A Swoony Small-Town, Billionaire-Next-Door, Age Gap Romance

I thought hot nerdy billionaires only existed in books.

Then brilliant astrophysicist Colin Hathaway moved in next door.

After losing his cool on camera, tech’s most eligible bachelor is hiding out in Buttercup Hill, getting a two-week taste of small town life while driving me crazy with that gorgeous smile and those deep blue eyes.

But I need to keep my distance. Not only is he ten years older and my brother’s college best friend, but I’m busy fending off the vultures trying to take over our family winery–and my siblings are just waiting for their little sister’s next bad decision.

Unfortunately, Colin is everywhere I turn. Offering to build me bookshelves, eating grilled cheese sandwiches in my kitchen, flying me off in a luxury helicopter to look at Mars through some fancy telescope.

Who knew the solar system was so sexy?

He’s impossible to resist.

The heat between us is white hot, and no one has ever looked at me the way he does–like I’m smart. Beautiful. Worthy. Strong. When he defends me in front of my family, I realize I’m in deep.

But one slip in front of the media could derail both of our careers. And my heart bears the scars of mistakes I’ve made in the past.

Trusting him could ruin everything I’m working for.

But what if I love him anyway?

Welcome to Buttercup Hill, where the men are hotter than the Napa Valley sun, and the wine flows all day long. LOVE YOU ANYWAY is Book 2 in the series of standalone novels, each with a happily ever after.

Stacy Travis writes charming, spicy romance about bookish, sassy women and the hot alphas who fall for them.

Writing makes her infinitely happy, but that might be the coffee talking. She drinks a LOT of it.

She's worked as a journalist, camp counselor, TV writer, SAT tutor, corporate finance researcher, education technology editor, and non-fiction author. When she's not on a deadline, she's in running shoes complaining that all roads seem to go uphill. Or on the couch with a margarita. Or fangirling at a soccer game.

She's never met a dog she didn't want to hug. And if you have no plans for Thanksgiving, she'll probably invite you to dinner.

Stacy lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two sons, and a poorly-trained rescue dog who hoards socks. And she's serious about the Thanksgiving thing.

This series is so cute and you can’t beat the Napa Valley vineyard setting either, talk about some gorgeous scenes. Much like in the first book I was captivated by the behind the scenes look at what running a vineyard actually looks like and then combine it with these tropes and I was all in. Tropes include billionaire, brother’s best friend, age gap, close proximity and a small little mystery. I loved PJ in the first book and really enjoyed getting to know her better here. Colin was a perfect compliment to her with his quiet yet steady support and they balanced each other perfectly. If you’re looking for a really sweet and cute romance with some spice and a great setting try this!

I enjoyed this! It was the first book I have read from the author and while it is the second in a series it can definitely be read as a standalone.

PJ is the youngest sibling and has always felt like her siblings view her as the unserious, young one. She helps run public relations for the winery her family owns and is in the middle of figuring out how to save the winery after a sum of money went missing. Her older brother’s college best friend, Colin, ends up spending a few weeks at the winery after some bad publicity. In fact he stays at the cottage next to PJs house. They struggle to keep their distance from each other, PJ being drawn to his nerdy yet sexy quirks and Colin drawn to how upfront and real she is. Commence a secret relationship until they get photographed together and things spiral from there.

I’ll always love a nerdy guy in a romance. Smart is sexy! I also loved the setting with it being in Napa Valley. It was fun and there’s a little bit of insight to what it takes for the family to keep the winery running.

PJ and Colin complimented each other well, they start out with a little coffee shop meet cute and a game of chess when they didn’t know who the other person was. Due to their proximity they hang out, PJ shows him how to slow down and enjoy some time for himself given he is such a workaholic. While Colin helps boost her confidence and realize that she isn’t viewed as just the youngest sibling and brings so much to the family business. They were really sweet and while it was a bit insta love with the majority of the book taking place over 2 weeks, I was convinced that these two loved each other and would continue to grow together.

I’m thinking this author is going to get added into my rotation of small town romances to read. Looks like the next book is fake fiancé!

❝ Colin is an astrophysicist, smart, nerdy and and wealthy, but a PR nightmare drove him into hiding, so up to Buttercup Hills he goes, where his best friend lives. He met PJ aka Penelope June, I just love the way Colin calls her Junebug! It's the cutest thing ever! 🥰 Their attraction was instant, but of course, her brother warns him off, but we know they’ll never listen.

