De Bellis family drama all over again? 🙋♀️

💘Tortured/Broken Hero 💘 Good Girl/Bad Boy 💘 Touch Heals 💘 Push & Pull 💘 I’m Not Good Enough for you 💘 Rescue Me from Myself 💘 Fighting Inner Demons 💘 Slow Burn with Explosive Chemistry
Star: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kylie Kent’s A Sinner’s Saint #4 delivers an emotionally charged, steamy, and deeply compelling romance that explores the raw complexities of love, redemption, and the battle against inner demons.
Vin De Bellis is the quintessential tortured hero—haunted by relentless demons that seem inescapable. His only solace has been in fleeting escapes, until Camilla “Cammi” Taylor enters his life. Cammi’s touch brings a fleeting reprieve from the darkness that consumes him, but Vin fears his presence will ultimately drag her down. Their chemistry is undeniable, but their connection is fraught with tension, fear, and the ever-present threat of heartbreak.
Cammi, on the other hand, knows the risks of falling for the bad boy. She’s drawn to Vin despite his darkness, recognising a spark of light in him that he can’t see for himself. Her strength and vulnerability create a poignant contrast as she navigates the push and pull of their relationship, fighting to hold onto her own heart while trying to reach Vin’s.
Kylie Kent’s writing is raw and unflinching, painting a vivid picture of two souls drawn together by an electric connection but held apart by their own fears and traumas. The emotional intensity is palpable, making every interaction between Vin and Cammi feel like both a spark of hope and a ticking time bomb.
The story is layered with passion, pain, and the struggle for redemption, making it a gripping addition to the A Sinner’s Saint series. Readers who love tortured heroes, strong heroines, and romances that dive deep into the complexities of human emotion will find this book impossible to put down.
A Sinner’s Saint #4 is a story of love battling darkness, where the stakes are as high as the emotions are raw. It’s a must-read for fans of dark, angsty romance with characters who fight to find the light even in the deepest shadows.
I didn’t love it as much as I was hoping, BUT I did love it. There’s no denying how amazing and great of a guy Vin is. Since book 1 he’s been the main brother to always befriend the other women first and the most easygoing. So it was gut wrenching to learn just what he endured as a child from his father. My heart broke for him. And then it hurt for Cammi. Her and Vin were the best couple ever and I love young love. I loved how it was only her to soothe his nightmares and I loved how innocent and sweet Cammi was. She was the complete opposite to him. But I didn’t necessarily enjoy watching how she fell apart when he left. It was heartbreaking. But I got it. The love they shared was deep and wasn’t just sexual, they were best friends too. But in some ways I really wished she was stronger too. Her going to Paris with him was the worst idea since she wasn’t over and it was obvious their vacation would end in even more heartache- which it definitely did. I hate when there’s a Timelapse in a story where the characters are broken, but luckily it wasn’t too bad here and Vin was definitely a good boy and never even thought about another woman. The way the separation was written was almost like it never happened, it really wasn’t bad and in the end was exactly what Cammi needed. To separate herself from Vin. Although it’d be better if they never broke up, but it’s a story, lol. One thing I really liked seeing was Santo stepping into and playing the good brother. Where Vin always befriended the girlfriends in prior books, it was Santo who was there for Cammi and they seemed to have formed a special connection. I really liked that. One more brother to go in the series, Santo, and I think his is going to be the saddest, most angsty and emotional one. But I’m so ready for him to get his HEA, and uncover just what Shelli did. I have a feeling there’s a lot of secrets and betrayals left to be revealed!
Vincenzo De Bellis and Camile Taylor broke my heart and then slowly put it back together. Kylie did a fantastic job with this one, I am not a crier, and I can say I shed some tears for these two, especially Vin. Vin had such an awful childhood because of his monster father and the abuse he had to endure, physical, sexual and emotional trauma he had to go through. His way of coping was smoking pot day and night to keep the nightmares away, until Cammi. Cammi was most definitely his saint and savior. He was able to finally sleep and not rely so much on the weed while he was with Cammi. Cammi accepted Vin for exactly who he was. She didn't judge him or try to change him. She was his rock and biggest supporter. For them being teenagers, their love was unconditionally beautiful. Until Vin had to go and break Cammi's heart (not on purpose of course) but he gets it in his head that she's better off without him after an incident, and they have to suffer without each other, thus breaking my heart as well. All the groveling was so well done, and obviously, everything works out at the end, but Vin has my heart. I'm a Josh girl, and T is my #2, but this book is absolutely my favorite KK book, no doubt about it. Vin and Cammi are the definition of ride or die, the way she was so supportive of not only Vin but his brothers as well, I will never not see a shovel and not think of Cammi and the De Bellis brothers, lol. She was definitely made to be a De Bellis. Her banter with Santo was so sweet. She was just so perfect, I loved her more than any other fmc, she knew exactly what Vin needed and was there for him no questions asked. Except for those magic words, ASK ME ❤️💔❤️🩹, this is now my favorite phrase. Those words hold so much in them, is everything for Vin and Cammi, do yourself a favor and go read this book, you won't regret it.
