Long ago, Jo Harrison decided she had minimal talent for being a woman, so she worked hard to be the best man she could be. She’s a world class shearer, a knowledgeable farmer and a dedicated hunter of wild pigs and deer.
She wants to earn enough money to buy back the farm next door to hers. The two farms were once a single entity and Jo’s lush river flats are the perfect complement to the rugged high country of the other holding..

There should be a special category just for stories like this one that deserve more than a mere 5 stars. Awesome character development, just enough spice to make it real, the dialogue believable, the editing clean, and a touch of suspense, angst, and even a bit of jealousy. This story has everything that romance entails between a strong alpha male and an even more stubbornly headstrong female heroine. I definitely want more from this author!

Wish I was stranded
What an adventure! Just loved the journey from enemies to lovers, so intense and very dramatic. Every minute of the read was enticing.