💭I’m a sucker for both billionaire and small-town romances, so putting them together made me love this story even more. Their relationship was a slow burn, with plenty of spoiling moments by Colin, just how I like a billionaire romance to be! I would prefer Colin to grovel a bit more, but that public grand gesture almost made it up, so I was okay with it. This book was the perfect mix of sweetness and steam, and it’s a fantastic addition to the series!

Hannah and Aaron are back at it again, and I couldn't be more thrilled! I really love it when an author sticks with the same narrators throughout a series – it just brings a sense of comfort and familiarity to the story. Both of them were fantastic, as always, and I thoroughly enjoyed their performances. I couldn’t imagine anyone else bringing this story to life the way they do!

This is book number 2 in this series but can be completely read as a standalone book. This was my first read of this author and overall I enjoyed it.

This book started kinda slow about 1/3 of the way through it picked up. Pj is your sassy independent, fmc who works with her family at their vineyard. There family is going through some stressful things with their dad, money and the vineyard.

The MMC, Colin, is pjs brother archer’s best friend. He’s also an astrophysicist and a billionaire. He needs to get away from everything for a bit and calls up Archer, who tells him to come to the vineyard.

I absolutely adored these two together. Neither PJ nor Colin were looking for love, but found it when they least expected it. They are both dealing with personal problems so love was last thing they were looking n concentrating on.

This book had a lot of cute banter between them, as well as the siblings as side characters. Some steam and their chemistry was great. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to Valentine Pr for the advance copy

Book 2 in Buttercup Hill is a great addition to the series….I recommend reading the first book before this one to understand the overall backstory and other characters/family members.

Stacy writes the most amazing stories with fabulous characters, beautiful scenery and loves stories that will melt your heart.

PJ and Colin ate a treat …they will make you laugh, swoon and fall in love with them. Their banter, passion and overall dialogue is fantastic! There is an instant attraction but they fight it…until they can’t.

PJ is the youngest family member and often feels like she isn’t seen. She currently feels a lot of pressure with the family business but is doing her best to keep the families baggage out of the news.

Colin is a brilliant, cinnamon roll human who made a mistake and is hiding out trying to let things cool down. His friend (PJ’s brother) offered him a place to stay.

PJ and Colin form a friendship, begin to trust and finally share their secrets. They form a great support system for one another - they encourage, listen and help where they can.

I love this family, even with all the drama, they love fiercely, protect one another other but give each other so much crap. Stacy writes these characters you can’t help but fall in love with. Her stories take you on an adventure and make you want to forget the real world.

Congratulations on another amazing book!

This book was so cute! I really liked the first book in the Buttercup Hill series, but this one is now my favourite. Colin is a billionaire astrophysicist who is hiding out at his best friends’ family winery in Napa Valley after speaking negatively about his company to a reporter. There, he meets PJ, his best friend’s sister who is 10 years his junior. PJ is trying hard to prove herself as the head of public relations at the family winery. She is the youngest of five children and she does not feel as if her siblings ever take her seriously. Colin and PJ feel an immediate connection but they both know they should resist their attraction. I really liked PJ and I thought she was a very relatable character. Colin was such a sweet guy and I really loved his relationship with PJ. I highly recommend this series if you are a fan of small town romances! I cannot wait to get the next book in the series!

ARC BOOK REVIEW

I really enjoyed reading Love You Anyway, it was such a sweet romance book. Stacy's writing was honestly so hooking, I did not want to put this book down at all! Everything flowed so nicely, and the characters were just utterly amazing to follow along their journeys.

Love You Anyway is a small town, astrophysics billionaire MMC, brothers best friend with some lovely age gap entwined. Literally, some of my favourite tropes were all in this book. I loved the characters so much, Penelope aka PJ, was just such a funny FMC, and she was just so relatable as well, which is something that I love in books. Colin is just book boyfriend material all over, the type that isn't looking for a relationship but ends up falling in head first.

Reading PJ and Colin's story was an absolutely joy, I loved watching the progress they made, and when they finally admitted their true feelings, it was just amazing. The plot for this book was like nothing I expected and it was so good, I went in blind with this book beside knowing some of the tropes which absolutely sold me on and it ended up being a perfect romance book.

