I have been reading this series since book 2 released, and my standards have been eclipsed every time. I love this series and will continue to read it. My only regret is that there is only about 1 book every six months and I really hope that the books will be released more frequently.
This tome explores some the geopolitics and governmental in fighting as an alien ship is shot down over Greenland and US and UK special forces square off to possess the alien ship, also the return of one of the main characters of the first three books as she assesses her life after her ordeal. Full of action, if you have enjoyed the previous books this one is a keeper.
I enjoyed hearing about how the existing characters grew. Which was different from some of the other books in this series. It was cool to see that there appears to be different groups of aliens too. They arnt United just like humans arnt United. Good comparison.
Tides of Redemption introduces the British military into the fight. It also brings back several great characters that have not been seen recently. The story is exciting and reads well. Definitely a series worth reading.
After 6 books we finally get a look into how the rest of the world look at America after the events of the Russian-Basvo war but good are bad soldiers will always trump politics if it mean cutting some FISH
