I love me a good motorcycle club book and the Wolf Warriors did not disappoint. It’s refreshing when an alpha male who’s packing as much BDE as Bash was, isn’t afraid to be transparent about his feelings. From the moment he saw Cambri, Bash knew she was going to be his and he pursued her with intentional purpose. He just had to convince her he was worth the risk. A relationship is the last thing Cambri is concerned with. After her trash azz baby daddy cuts her off, the only thing she’s looking for is full-time employment to keep a roof over her and her daughter’s head. Both of these characters had their fair share of baggage but, once they were able to let go of their past and trust each other, it was pretty much smooth sailing. Now, there were a few bumps along the way. Brooke refused to stay in her former FWB lane, Chevy didn’t want Cambri or Leigh but, didn’t want anyone else to have them, and NaNa was a whole wolf in sheep’s clothing, Oh, and Koy could’ve kept that bomb she dropped on Bash. It was so unnecessary to tell him that. That heffa was bitter for no damn reason. Like, girl, get over yourself and let it go. I loved the brotherhood amongst the club members. Especially between Bash and Pharaoh. They truly were a family and always had each other’s back. And, Lil Miss Leigh 100% stole the whole book. She was the real star. I enjoyed meeting the Wolf Warriors and I can’t wait for the other books in this series. I’m impatiently waiting on Pharaoh’s story. I’m callin’ it now. I think his secret boo is going to be Melinda. Bet!
Rules were made to be broken! At least this was the case when it came to Bash and Cambri. This was an enjoyable read and nice introduction to the Wolf Warriors MC club.
Cambri was really a go getter and amazing mother to little miss Leigh (I absolutely ADORED her). After her fxck nxgga of a baby daddy called himself cutting her off because she wouldn’t bend to his every whim she did what she had to do to support her baby and that led her to getting back into the world of exotic dancing. Or so she thought. During her audition process she had no idea that Bash was watching in the cut and homeboy was instantly smitten. He politely told Cambri that she played herself if she thought she was about to be showing her goods all over Auburn Lounge. Sis wasn’t the least bit upset especially since she was presented with the offer to make just as much cash while keeping her clothes on.
Bash was a natural protector and when it came to Cambri and Leigh it was no different. These ladies snatched his heart and refused to give it back and he wasn’t the least bit upset by this. He was theirs and they were his and everyone knew it. Bash was a true alpha and had no problem putting anyone in their place that threatened the peace of those he cared about!
Chevy and his sister were a real walk in the park. NaNa almost had me fooled smh…. Just a whole family of trash!
I enjoyed the true brotherhood displayed by this group and I hope we get Pharaoh’s story next because he definitely had me intrigued!
I hit the jackpot today with this fantastic story. Sebastian was a sure-fire true Alpha to the max. When he met Cambri, I sensed he wasn't all motorcycle club notoriously raunchy. His vibe did not fit that image to me. I had no problems with the way he pursued Cambri. And the fact that he broke his rule about women and children showed he was a softie. He needed to meet the right woman. Cambri was feisty and in no way, shape, or form a pushover. I think that was why they fit like a glove. Cambri's daughter Leigh was the cutest; she added to the storyline nicely. Conversely, there is no need to talk about the deadbeat dad or his trifling family. Overall, this was a dope story; you should read it; I recommend this one...
I found this book to be quite gentle and easy to listen to. It didn’t have too much drama, which was nice because it made for a relaxing read. I appreciated being able to enjoy it while I waited for my other audiobooks to become available. Sometimes, a softer story is just what we need in those waiting moments.
Lord I love me a Sebastian! This was a lot sweeter and softer than I thought it was going to be. I mean my boy never disappointed because he always choose violence but I didn’t expect the instalove. I really enjoyed Mills writing style but sometimes who’s saying what during the dialogue wasn’t always clear. Leigh was a delight and Cambri was cool. Single mom is becoming a top trope for me.