I'm so glad that I was able to read Love You Anyway, Stacy's writing is just amazing and perfect and I would just absolutely love to read any other books that she puts out in this series and just in general. If you love to read these tropes, then definitely take a read of Love You Anyway!

“I haven’t been able to stop thinking about you for days. And I think I’ve done a pretty damn good job of resisting you, but I can’t do it anymore.” – Colin Hathaway

This was such a cute story for me and it was exactly what I needed after the horrible week I had. I was super excited to read this one because I absolutely loved the first book and this one was no different. Stacy’s writing is amazing, she has a way of making you fall in love with these characters, truly amazing. Now the little mystery that Jackson was looking into in the first book, yeah we find out where the money went and I’m just gonna say that it wasn’t what I was expecting at all. I really need to reevaluate my prediction skills.

This was my first book by Stacy travis and I absolutely enjoyed it a lot. A swoony billionaire, next door and age gap romance that will get your attention as soon as you start reading it. Colin Hathaway tech's most eligible bachelor loses his cool in front of the cameras he decided to take a break from everything to one his classmates small town. PJ is a sassy independent woman who never thought she was going to find love in a hopeless place aka when he was her next door neighbor.

I absolutely adored this book neither PJ or Colin were looking for a serious relationship or something other than a to have a good time. So much happened in this story that you will absolutely enjoy. They were both dealing with personal issues but even like that they helped each other go through everything. I cant wait to read more about the other siblings but they all seem like a lot of fun. I totally recommend this book.

Love You Anyway is an age gap, brother's best friend romance with a touch of forbidden!

I loved the pacing of this book! Nothing felt rushed and their relationship progresses perfectly! They have a bit of a rough meet-cute but it just fits them. PJ is the youngest of her family and feels like she needs to prove herself. She's funny and witty and so smart. Colin is an astrophysicist hiding out at his friend's winery. These two start to hang out, as friends, but soon discover there's so much more to their connection. PJ shows him how to live a little and that he is capable of love. Colin gives her support through words of affirmation and with his actions. They really do belong together!

I smiled so much while reading this! I loved the surprise toward the end and can't wait for the next book to see how it goes!

Another sweet and spice addition to Stacy’s new Series in the California wine country!
I love the setting of these books and the Family they are centered around.

This one is little sister PJ and Archer’s Bestie Colin’s love story and y’all it’s super sweet and watch these two circle each other before a family of squatting squirrels bring them together!

I enjoyed the majority of this book, it was really the kind of abrupt 3rd act brake up that pulled me out of the story. I know it needed to happen but the way it did was jarring for me. Once Big brother got involved things started to level out again and I teared up at their reunion and HFN!

This one has Stacy patented brand of spiciness that we love in addition to the witty banter and the mutual pinning these two have.

Looking forward to the next installment in this series and I’ve got my fingers crossed for it to be Archer’s turn!

This is the second book from the "Buttercup Hill" series and presents the love story between PJ and her brother's best friend - Colin.

PJ is the youngest addition to the Buttercup family. The thing is, that her brothers always treated her as the baby in the family and never took her seriously. The mystery of the missing money is still not resolved, and she has to make her best efforts to help her brothers find them. Her brother's best friend, Colin, is a famous billionaire astrophysicist who comes to stay at the winery for some time, after he's made a crucial mistake at an interview about his company.

PJ and Colin's first meeting was fascinating. Neither of them knew who the other was. They were drawn to each other like magnets. After Archer introduces them, they still can't hide their attraction.

PJ is strong-willed, feisty and actually her own person. Colin was quite the opposite to her. Being an astrophysicist, he is really clever, but not used to having serious relationships. PJ is quite a challenge for him. But we all know that opposites are attracted and after a while they get together. Bit by bit, they fell in love with each other, but there were still challenges that had to be overcome, when it comes to his job and her family.

I loved watching them together. Having a spicy little secret affair with each other only added more fuel to the fire. Their love scenes were perfect. Full with so much passion and smut, I was there for all of it.

Towards the end of the story, I still prefer Colin's grovel lasting a bit longer, but then again I was still happy with the story.

