It was the night of the auction. I never thought things would come to this. I was the fiancée and sub to the great Vincent Forbes-Stuart, businessman and well respected member of the community. Well at least to anyone that didn’t know him.
In reality, he was an alcoholic, drug addicted, abuser of women, and I needed to get away. Club Lust was my way out of this abusive relationship. My one hope of walking away with five-hundred-thousand dollars, or if I was lucky, find another Dom to look after and care for me.
Tonight and this weekend was my final chance at salvation. If everything went my way, I would still be alive at the end of the week. If not, well that didn’t bear thinking about. What I didn’t count on was knowing the man that bought me and what he had in store for me. Let’s say, life in the bedroom would never be the same again.

I freaking loved this! I honestly didn't know where this was headed. It kinda had a different vibe but fit in so well with this shared universe. The dynamics between Gaby/Angel, Hudson, and Nico were off the charts. I do wish we could have learned more about Nico, but I absolutely love him. I'm so looking forward to more and checking out more of Clarice Jayne's books!
I’m rating this book a 4.5. Went into this book completely blind thinking it was about Angel and Hudson but to doing a turnaround and becoming almost a reverse harem. With that being said it made the storyline so much more interesting. Nico and Hudson are everything you would be looking for within a mafia. Gaby aka Angel deserves so much better and she’s getting it. I can’t wait to see the conclusion of Angels story. I gave the story a 4.5 because I felt like some parts were rushed or wasn’t explained more which made some of story not make sense.
Gabriella went out to club lust one night to meet a friend who never showed up. She was sitting at a table when I guy walked up to her. Hudson and her had hit it off. He told her he would be right back he had to tell his brother not to wait for him. When he came back she was gone. Turns out another guy Vincent came up to her. He told her that she should stay away from him. He wasn’t a nice Dom. He even had one of the waitresses confirm it. So she believed them. When Hudson came back to see she had left he asked a waitress which turned out to be the same one she told him what happened. He let it go but he never stopped thinking about her. She stayed with Vincent the whole time. Well 5 years later an opportunity came up for her to try to make an escape. He was not very good to her and he was abusive in multiple ways. She was accepted into the auction and hoped this would help. She was told by Vincent that Mikhail was to get her for the weekend that was her whole reason for going because Vincent owed Mikhail a lot of money and she was responsible for paying off his debt. She hated it but what choice did she have. She ended up being bought by Hudson by she didn’t know it until he walked into the room. She was shocked but really happy. She never stopped thinking about him for the 5 years. Everything changed after that. A lot of ups and downs. This was really good.
Enjoyed this one. I really liked Angel (Gabriella) and just felt instantly connected to her from the very beginning. I also really loved the guys. I found them to be super respectful, they were protective and possessive but in a healthy kind of way. All they want to do is love her and treat her like a princess and thats exactly what they did.
She went through Hell and suffered a lot so to find men like Nico and Hud that only want what's best for her was amazing. I felt like she had a really good connection with them. They took their time, especially her and Nico, to develop their feelings more before even getting intimate which definitely made their connection stronger.
Im definitely gonna read the next book. Need more of her relationship with the guys. Also bc of what was happening at the end I definitely need more info on that and see how everything is gonna work out.
There was a couple of other stuff happening behind the scenes that I'm not gonna lie I barely paid any mind to. I was mostly focused on her and her men and everything else was not important to me.
In this book of A Night to Remember Auction we meet Gaby also affectionately known as Angel. She went through a dramatic past with her fiance abusing her. She signs up for the auction to get away from him and with the hopes of finding better!
We also meet Hudson and Nico. Hudson has loved Gaby since he met her years prior at a club. Thinking it was over since she was now engaged he decides to go to the auction with hopes of meeting his forever sub. Nico and Hudson are in a relationship and they both want a woman they can share.
What happens when you have a weekend with the Dom of your dreams and his best friend. You end up falling in love with him!! In this book it talks about abuse and leaves you rooting for the good guys!
This does end in a cliffy and it definitely makes you want more! I can't wait to read the second book to this duet!
OMG Gabys story literally just sucks you right in! This felt way different than the other books so far because it’s not very focused as much on the auction BUT I love the fact there is a book two coming out soon to finish out the story! I legit inhaled this book and was STRESSED when I saw how much was left but it felt like the story wasn’t complete. However when we get to the end we find out there’s another book and I cannot wait!
If you want a book that takes you completely by surprise, then this is that book.
Nico and Hudson are everything you would want in mafia men. Our Angel found salvation with them, because she knew she deserved better, and now, she’s getting it.
The dynamics between Nico, Hudson and Gaby worked. Their lifestyle was unique to them. Their relationship isn’t defined by their past, but by what each person brings, solidifying, bringing everything together and making them stronger.