I inhaled this. Black motorcycle club. If you already love this genre, you’ll have fun, if it’s not your thing, this isn’t the one to change your mind. Single mom and the alpha guy who immediately pursues her. There is other woman drama, which the hero does not entertain, also her child’s father tries to harm them. CW for forced birth, abortion specifically used to hurt the hero, shooting. The three year old definitely read too old to me. There were some parts I didn’t love, some typos that took me out of the story, but over all, I just had an amazing time.
But the sister was too much. Like so fake and it wasn’t cute. The baby daddy was just a dead beat that still wanted a hold on Cambri and was mad she was moving on. I’m glad she did though. Leigh was everything and so pure.
Bash being open and honest was it for me. He fell for Cambri fast and I loved that for her. I wanted that for him, to be healed enough to love her. Cambri deserved the world and I’m glad he was willing to give it to her.
The message was bigger than the story. We get love lust and bikers... No really we get two hurt hearts that heal each other with love. We get nook bae Bash and hopefully Ro book is next.
Cambri, a young and single mom is looking for work when her ex and daughter's father, Chevy decides to cut her off financially. Cambri finds herself auditioning for a job as a dancer at the Wolf Warriors Lounge. Cambri has prior experience as a dancer and is really great at it. Cambri is immediately met with resistance. Brooke the woman who is responsible for hiring and managing the dancers sees Cambri for what she is, a threat. Once Brooke sees how good of a dancer that Cambri is and that she has now caught the attention of Bash, a club enforcer and manager of the lounge, she decides that Cambri is not a good fit for the lounge. However, when Bash sees Cambri dance, he's immediately smitten. He knows from that moment on she's someone he wants to get to know. He refuses to let her dance and offers her a job working the bar. Bash is upfront about with Cambri from the beginning, letting her know that he's interested and not just temporarily but for the long haul. After dealing with her crazy and sorry ex another relationship is the last thing Cambri wants. She just wants to work and take care of her daughter, Leigh. Bash has had his heart broken and has set rules in place for a simple life. One of those rules is not dating women with children. However, Bash not only falls for Cambri but Leigh as well. I really enjoyed reading this story. Bash was on his grown man from day one. He knew what he wanted and went after it. He had major BDE and was the ultimate protector. Bash broke down Cambri's protective walls one by one by showing her that he was present and committed not only to her but Leigh as well. Leigh stole the show, she was smart, witty and the cutest manipulator ever. She stole everyone's heart. Chevy and his sister NaNa were trash. Chevy was like an irritating fly buzzing around and I was glad when Bash Swatted his ass. I felt sorry for NaNa in the beginning, and I really thought that she would be there for Cambri only to realize she was a snake.
4.5 stars! Mrs Mills doesn’t miss! This was definitely boy meets girl and boy wants girl so he does everything to keep her type love story! Both Cambri and Bash had their share of baggage but once they decided they wanted each other nothing could stop that. Now the bumps in the roads did cause some conflict and one situation I would’ve like more resolve but I get it. Bash was the alpha male of Cambri’s dream and he made sure she knew it too! I’m so excited for the books to come including Pharaoh’s book because it sounds like a forbidden romance for sure! All in all I enjoyed this book and definitely recommend!
K.C. Mills really does a great job of writing good, intense scenes. This is your typical contemporary biker romance. Oftentimes consider MC romances on a continuum; either it's a fairytale of men who just so happen to ride bikes but they are perfect, treat women with the utmost respect, never put the wrong foot down, only have legal businesses, etc; or there is dark romance side where the men are 1%ers, hard-core crimes, the violence is gritty and realistic. Here, we have a story in the middle, and it works. The conflict was believable. Bash was the right balance of characteristics. Cambri was a great single mom, but the violence was realistic. I enjoyed seeing a Black biker gang get some good shine. The writing flowed, and the reading felt quick and easy. A nice way to spend an afternoon.
