Why isn’t this a regular 200-400 page book? Why do you have buy three little books instead? The story continues exactly where the first book ended ! It’s not 3 different stories, it is like they ripped a full size book into three sections that you buy separately ????
FB is our family’s favorite beach and fast getaway spot. We travel there as often as possible, as it is only 2.5hr away from. It was where I vacationed growing up, my great-uncle owned a beach-front prior to Hurricane Hugo, it wasn’t destroyed like many housed but it had to have a huge facelift and his children had to take over the care of the property. It became too much and had to eventually be sold. I wish I had been a little older and had been in a financial position to obtain that family property so I could have had my own little “cottage”. It was fun reading about my favorite beach town although it has grown so much since I was a kid. I still love it!! It’s a great series but it blows my mind that people can live a double life and families never know until they pass on.
I will say, aside from the location of the story not matching the real location where this is supposedly taking place, the characters weren’t as bad as part one. The actions and behaviors still don’t quite match their ages, but it’s definitely not as annoying the further into this story I get.
I am very anxious to find out what Melanie is hiding and look forward to pt 3 than I did pt 2.
Jenna is settling in at Folly Beach and thinking about staying. She has meet Daniel and finds a kindred spirit. Jenna also realizes that her instincts about Melanie are true. Melanie may be her half sister but there is something wrong. Can she find the answers before something happens?
This was yet another great read. But it has me wondering what is going on with Melanie. Could she be the one who is making all the trouble around Folly Beach. Looking forward to see what happens next
Only 3 stars. I’m continuing with the 6 books because nothing gets resolved. Hoping it will all be explained in the last one. It has a rather flaky plot and is simply written.
The story line is engaging. Draws you in and you don’t want your stop reading. Short reads so far, not sure why not written in one large fiction novel.