The open and honest communication between them will warm your hearts, the love and acceptance that they show each other was a defining moment.
This author is a first for me and one I would highly recommend.
I received an ARC. Therefore I am submitting a voluntary review.
Hudson and gaby meet a club and the same night gaby meets Vincent. Hudson leaves her briefly just to let his brother know he was leaving with her. Vincent gets to her before Hudson returns and already starts his lies and manipulation. From that night he spends years turning her into his sub but also abusing her both mentally and physically. She feels stuck. He gets her into the auction as a way to pay off some of his debts. She finally sees a way out. Hudson never forgot Gaby. And when he sees her on the auction block he realizes this is finally his chance. What happens when Vincent doesn’t want to let her go? How does Hudson’s life long friend who also serves and his driver, Chef, security… maybe more fit in???? Well Hudson convince Gaby to stay with him. How does Nico fit in with the them? At the end we meet Gino and learned more is to come. Can’t wait to meet more about him and how he fits.
This book was great and very descriptive and interesting characters. Angel definitely has a touch run being with Vincent. That is until she went to the auction. That’s where all the interesting yummy spice comes in. This book has some sad things in it and also some action . Not only that but multiple love interest .
This series is just so good and Buying Angel is no exception. I’m an insta-love girlie and this has it. I love the way Angel’s relationships build; the chemistry Clarice Jayne creates makes my insta-love heart swoon. And the spice is spicing! I don’t want to spoil anything so this is hard to write! I love a good D/s relationship and there is definitely one in this book. And I love a previous, fully built MM relationship- so good! It’s lovely and hot AF. There are a number of potential triggers for folks in this, please heed the warnings. They are throughout the book so it’s not something you can skip if those are your triggers. It is an emotional read and I did cry a couple times. I’m very excited for the follow up in this duet! I did receive and ARC for this book and this is my honest review! Highly recommend this book and the series so far!
Firstly Clarice Jayne is a new author to me and this book will not be the last that I read of hers.
This book just blew me away, as for me the angle it took from the others was different. This book is not just simply about Gaby and Hudson reconnecting after years of having a brief intense encounter but becomes so much more. This book turns into a reverse harem with a depth of a multiple relationship within the group.
This book can be summed up as steamy on a high level, intense, emotional and character building within the group. This book has MM elements and group elements. This is book 1 of a duet, and book 2 leads to some promising spice and fun.
Warning of content and triggers in this book, be aware, mental health first.
I call this a second chance because that’s what it is. A second chance, at love, at redemption, at finding that HEA, and most of all, being safe. We don’t end in a cliffhanger per se, but be warned the story isn’t over at the end. It will be a duet so keep an eye out in the future for book 2.
I fell in love with the characters, they became my friends, and I am glad I’ll be able to reunite with them soon. Some parts are not for the weak, situations of trauma that some might feel is too close to home, but every storm, eventually the sun does come out.
I am so excited to read A Night to Remember series. Not only am I able to read some great works by authors I already know and love, but I also get introduced to new authors and their fantastic books. Buying Angel by Clarice Jayne is one of those books. I love the premise of Gaby/Rosa and Hudson getting a second chance to have a relationship and the trust and bond the two develop with Nico. The storyline is so strong, it drags you in and refuses to let you go. I am really looking forward to reading book 2 and seeing how all the relationships develop. I will definitely be reading more of Clarice's books from here on out.
Buying Angel is written by Clarice Jayne and is the fourth book in the A Night To Remember Auction series that is written by several different authors each one writing a different stand alone story.
Gabriella-Rose decided to go to a club that her friend recommended to her. They were supposed to meet at the club, but her friend never showed up. Two men approach her and she must choose which one to go home with. Flash forward five years, she knows she needs to do this auction. The money she gets at the end will help her escape her situation. Will everything work out in her favor? Will she be able to get away? Will the person who wins her be nice to her for the weekend? If she does escape, what will life be like for her?
Gabriella-Rose put herself in a bad predicament. I like how the author gave some depth and background as to what she had been through in the five year jump from the prologue to the main story. It’s interesting how the story unfolded and things started to come together. I can’t wait to see what other stories come out in this series.
The next book in the night to remember auction series is angels story. She went to a club to find herself a dom, but unfortunately she was misled and has spent the last five years in a relationship with a monster. But hope comes in the form of the auction. She let's Vincent think its his idea for her to join, but she's got a plan. What she didn't account for was the person getting for the weekend would be someone she knew. Hudson and nico have been searching for a partner for awhile now and on his brothers word he goes to the auction. This story is a whirlwind of action. The spice was nice and I love the why choose aspect and of course the MM relationship. There is a slight cliffhanger, but it's not too bad. Overall it was a good story.