Vin’s story is an emotional and gut-wrenching journey that will leave readers heartbroken. While this book is a standalone in the series, focusing on a different brother, readers who have followed the previous books will already know some of the painful background Vin carries. This novel delves deeply into the trauma he endured as a teenager at the hands of his father, and it doesn’t shy away from depicting the abuse through flashbacks. These scenes are difficult to read, but they are crucial in understanding how Vin copes with his past. He struggles to escape the memories through drugs and alcohol, constantly battling vivid nightmares that haunt him every night. Though the abuse has ended, Vin relives it each time he closes his eyes.
Everything changes when he meets Cammi, the one person who can calm his mind and give him the peace he desperately needs. Their love develops quickly and intensely. Though Cammi doesn’t know the full extent of Vin’s trauma, she senses that something deeply painful is buried within him. Vin views Cammi as his savior, but he’s also determined to protect her from his darkness, believing that their relationship has limits. He makes the painful choice to distance himself from her, convinced it’s the only way to keep her from becoming trapped in his struggles.
The story includes a second and third-act breakup, which ultimately serves to push both characters toward personal growth. Their time apart is necessary for them to better understand themselves and what they need from each other. Vin, especially, must confront his demons and find healing. The novel spans several years, and we also get to see Vin’s perspective on key events from earlier books in the series.
Overall, I adored this book and look forward to Santo’s story, which promises to be just as heartbreaking as Vin’s journey.
Loved this book. Vin and Cammi were the ultimate ride or die couple. After all the warnings and the things I knew about Vin’s past I honestly expected it to be a lot darker, and while there were definitely some dark memories visited, I think Kylie Kent did a great job tackling a story that was probably exceptionally hard to write.
Cammi was the perfect match for Vin. She never balked at his trauma or his demons. She was all in with him no matter what. No matter how many times Vin tried to get her to hate him she was never able to do anything but love him. She definitely fought through a lot of pain with Vin, but she was never able to fully give up on him.
Vin had a lot of demons. He experienced things that no child ever should have. But he still had such a good heart. He first showed his softer side in caring for Daisy while Gabe was in prison, but he took it to all new heights with his love for Cammi. He was always trying to do what he thought was right for his “Saint”. He didn’t always execute that in the best way, but he’s also between the ages of 17 - 19 in this book. For a kid with the demons he had, he did the best he was able to do.
There was so much going on in this book. It started in the middle of Gio’s timeline and worked its way up to the present. There were a lot of time jumps, but ultimately it made sense. There were a lot of hard revelations between the brothers, but it brought them closer when it could have torn them apart. I really liked the relationship between Santo and Cammi and I hope it’s something that helps him find his peace in his book next.
I put off reading Vin's book because I was aware of the trigger warnings and needed to be in the right space for my own mental health before reading it. And I'm glad I did, because this is one of the best books that I have read this year.
There's two parts to this book. You have the first part, which takes place when they're both still at school in their final year, and then you have the second part which is when they're both in their second year at university.
The first part does have flashbacks to Vin's childhood, and whilst they're traumatic, they're still very well written. Vin does have his own way of coping with his past trauma with the use of drugs. And when he finally does start spending time with Cammi, he needs to have her consent in case he does something she doesn't want. The relationship which he and Cammi have does progress very quickly, and they are somewhat codependent on each other, and even when his past rears its head again, she is determined to be there with him - even if that’s not what he wants.
The second part though is where they both come back into each other's lives after they've been apart for a year. And has Vin fighting his inner demons to finally make his way back to his girl. This story has so many layers to it, that it had me laughing and crying for both of them. There is so much passion that these characters have for each other, and the struggle for Vin to beat his demons makes this story so gripping that I couldn't stop reading it. I know that we have one book left to go with the De Bellis siblings, and I have a feeling that Santo's book is going to be just as emotional.
