James wants to be an artist, so we are reading this series together, which was given to me by my biological father. I keep looking to read books he gave me or recommended to me as a way to honor his memory and to connect with him. And, let's face it - short books just might get me to 100 books this year! But that aside - this series is beautiful and I've always meant to finish it.

The author explains some masterpieces of great artist Raphael and showed vivid aspects of painting.

Kate really enjoyed this older book. It includes several of Sanzio's paintings along with Raboff's descriptions and pointing out of different techniques used. Very insightful for this non-artist to read with her child.
