Hace mucho tiempo que no leía nada de Mayu Shinjo y ha sido genial. Me encantan sus historias y su dibujo en especial siempre me ha inspirado. Se nota que éste fue uno de sus primeros trabajos porque su dibujo ha evolucionado para bien, peor aún asi, lo he disfrutado bastante.

La puntuación sería de 2'5.
Es una historia muy simple tan sólo dos tomos. No me ha impresionado, es muy típica, pero para leer y pasar un ratito esta bien.

All I can say about this series is "meh".
It's a good idea and it could have been great, but unfortunately its short length is what made it less than stellar for me. The characters are decent and again, the idea is good. It's just that there are so many things about it that just didn't ring as true as they needed to.
My biggest peeve is that the demon possessing Shouta RAPES someone, yet it's only brought up briefly again in the series. Miono forgives him because she realizes that it's not Shouta himself, but seems to accept that her childhood friend is harboring a demon capable of raping and cannibalizing other people. There's no fear in her at all. All of this could have been explained away by saying that Miono wouldn't have been hurt due to the demon inside of her, but it wasn't done. It was just brought up as a plot point to show how demonic Ginyasha is, then dropped in order to move on to the romance part so we could feel sorry for him. You don't even see Shouta worrying about it that overly much, to be honest. The characters do worry a little, but not nearly enough when you consider that Shouta is a host for someone that is doing stuff that could wind up ruining his future forever and landing him in jail.
If there'd been more development, this would have been a better plot point and a better series over all but it just falls short.

I am not a big fan of Shinjo Mayu. I can't stand her weak female characters and forceful male characters accompanied with unnecessary smut scenes. However this manga is doesn't have any of those traits.
It is a sweet love story with a mix of science ficiton and actual fantasy. It could have been better if it had more chapters to develop the story a bit more.