Vin and Cammi’s story - what can I say? Kylie Kent’s writing is unflinchingly honest, exposing the deepest, most painful parts of two souls who are drawn together by an undeniable connection but torn apart. Their own pasts, their own brokenness creates a situation where it just might be impossible for these 2 to survive. The emotional intensity between them is potent, every moment charged with hope of something beautiful, yet hanging by a thread as if it could all unravel at any moment.
Yes it does start out when they are underage, and I have seen some reviews from people who hated this, but if that is all you are focused on then you have missed the whole essence of the story. I actually forgot a few time that MMC snd MFC started out in High School and then into College. These 2 are battling for their hearts, and their very souls, and this has to be seen developing from the start of their relationship. The extreme emotions of "young love" which stays strong enough to mature and cope with the dark realities of their pasts creates the HEA that these characters deserve.
If you crave dark, angsty romance with characters who wrestle with their demons in the pursuit of something better—something real—then this book will having you sobbing and cheering and sometimes both at the same time. A Sinner’s Saint (De Billis Crime Family #4) is a story that will stay with me for a long time. The words "Ask Me" might be the most powerful expression of love I have read in a book so full praise to Kylie Kent for this amazing book.
I absolutely love the DeBellis brothers and this series as a whole, and I was pleasantly surprised by Vin’s story. Kylie Kent has a knack for writing female characters who have usually had some kind of major trauma occur, but come out the other side of it stronger than before. With this book, she flipped it around and gave Vin the traumatic backstory and the present day hang ups as a result, (his constant need for consent before touching his girlfriend; his aversion to being touched by male friends). It was new and different to read the FMC as the never-wavering support system, providing constant reassurance and empathy to the MMC. As with all of the books in this series, I really loved that we got to see all of the brothers and their partners, and check in with what they’re up to throughout the span of time this book covers. Something that Kylie has done with each book in this series that I find really interesting and enjoyable is she has set them all within the same general time frame, so plot points from each brother’s book overlap, and you get to re-read the same events from a different POV in each. You get to learn more details and gain more insight of the whole family picture with each new book that comes out. I can only imagine how complicated it must be for the author to write each of these books within the same timeframe, rewriting the same events in different voices each time without missing anything. As difficult as that may be to write, it absolutely pays off for the reader’s satisfaction of being able to revisit favorite characters and plot points introduced in previous stories.
“Kiss me like it’s the first and last time you ever will”
4⭐️I knew this book was going to hurt after Vin’s origin story in the previous book… but wow. I was not prepared for just how devastating this was. This one absolutely wrecked me. My heart bled right alongside Vin’s and honestly? I am not okay. 😭
It takes a lot for a book to make me cry, and this one broke straight through my emotional defences. Full devastation. If you’re going in, be prepared—this isn’t a gentle ache, it’s proper, sit-with-it pain.
I really loved how this story didn’t just run a parallel plot alongside the earlier books in the series. Instead, it added depth and perspective without rehashing everything we already know. Because we’re already familiar with the other characters’ stories, it trusted the reader and didn’t waste time repeating scenes or events—and I appreciated that so much. Let’s be real: ADHD brain + rereading the same beats = zero dopamine. This kept things fresh and emotionally focused where it mattered.
As much as this book hurt, I genuinely loved being inside Vin’s story. His pain, his growth, his emotional journey—it all felt raw and earned.
That said… I’m already emotionally bracing myself for what’s coming next. Santo’s story is clearly going to be another heartbreak and I am pre-emptively unwell about it. But despite the pain (or maybe because of it), this was such a powerful read—and I’m really glad I experienced Vin’s story.
The youngest son out of the De Bellis Brothers Vin -Vincinzo De Bellis one that has nightmares of the monsters that have taken his very soul destroying the essence but always fighting to exist and resist the heavy darkness that followers a sinner.Until amazing saint brightness the darkness for awhile . " I will take her for as long as I can have her, though after all , it's not like there's a return hotline for his delivered saints" KK. From a distance Vin has been the shadow that protects the saint from ever falling and a love so strong that gets tested .

" When the sinner touched the saint, the lights came on and the darkness was gone" " There are no monsters. There were no nightmares. And the horrible things that had happened to the sinner were gone"
Absolutely loving the series and love the characters highly recommended A Sinner and Saint join to make one whole heart breathe again and a beautiful life to enjoy. Darkness comes and goes. Highly recommended reading not for the faint hearted
This has to be one of the most emotional stories Kylie has done! (Besides Lola). My heart absolutely broke for Vin and Cammi at multiple stages through this.
