Grace takes a holiday, from years of caring for her mother. Carter is going back to the home of his family. The loss of his baby brother, when her was eight. Has haunted him.

Strong sense of place which doesn't slow down story. Characters strongly grounded in conflict.

Grace found herself agreeing to a fake marriage to Carter. As they spent more time together she realised that this was in love with Carter. Carter meanwhile wanted nothing to do with love but could not resist Grace. Gradually Carter realised that What he was feeling was love and he had to be brave to tell Grace so that they could find their happily ever after.