Overall, I really enjoyed reading "Love you anyway".

tropes:

~ brothers best friend

~ age gap (he's 32, and she's 22 I believe)

~ billionaire MMC

~ small town

~next door neighbors/ forced proximity

~slow burn

this was a very fun, quick read that had me cheesing practically the whole way through (accept the 3rd act breakup, I'm still pisssed about it, and its why this doesn't have a full fife stars, the mmc Colin did handle it well...lets just say that.

pj...I actually really disliked her character in the first book in this interconnected standalone series, but when I dug into this story, I immediately love her, pj and Colin were absolutely adorable from the get go, their banter and connection was perfection, it had me turning pages unable to stop reading until around 3 am, then the minute I woke up at the butt crack of dawn, I read more, until I finished, I really recommend this! mostly just a fluffy sweet romance, with some drama at the end, but was resolved fairly quick, im definitely looking forward to more in this series!

thank you for the early copy to the author, Im really glad I was able to read more about this cute little town, and another couple falling in love in it!

PJ and Colin's coffee meet cute is adorable, although neither probably see it that way. Then she finds out he's her brother's best friend from college. And he's her new neighbor. And he's not in town for long. But neither can resist forming a friendship that quickly develops into more, even though they both know he has to go back to his billionaire life eventually. But perhaps...perhaps they can try to make a relationship work, even in the face of all those obstacles?

Colin is supposed to be here laying low, not falling for his friend's sister, defending her to her family, forming a beautiful friendship turned more with her. And he's definitely not supposed to bring the paparazzi to her door just when she and her family are trying to find investors for their winery. But he cannot help himself, he's never had this kind of reaction to anyone, and he wants more of her. He just may be able to have her if he doesn't fall back into his old patterns where he's a workaholic who can't find a way to balance his career and the rest of his life.

"I want this woman more than I've ever wanted anything."

This series, these two people, are the sweetest! I love how, with Colin's unwavering support, PJ slowly regained her confidence in herself, started realizing she wasn't the screwup she assumed her family thought she was. I felt for her, but could tell that she was amazing even before she realized she was. And Colin, oh Colin - I'm not normally a big fan of scientist MMCs, because they tend to be stiff and uptight, but Colin is just the sweetest, hottest nerd I've read in a long time. He and PJ are adorable together, have amazing chemistry, and I loved reading as they fell in love.

Cute and sweet audiobook LOVE YOU ANYWAY is Book 2 in the series of standalone novels, each with a happily ever after.
Is a swoony small-Town Age Gap Billionaire-Next-Door Romance that you will want to listen

Narrated by Hannah Chiclana and
AAron Donahue who both did amazingly good in bringing the Characters in this story to life .
These two narrating this story made it an absolute

Colin Hathaway
Hot nerdy billionaire who was hiding out at Buttercup Hill because of a media fallout..
after meeting his BestFriend little sister who he was immediately attracted.
Colin saw not only her beauty but was in awe also by her inner strength and the way how she would stand up to him..
yes he was definitely enamored not only by the beautiful vineyards but by the beautiful PJ !
To say that Colin was infatuated would be an understatement as he subtly pursued the gorgeous woman despite the warnings from his best friend and the warnings in his head.

Blurb
🧡🍇🐞After losing his cool on camera, tech’s most eligible bachelor is hiding out in Buttercup Hill, getting a two-week taste of small town life while driving me crazy with that gorgeous smile and those deep blue eyes.

But I need to keep my distance. Not only is he ten years older and my brother’s college best friend, but I’m busy fending off the vultures trying to take over our family winery–and my siblings are just waiting for their little sister’s next bad decision.🧡🍇🐞

PJ
The little sister who her siblings don’t take seriously despite her daily input at the meetings about the vineyards as the PR person.. she felt unseen most times but this time there is someone who sees HER.
Colin. The gorgeous billionaire Nerd who showed up and turned her life invading her every space and taking up her every thought with his beautiful self.
But the thing is she doesn’t want to act on her feelings because he is her brother’s BestFriend!

🍇🐞🧡
🧡🍇🐞 Unfortunately, Colin is everywhere I turn.
But what if I love him anyway?🍇🐞

Again this story was brought to life when Hannah and Aaron get together and give it their all … it was pure perfection listen this one showcasing the nuances of life of not feeling seen or feeling as if they are enough.
Once again Stacy Travis brought out the feels and banter in this story about the small town beauty and the nerdy billionaire coming together at beautiful Buttercup Hill Farm.

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧Charming & Heartwarming!