The first half of the book is very heavy with traumatic flashbacks (please check the TWs) Vin went through a hell of a lot as a child. His father was a cruel monster and let unspeakable things happen to Vin. Vin found his own way at coping with his Demons through the use of drugs, the only thing that helped quiet the monsters in his head. That is until he finally talks to the object of his obsession Cammi.
His relationship with Cammi is fast paced and they come to depend on each other wholly and unhealthy. The only peace Vin finds is when he’s with Cami all the noises and monsters in his head dissipate.
But his demons cause him to self sabotage and he ultimately breaks Cammi’s heart.
I love how supportive Cammi always was and she never gave up on Vin and accepted everything that had happened and everything he is. Even if he didn’t.
Did you know there’s such a thing as broken heart syndrome?Kylie did. And she almost broke me with that knowledge!
But it wouldn’t be a Kylie story without a HEA. There’s lots of grovelling but we get there.
I knew since the first book that Vin story was gonna broke me in pieces and it did. But what a way to put me back together the more I read and that end (I needed more of Vin and Cammi) fill all my sadness. If I love Vin before, I love him more know if that’s even possible. He deserves the world and more, and what a way to give it to him than through his Saint.
This story is sad but at the same time has so much love and healing that i was crying the whole book with a mix of emotions. But it’s the type of book that you know the ending is gonna be so good that every sad part is worth it. I love how strong the FMC is and how they connect with each other since day one. Vin has my heart since I started reading about the family, and I knew his story will be a hard one but it was so worthy. I really wish I had more at the end, but who knows maybe in Santos book will have more.
The spice was good not to much scenes but the ones that appear are so worthy and the way the book is written it does not make you feel like you are missing something or need more of it. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Thank you Kylie Kent for giving us Vin story, it was worth the wait!

This book is a beautifully painful exploration of brokenness, healing, and that dangerous kind of love that feels like relief and ruin all at once. Vin is the definition of a tortured MMC, haunted, self destructive, and convinced he’s beyond saving. His internal struggle with his demons felt raw and authentic, not romanticised, and that made his moments of softness hit so much harder.
Cammi is the perfect counterbalance to him. She’s not delusional about who Vin is or what loving him could cost her. I loved that she doesn’t go into this thinking she can “fix” him, she simply feels him. The way she sees the light in him, even when he’s trying desperately to push her away, is heartbreaking and beautiful in equal measure.
Their chemistry is intense but fragile, like one wrong move could shatter everything. The push and pull, the self sabotage, the yearning, it’s all done so well. Every time Vin steps back “for her own good,” you feel both his fear and Cammi’s quiet devastation, and honestly? Rude. My feelings did not sign up for that.
This story leans hard into emotional angst, damaged souls, and the idea that love doesn’t always save you, but sometimes, it gives you something worth fighting your demons for. If you love deeply flawed characters, emotional intensity, and romances that hurt just enough to feel real, this book absolutely delivers. 💔📖✨
This book is probably my favorite of the entire series so far. My heart literally broke for everything Vin went through. It was really difficult for me to read through the chapters detailing his nightmares. I pretty much broke down when Vin told Gio everything and cried in his brother’s arms. I also absolutely hated how he handled things with Cammi after Paris though. I cried ugly tears for what happens to Cami right after the story takes a year leap and again when she’s in the hospital telling Vin what happened. Kylie Kent has written about the kind of love everyone would want but also be scared of after reading A Sinner’s Saint. I absolutely enjoyed visiting with all the other characters from other books in the series. My heart also hurts for Santo and everything that he is going through especially in the epilogue where he sits outside Cammi’s door. I can’t wait to read his book in January, although it is a bit annoying having to keep revisiting the same timeline over and over with repetitive scenes from the past books especially when you have read them one after the other.
Vin maybe the baby of the family, but don’t let that fool you!
♥️♥️ My poor heart! My feelings were all over the place with this one! I felt it started off so strong! I knew I would love Vin he’s been one of my favorites since book one. Cami I loved her first, then was yelling at her bc she would show strong moments then the begging I was NO!! I almost put the book down. I understood where Kent was writing from Vin is a hard one the trauma is gut wrenching, he needed someone to just love him with everything!
As Marco said they were each other’s ducks. Once you get over the hump of what in heck is wrong with Cami?! Oh and by no means and I letting Vin off the hook his brothers tried and tried. He is stubborn! But again this one is hard! Check the triggers this one is HARD!! The details of Vins past is so hard to read.
I still give it a 5 star review BC the Kent wrote the characters they way she saw them who am I to Judge they get their HEA! I do wish Vin had some answers as to why his dad kept saying what he did.
