A really funny read that's the perfect book for anyone who's feeling a little bit down on men. Some neat advice and some that's hilariously impractical.

This was a relatively long self-help book although it is very funny and comical and very relatable although somethings come across very cliche and stereotyping although this book did seem very cut and dry humour which is nice especially within these books as they are just trying to give tips and tricks rather than telling you that you need to do better be better et cetera

Dear lord
I got about 10 pages into what I assume is supposed to be “satire” and although it’s well written and in a humorous manner, the amount of terrible gender stereotypes is appalling. Not for me whatsoever.

This was published in 2007, so it is a little outdated, but the book was clever. Too bad TP-T isn’t around to provide a revised addition. I did enjoy both Tara and Sharon’s personal stories.

Nützlicher Ratgeber sollte ich mal in einer Folge von „Gossip Girl“ aufwachen.

Super satirical and well-written by TPT and Sharon Marshall. A perfect reminder not to take life too seriously and that things could always be worse. Sharp, funny and a lovely, light read.

I have no idea how far the tongue goes in the cheek, and how much some folk would take seriously, but I find it a right giggle.

I am not a big fan of self-help books but this one really amused me because ``it`` talks to you in a personal way, makes fun of you in a constructive way and it totally makes you feel good.
Put your Loubotin’s on , pour a Martini, lay down and learn the Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and Sharon Marshall`s rules. In this book the girls take you on an adventure on which you will accept the fact that you got dumped / you were cheated on , you will cry , you will get your revenge and you will finally be happy. So what if he dumped you ?! That bastard doesn`t know what he`s missing. You will be explained that if you want to self-pity it`s okay , if you want to drink your loss it`s okay and if you want to get revenge that`s perfectly fine !! But enough is enough and you have to pull yourself together, throw the chocolates away , remove your “cried” make-up , shave your legs and go into the world. You will pass through a lot of awful moments like Valentine`s day and if you`ll be alone you have to send yourself some flowers this way you won`t be the freak of the office right ? If you can get pass this period and you will fall in love , enjoy but don’t brag because you`ve been there done that and you don`t have to throw it at your girlfriends faces especially if they are still in faze one of self-pity.
The books doesn`t help you very much except if you are a crazy lady with cats but it`s hella FUN !
Conclusion: How naughty are you ?!

Have you ever wanted to be less of a Good Girl? Want to discover that naughty side? Well, in that case this book is right for you... It covers topics like "What should I do if my lover doesn't return my calls?" to "How do I hitch-hike on a private jet?" to "Is my bottom too big?".

I'm sure many of us want to know the answers to those.

This book provides them. It's full of laugh-out-loud cheek, there are checklists for those of you who need to be in control, and it will definately make you smile (maybe you'll even develop a cheeky/evil chuckle).

Read this if you need a laugh, but between all the funny nonesense there's also the odd grain of truth, so beware...

It’s hard to say whether this book was intended to be taken seriously or not.

Because while it touches on the subjects that any self-respecting magazine covers bi-monthly (is my bottom too big? And, which is more important, a man or the girls?), the answers are usually funny , and at times bizarre, and you can choose whether to act as the book suggests or ignore its tips.

Even if you choose the later, you’re still holding a highly entertaining book in your hand.

All right book. Some nonsense and isn't really a self help book, but is entertaining, and some little bits of insightful useful tips.