Love You Anyway
Buttercup Hill, Book 2
By: Stacy Travis
Narrated by: Hannah Chiclana, Aaron Donaghue

It is great to be back in Stacy Travis’ “Buttercup Hill” series for another fabulous romance novel, a brother’s best nerdy billionaire and his friend’s younger sister romance. Buttercup Hill Vineyards, a vineyard in Napa, owned and operated by the Corbetts, and each book in the series features a different sibling, and this second book is the youngest daughter, Penelope June, aka PJ or Junebug. She is the public relations coordinator for the family business, the fixer of all and also a spitfire, not afraid to speak her mind. Colin Hathaway, an astrophysicist and self-made billionaire, is Archers good friend and former college roommate, and when Colin needs to get away from it all and stay low key, so Archer offers him one of their cabins. PJ and Colin have a somewhat awkward first meet, but he found her intriguing, and it was clear from the start that there was an undeniable chemistry between them, but he knew he needed to steer clear, not only because of who she was but because of the baggage he brings. Colin is career focused and does not have time for a relationship and PJ is not looking for one, but the two can not stay away from each other and they could only deny themselves for so long. It was great to watch these two get to know each other and see their relationship morph into something more, despite neither one wanting it, all is good until he needs to get back to his life, and as a nerdy workaholic he is not relationship material, but if you want something bad enough, you make it happen even if you have to compromise, if he does not blow it with her first. I adored these two and was rooting for them the entire time. This wonderfully plotted, multilayered story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, charming humor and witty dialogue, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. The Corbetts are still trying to figure out what their father did with the money and they are finally on to something after discovering something very interesting. I am looking forward to seeing where that goes and for the next book in the series, Dash’s story. Stacy Travis, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Hannah Chiclana and Aaron Donaghue’s wonderful performance continues and they do an amazing job bringing the characters to life, humanizing them with their personality and giving each a voice that suits them perfectly. Chiclana was a natural in her role as PJ, handled her witty dialogue with ease and never missed a beat, and Donaghue was just as fabulous in his role as Colin. Both were fantastic performing the roles of the secondary characters too. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they capture all the characters’ emotions and have you feeling each one. These two voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

“I wish the sight of him didn’t turn my insides to what feels like flaming maple syrup, flooding my senses and telling me they want more. Much more. Of him. Up close.”

🍷 Small Town Wine Country
🍷 Brother's Best Friend
🍷 Age Gap (H 36, h 26)
🍷 Billionaire
🍷 Forced Proximity
🍷 HEA

PJ and Colin completely surpassed my expectations and I loved watching their story unfold. PJ handled the PR for her family's winery and had to deal with her father's illness, the company's finances and rumors of vultures wanting to purchase Buttercup Hill. Meanwhile, Colin, the genius astrophysicist and reluctant billionaire, was hiding away in Napa Valley trying to manage the fallout from some poorly worded public statements he had made in regards to the environmental impact of his work.

Both competitive by nature, PJ and Colin challenged each other and I loved their snarky banter and the way they got under each other's skin. Everything was perfect from the morning coffee orders and chess matches to the private helicopter rides and stargazing. PJ was exactly the kind of strong, independent FMC I love. I absolutely swooned over Colin and I loved how he saw PJ, really saw her for who she was, opening himself up to the possibility of investing in a relationship. Just the right amount of possessive without being over the top, Colin fit with PJ so flawlessly and naturally. The vulnerability they showed as they explored what could be between them warmed my heart and I wanted nothing more than for them to give into their feelings without anything holding them back.

“Because if I thought I could have you the way I want to, I wouldn’t be able to stop.”

“Who says I’d want you to stop?”

Colin was only supposed to be in Napa for two weeks so what would happen when they wanted more than just a temporary fling? Uncertainty and doubt shadowed their thoughts as unexpected media attention threatened to destroy everything. How could PJ fit into Colin's world and would Colin ever find a balance between work and his personal life?

Ultimately, this was a story about embracing the infinite possibilities of love and finding the person who makes you prioritize what's truly important in life. It was a story about rediscovering the joy in the simple things and about believing in yourself and in your self-worth. There's an underlying storyline that runs through the series so I would recommend reading from the beginning to get the full picture. PJ's family dynamics are so easy to get wrapped up in. And the sneak peek at the next couple sounds like it's going to be epic!

“You’re all I want. I look at you and I see the future.”

Stacy Travis is still fairly new to me and I can’t get enough of her books with each of them I read, the more I fall in love with her writing, her characters and her ability to write a story that is so easy to fall in to and lose myself in and so easy to forget is fiction. If more of her books are similar to the last couple I have read, I can see her as being one of my new favourite authors/auto one-click

Love You Anyway is the second book in the Buttercup Hill series and this book follows PJ and her brother’s best friend Colin… And boy, oh, boy was I swooning over this man!

