Collin and Alex have been friends since they were ten years old. Collin has been there through everything in Alex’s life, even throughout Alex’s breakup with her ex last Christmas. Collin never left her side and picked up the pieces. Isn’t that what friends are for?

On the one year anniversary of Alex's biggest breakup. Collin and Alex get snowed in on Christmas Eve. Spending the holidays with your best friend sounds like the best idea. Except Collin has a secret he hasn’t told Alex. He has loved her throughout their whole friendship. Alex had thought Collin was her soulmate, but everyone thinks that about their best friend at least once. Right?

One thing leads to another, and they cross that boundary of friendship and into the territory of lovers. Now that Collin and Alex have made the big step, they try navigating this new dynamic they created.
Is it too late to go back if this doesn't work out?

Love how this author put little stories she wrote into one whole book. It was kinda like reading a whole different book. It made it seem perfect how they all came into one story. Recommend this to everyone.

If you are looking for a cutesy little quick romance read then this book is you! I am a sucker for a good childhood best friends to lovers and that is exactly what this book is! Collin and Alex have been friends (and grew up as next door neighbors) since they were kids and Collin has been in love with her forever. They both quickly realize they love each other one night while snowed in at Alex’s bookstore!!

She owns a bookstore, he’s a firefighter what more could you want?? Won’t stop recommending this book to anyone looking for a quick read!!

This is such an adorable friends to lovers romance. I read this in just a couple of hours and could not put it down. I was rooting for Alex and Collin immediately and was so excited with how their love story began and even more so with how it ended. Men like Collin in romance novels give me hope that they exist in the real world. He’s such a kind soul who is head over heels for Alex. Everything he does for her just made my heart melt. This was such an easy read and will have you glued! Absolutely loved it!

I really liked this book. It was different to my usual romance reads, there's usually alot of sadness and negativity which then turns around but this book isn't like that. The characters are adorable and very likeable and it's very easy reading (always a bonus)!
I absolutely loved that it was so 'bookish' and that other book titles were mentioned. I loved going "Oh I've read that one" etc lol.
Overall, a really good read that I would reccomend to romance readers and anyone who loves books within a book!

Quick, but very enjoyable read. This was the perfect palette cleanser to have read in between other books. The plot was very simple and predictable, but still can’t help but to fall in love with both Alex and Collin. Classic friends to lovers romance. Decent amount of spice to keep things interesting. I also liked that the chapters were shorter, as it made it easier to hold my attention. Overall very glad I was part of the ARC team for this book.

Bookish Kind of Love offers a delightful, fast-paced narrative centering on childhood friends who evolve into lovers. It serves as a refreshing palette cleanser following the consumption of heavier, darker novels. I thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in the lives of Collin and Alex. However, I found it becoming overly repetitive. It felt as though I was reading several novellas about the couple which was combined into a single book.

Alycia has done it again! Love love love this heart warming wintry escape she’s created.

Alex, bookstore owner with a knack for baking, needs help prepping her store for a book club meeting.

In comes the ever present hero in her life.

Collin, hunky firefighter, best friend, and secret romance book reader. Never had the courage to Alex how he felt these past 12 years that they’ve known each other. However, now that they’re both single again, and alone on the cold wintry night, he takes his shot.

This quick Hallmark feel romance is perfect for a cozy night in. Sweet with a pinch of spice, it makes you believe in happily ever afters.

Alex and Collin have been through so many things through life, nothing surprises these 2 since they have known each other since childhood.

One thing leads to another and the feelings change from adoring to infatuated and they can't stand to be away from each other, only having eyes for each other and hearts in their eyes , following them on their cute journey of discovering their love for each other and the future they have together.

Bookish Kind of Love by Alycia Carosella is about best friends since childhood who discovered their love for one another. Alex owns a book store & Collin is a volunteer firefighter, what more could you want.

This is a sweet romance with a hint of spice. Alex and Collin are likable characters who you will be rooting for from the beginning. It is a quick paced read. Their relationship is like a dream. Collin & Alex understand each other so thoroughly that you can't help but smile for all of their thoughtful interactions.

This book was adorable! It was a super quick and easy read. Full of cute romance. It’s a childhood best friends to lovers romance story. It’s happily ever after, and it’s a he fell first as kids. And has loved her since. The characters are Collin and Alex. Then one snowy night they get snowed in at Alex’s bookstore and that’s where they both realize they love each other. Cozy swooning right there. Oh did I mention Collin is a firefighter, you just can’t beat this story. If you’re looking for a feel good romance I definitely recommend this one.

This was a super sweet good read. I really enjoyed this book. I love how Collin and Alex were so close and always there for each other. When Collin finally decided to be brace and tell Alex how he felt. Collin is the sweetest book boyfriend. I loved how Collin showed Alex how much she meant to him.
I loved all the book club books. If you want a sweet easy book you should read this one!!

This book was super cute & a light, fun, and easy read! The characters were sweet and I enjoyed their love story of being childhood friends to lovers. While I overall enjoyed this book at times I did feel like it kinda kept repeating itself with him constantly giving her praise and then them ending up in bed so that’s mainly why it is a 3 star book for me but in the end it was cute & id still recommend!

If you like spicy and cute quick romance then you got to read this book! I really like how this goes for childhood best friend become to lovers which is romantic. I love Collin's personality and he has been in love with her since childhood! Even better is they grew up as next door neighbors! he is firefighter and Alex is owner of bookstore. I can't complain or can't recommend enough to anyone. I will say RUN dont walk, RUN like its the last day of world or so.

Now that we got a perfect closure I can go into the details…
Although I can't say this book was one of a kind but it was pretty cute, wholesome and adorable romance book without any extra drama or misunderstanding, it was just pure cute fluff where you can witness their relationship gradually progress step by step.
You can read it as a relaxation between two heavy books cuz nothing is better than a sweet heartwarming romance to take your head off things!! (especially if you're a romance girly)

Love this sweet book. It’s totally different from other books I have read where there is this huge fallout or heartbreak moment. This is a love story that started before they both knew and it’s so sweet to watch it turn into what it is. Love that they are so good for each other and that dreams really do come true for them.
