PB: 25 Grandfather's Lovesong. What a great story about a Grandpa's love for his grandchildren and it shows how special they are to children. The pictures are beautifully drawn and relate quite well to the words of the story. There is never a dull moment when I'm with my Grandpa because his stories and his love out shown through each and every conversation. After reading this for the first time, it makes me appreciate the relationship I have with my Grandpa so much more! A must read for anybody who has a Grandpa or even a grandparent who they love!

Another great find from St. Andrew's booksale: my copy is autographed! Incidentally this is the 2nd autographed Reeve Lindbergh book I've acquired second-hand.

Vibrant illustrations. The autumnal scene and lighthouse are my favorites.

Each spread has a four-line verse (aaba and all beginning with the words "I love you . . .") and an outdoor illustration worthy of framing as a grandfather and his grandchild wander through various settings and seasons. Readers can feel the bond and love between the two.