Anyone that knows me knows that I am obsessed with the small town romance trope and when written well there is just a sense of comfort, love, a feel of home, closeness and family that you can’t really get from any other tropes and this was written to perfection in my opinion and I am completely head over heels in love with PJ and Colin’s relationships. Not only was this a small-town romance, but the author mixed it in with an age gap (He’s 10 years older) and
This was a small-town romance, yes but the author also threw in a little forbidden love. Colin is PJ’s brother’s best friend which may make for a little bit of messiness.

When PJ and Colin first meet, it is evident that there was chemistry between the two of them and they had no idea who each other were when they first met each other.

After finding out PJ is his best friend’s little sister and the fact that PJ’s big brother gives off overprotective big brother vibes he should be stepping back but they can’t seem to stop thinking about each other and the more they try to stay away from each other but it is becoming impossible, even though PJ’s is “off limits”

I loved these two so much! PJ was so kindhearted, funny and full of sass and Colin was so sweet, and swoony and can make any girl weak at the knees!

This was such a heartfelt and beautiful story! These two weren’t looking for love at the time but the fact that they found it in each other makes that much more special. They had their fair share of hurdles to get through which only made them stronger.

I’m so glad I’ve discovered this author. I can’t wait to see what else is up her sleeve!

Love You Anyway by Stacy Travis, and once again brilliantly narrated by Hannah Chiclana and Aaron Donahue, is a captivating and sweet romance that continues to build on the charm of the Buttercup Hill series. While it is the second book, it can easily be read as a standalone.

This installment focuses on PJ, the sassy and underestimated youngest Corbett sibling who manages the family winery's public relations, and Colin Hathaway, a billionaire astrophysicist and her older brother's college best friend. PJ is currently battling vultures circling the family business due to a missing sum of money, all while feeling like her siblings still view her as the unserious, young one.

Their romance is packed with appealing tropes: billionaire, brother's best friend, age gap, and close proximity. After losing his cool on camera, Colin moves into a cottage next door to PJ at the Napa Valley winery for a two-week hideout. Their story kicks off with a charming coffee shop meet-cute and a game of chess, before either realizes their connection. PJ is instantly drawn to Colin's nerdy, yet undeniably sexy, brilliance, while Colin is captivated by her upfront and real personality.

The inevitable close proximity leads to a secret relationship, filled with white-hot heat and undeniable chemistry. Colin is a workaholic, and PJ helps him slow down and enjoy life, while his steady support boosts her confidence, making her realize her true worth to the family business. I loved how Colin, the brilliant, hot nerdy billionaire, defends her in front of her family, making her feel smart, beautiful, and worthy.

Though the majority of the romance unfolds over a rapid two-week period, the connection is instantly convincing. Their journey is a perfect blend of witty banter, tender moments, and sizzling romance, all set against the gorgeous, authentic backdrop of the Napa Valley vineyard, which truly serves as a third character. The author seamlessly blends heart-tugging moments with humor, wrapping up an engaging, unputdownable page-turner with a happily ever after. I truly loved this story and can't wait for more in the series!

This was a new-to-me author so I had no idea what to expect. What did I get? A brilliant, smart, sassy writing style that kept my attention from page 1.

This story is set in the Napa Valley, one of my personal favorite places, so I was really looking forward to reading this book. There’s a family owned winery that has become a multimillion dollar enterprise but it may also now be in financial trouble. Our heroine, PJ, is the “fixer.” She solves public relations problems and is the youngest of 5 siblings, many times not taken very seriously. She’s trying to prove herself, daily.

PJ meets Colin Hathaway in the coffee shop where she is waiting to get her morning coffee. This meet cute scene is priceless. Colin is such a nerd and PJ has no patience. The billionaire, nerdy aero tech giant is also best friends with PJ’s oldest brother, Archer. He’s hiding out for a couple of weeks at his best friend’s winery after a PR nightmare he himself created for his company. What he didn’t expect was to find the attractive, smart mouthed, younger sister of his best friend so gorgeous and irresistible. Oh and they certainly don’t start out as friends.

I loved so much about Colin and PJ’s story.

* Trying to keep their increasing mutual attraction away from her siblings.