This series is gonna be good! Wild Warriors MC got my whole attention. Cambrie and Chevy broke my heart. We always want more from them than they are willing to give. Abs somebody always want to use the child as a pawn. Leigh is too mature for her ripe 3 years and I enjoyed every minute of her owning the adults around her. BASH!!!! Yasssss, I don’t know if I was reading too fast but I would have enjoyed more details on how he looks, the descriptions didn’t stick to me. But I loved his pursuit of Cambri. Even though I enjoyed the story I wish there was more to the intimate scenes they felt rushed. Several editing errors kept this from being 5 stars.
Ok ok this was gritty and tender at the same time. Leigh is so precious so I was happy how things shook out. There were a couple of things that I was like hmmmm but within context I had to let be (club property and how Koy's storyline was resolved). Honestly it made sense I just winced on the description. But in terms of the plot and character development again it all made sense. Also, I think you know the conversation about co parenting was really spot on. Throwing money at a kid is not the same. Anywho I will be Pharaohs book because I love a grumpy hero who's in love!
I loved Bash & how he came behind Cambri and Leigh! Bash knew at first sight that Cambri was it for him, and didn’t let up. I loved the way that they both were able to communicate openly and honestly about their pasts. And I really loved the way that Bash always kept his word and was protective of them, and was man enough to apologize when he was wrong. Loved it. This is was a great story, that flowed well with likable characters, not without its fair share of drama.
This author is amazing and never disappoints. I would have given ten stars if I could. I love a good motorcycle club 📚 book. Bash saw Cambri and pursued her with purpose!! Their chemistry was 🔥💦 💣. Leigh Bear stole the show but her dad was trash 🗑. Can’t wait to read about another Wolf Warrior club member👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
The synopsis didn’t do this book justice and the disclaimer painted it out to be an unproblematic Romance with edgy characters but it was so much more! Bash was a typical alpha but his past brought a lil drama. Cambri’s baby daddy was whack. I really loved 🥰 this book. Looking forward to reading more about the Wolf Warriors!
Cute, which I know isn’t typically the word used to describe a book regarding MC. It was a very soft overview of that world. Yet I enjoyed it, just didn’t love it.
I found myself more interested in Pharaoh and his story. So I’ll patiently await his story- hopefully that will be sooner than later.
I really liked this one. Single parent trope. Loved the relationship between Bash and Leigh. Leigh was the cutest three year old. This book had me smiling with just enough drama to have you cursing people out. Chevy and his family hella flawed. I do wish the epilogue was a lil further out and would love an update on their little family. I would recommend.
Reading about Bash and Cam relationship was interesting they broke their rules for each other. Leigh had them wrapped around her finger. Chevy is a deadbeat and a scum bag how do you do that to your daughter. I’m interested in Pharaohs story
I enjoyed this read it was different from what you usually write about. The m.c. was family oriented with who were theirs. Baby bash was all camri needed to complete hers and leighs family.
Bash BDE…he was so hooked the moment he saw Cambri…Brooke should have got her has beat; hating bxtch…Chevy should have been killed tbh after what he did and his sister should have caught a fade too..
I think every woman swoons for the alpha male that knows exactly what he wants and Bash is exactly that. He loved his girls to the best of his ability while still remaining true to who he was! I enjoyed reading this book!
I liked Bash, and I really enjoyed how he stepped up for Leigh, I also really enjoyed the sense of brotherhood in this book. Cambri and Bash were cute and honestly couldn’t have avoided ending up together even if they tried with everything they had.
I felt like this book didn’t have much depth. Yes, they had a love connection, but it was very monotone if that’s a thing. I liked the connection that he had with the daughter, and obviously the ex had to be the antagonist of the story. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it.
This was a great read! Her baby daddy was trash! I was waiting to see if koy was going to make an appearance. You didn’t disappoint.I can’t wait to read pharaohs story!
