There are so many spelling and grammatical errors in this book. At one point, even one of the characters name was spelled two different ways - Sydney/Sidney. Also, Kelsey’s partner’s name, John was switched with the killer’s name, Robert. Kate needs a new proof reader.
This book was an easy read and a good continuation for Special Agent Hawk. However, the spelling errors, grammar errors, and the complete swapping/addition of names was rough to read. I don’t know if there was no editor or a terrible one, but the errors were absolutely atrocious.
FBI special agent Kelsey Hawk she's tracking a killer. Would she ever get the chance to look into her family's murders? She's always liked working alone. She's not a people person, but that's changing. This is a story that you can't help but get involved in the plot. Thank you Kate Bold.
This is my 3rd book in the series. I love the main characters and the small town settings. Very well done and I have yet to guess who the killer was. This one was more realistic and I am liking the relationship forming with her partner. Stories are easy to read and filled with action at a good pace. I will have to get the next one.
This is a fun little series that kinda reminds me of like a criminal minds episode and I feel like we’re getting a little closer to finding out what happened to the main characters family, when she was 10 years old, they were all murdered, but she was left alive and it’s like a cover-up, but I think she’s getting somewhere. Can’t wait to listen to the next lol
Struggled with this read. Repetitive crime story plot. Always partners to lovers or someone they loved died so they became a cop and must find the killer in their spare time. I'll see how far in this series I make it. Maybe time for a new genre.
Third book in the series, strong female lead breaks the rules to solve multiple murders. Really enjoying this series and how the books flow from one to the next. Looking forward to the next part.
it was ok. hard to look past all the spelling mistakes. it was distracting. I still like the main character and will continue to move on to the next book.