* The constant interruptions to their attempts to act on their physical attraction to each other. Of course when things finally do heat up it’s a fireball of steamy times! Whew.

* Colin supporting PJ and his annoyance at her siblings for treating her as the “baby sister.” He really SEES HER and tells her just that.

* PJ’s eventual understanding of Colin, his wants, needs, and the real man behind the billionaire mask.

But the very best part of this complicated relationship comes when Colin messes up and has to make a grand gesture. The hardest fought HEA on the planet! Or MARS.

"She’s the prettiest woman I think I’ve ever seen, even if that mouth and her attitude should make me dislike her." — Colin Hathaway 🤍

"I’m not the sexy, brainy woman Colin Hathaway has been waiting for all his life. I’m his friend’s younger sister and temporary neighbor. End of story." — PJ Corbett 🤍

"How can holding someone’s hand make me feel like my entire body has been invaded by twirling butterflies and tiny beams of light? It’s such a basic gesture, yet I can’t even recall whether the previous men I dated ever did it." — PJ Corbett 🤍

“That’s not the point. The point is…I like him, Mare. And that’s pretty inconvenient considering I haven’t even kissed him, and he’s leaving in a week.” — PJ Corbett 🤍

"She’s different from anyone I’ve ever met, and not just because she doesn’t give a shit about my bank account. Her radiance comes from within, and her easy, joyous spirit is so genuine that it makes me want to be a better person." — Colin Hathaway 🤍

"I hear PJ’s laughter coming from somewhere inside the restaurant. It’s like windchimes calming my nerves in the late afternoon breeze. I can’t see her, but knowing she’s near enough for me to hear her drives home the feeling I can’t shake—that I want more of her." — Colin Hathaway 🤍

“I don’t know how to ask you to forgive me. You didn’t deserve how I treated you, and I know you believe people don’t think you’re enough, but I’m here to say that couldn’t be farther from the truth. You’re more than enough. You’re everything.” — Colin Hathaway 🤍

As I delved into Love You Anyway, I found myself immersed in a world where love, forgiveness, and self-discovery intertwine. The novel's narrative resonated with me on a personal level, drawing me into a story filled with heartwarming moments and relatable characters.

Travis' writing style immediately captured my attention, painting vivid scenes and crafting authentic dialogue that brought the characters to life. I connected deeply with Penelope (PJ) and Colin, feeling their struggles and growth as if they were my own. The themes of resilience and second chances struck a chord within me, reminding me of the power of love to heal wounds and mend relationships.

The characters in the book felt like friends I've known for years, each with their own unique stories and vulnerabilities. PJ's journey to prove herself at the family winery and Colin's unexpected feelings for her kept me engaged throughout the story. Their relationship blossomed amidst challenges, showcasing the beauty of vulnerability and acceptance.

Love You Anyway is more than just a romance novel; it's a mirror reflecting aspects of my own life journey. Stacy Travis has crafted a compelling tale that touched my heart and left me reflecting on the complexities of human relationships. This book is a testament to the beauty of embracing imperfections and finding love in unexpected places.

I wholeheartedly recommend Love You Anyway to anyone seeking a heartfelt read that explores love, forgiveness, and the resilience of the human spirit. Dive into this small-town romance with an open heart and let it take you on a journey of self-discovery and redemption.

We are back to Buttercup Hill Winery and boy has a lot of things changed. We see the whole gang back even little Fiona but finally see PJ, Archer's little sister and somewhat the jokester in the family well used to be. It is because of her past that she works hard to be taken seriously within her family. Then we have Colin, a man who is just trying to be normal instead of the all serious workaholic he is. Two people opposite from each other, yet in a way Stacy Travis makes these two perfect in every way. One is trying to be something she has no idea who to be or where to start and the other is trying to know what's it's like to be average. It is true what they say work, work and more work will make you well boring. The thing is Colin is a billionaire, hot and sexy in a way that PJ has no idea how compete in his world. PJ is exactly what he needs to shake his world and restart his heart again. I loved that PJ is not about his money but really what he can do to make a change and make the world better in a way. One thing for sure the Corbetts are definitely a family full of secets and boy interested to see where Stacy Travis will take this family business now. I loved seeing PJ becoming who she is and finally making her voice be heard with the family and Colin is just the perfect man to show her that it's not the outside that matters but who you reall are in the inside. Loved it.