I absolutely love this series. It has been so great with the first three books and then this one. I absolutely love it. Gabriela was so strong and showed courage in her determination to get out of what she felt was not right for her. I absolutely loved it
Very rarely do I get emotional involved in a character's story. But there is something about Gabriella-Rose, a.k.a Angel, that pulled me in. Her innocence and beauty is a beacon to people. I can understand how Hudson and Nico are drawn to her.
The steamy scenes between them made me flustered. I imagine what Hudson's voice sounds like when he is controlling her in the playroom. My favorite scene is when he is directing Nico and Gaby. I have two words to describe that scene. I will quote from Paris Hitlon, "That's Hot!"
I can't wait for the second book to come out about their story.
Sent to the auction by her abusive fiance/dom Gabby (Angel) hopes to be able to use the money/weekend to escape him. She was the one that got away to Hudson and initially the auction was a way for him to finally move on instead he got her. I loved the dynamic and relationship between him and Nico. Overall it was a quick read with some super spicy BDSM scenes. I loved the focus on aftercare the author had too. Some points I wish were expanded on a bit but I really enjoyed the story. It was another great addition into the Night to remember universe and I look forward to seeing where book two of this one goes.
Another amazing book in the series. A dark BDSM romance that has Gabriella being forced to the Auction by her abusive boyfriend for the money. Hudson and Nico were so sweet and caring towards her. I loved the relationship the men had with each other. A MM/MMF read which was steamy, emotional and drama filled. Can't wait to read book 2 of this duet.
I instantly connected with the characters. Gaby is a total powerhouse, and her story is so moving and intense. It’s tough to read about her struggles, but her clever escape plan is genius.
Hudson is the sweetest, always looking out for Gaby and Nico. And Nico is just awesome, especially his bond with Gaby. I’m so hyped for book two and can't wait to see how their journey unfolds! 🌟
This is the next book in the A Night To Remember Auction series. Such a good book! I loved Angel so much. She deserved so much better and she absolutely got it! I can’t wait to continue the rest of the books!
I am just loving this A Night To Remember Auction series! Angel (Gaby) decides to try out a club because she wants to be in a D/s relationship, but she's hoping to find someone who will be willing to teach her. Hudson is enamored with Angel after one look, but Victor moves in quicker with a lie or two. Hudson finally gets his chance when he sees her at the auction. After what Angel has been through, Gaby deserves better. And then there's Hudsons driver/bodyguard Nico. Wow. Great book, and I definitely recommend it!
Buying Angel is the fourth installment in the A night to remember auction series. This was another good installment to that series.
Gaby is the main female character. She has been through a lot which is heavily hinted at in the beginning of the book. This is her chance to get out of the horrors she’s facing.
Hudson and Nico are the male main characters. They are a couple and I do enjoy seeing the history between the two of them. I do wish there was more of Nico in this story. Gaby was the one who got a way in Hudson’s eyes and it shows in the story.
This was a very quick read. There is heavy emotions in the story and there was connection and chemistry amongst the characters. It is ended with a part 2 coming later. So it is to wonder how Gab’s story ends
This is the fourth standalone in A Night to Remember Auction shared world and the first book in the Angel Duet. It is a MMF mafia romance. Gaby needs to get away from her abusive ex and the auction is her ticket. Hudson never thought he would find the right woman but then he sees Angel in the auction and everything changes. This book is spicy but also has quite a bit of plot. It ends in a HFN but continues in Angel’s Forever. I can’t wait to read it.
Gabriella is sent to the auction by her abusive fiance to pay off his debts. Hudson is sent to the auction by his brother, who hopes he can find love like he did. Neither of them was expecting to see the other at the auction. For Hudson, Gaby is the one who got away. This is a second chance of sorts, poly, mafia romance. There's a lot of action in this one, and there's also more of their story to come!
What a rush, I’m still on a high from this story. From start to finish I was entranced in Angels world. I shed a few tears, had some good laughs, and some anxiety during certain parts. All of that made for a great story however that ending left me wanting more.
Book four in the A Night to Remember Auction shared world. Clarice is another new to me author I have found in this shared world. You can tell a lot of research and/or knowledge went into D/s dynamics and the lifestyle. Definitely read trigger warnings. The overall story was good. The relationship between the FMC and MMC1 was a little unbelievable as a second chance instalove whereas the relationship with MMC2 was more natural as it developed over a couple of weeks. The spicy scenes were well written and evenly paced. Overall great read and I am looking forward to pt. 2.
I love how each of these is a truly unique story! Love how this couple finally makes it back to each other after thinking they missed their chance 5 years prior.
This was a complete new to me author due to this shared world. I really liked the plot line and the story was okay. Characters were pretty good.
Gaby has been auctioned off, basically to pay off debts from her fiancé. She gets a second chance with a man she met 5 years ago for like 3.5 seconds but it’s like “the one that got away”. The relationship with Nico was much better, it evolved into a relationship.
