Bella
When my best friend Adrian welcomed me to his family estate for the holiday break, I never imagined he was born into such wealth. His family's estate dwarfed mine in size. With the absence of his family who had gone away for the week, we reveled in the luxury of it all and even more so when his older sister Taylor unexpectedly returned. She was a beautiful woman, one any man would desire to have by their side. But she was also a grumpy grouch and made it clear that I wasn't welcome there. Yet something in her mean demeanor indicated an underlying longing, a darkness -- the more I delved deeper into my own desires for Taylor, the closer I came to crossing a point of no return. No matter how hard I tried to deny it, I craved all of her... and was willing to risk everything to get it.Taylor
I stormed out of my parents' vacation home, fed up with their ignorance and short-sightedness. Returning home to find my brother Adrian ravaging the family estate with his gorgeous friend Bella, I was taken aback by her beauty and the temptation she brought into my life. But how could I let her know about the darkness that lurked inside me? The urge to have her consumed me, but every time I tried to push her away, she'd draw closer. Soon enough, she would realize what she had gotten herself into. Once she opened that door, there would be no going back. Bella is a sweet girl, but she's mine now. And she will be forever.

Everything inside of me is screaming to escape from this woman. A darkness lurks in her features, as if she's ready to tear me apart. I'm okay with that. Rip me to pieces, fuck me until I'm seeing stars!

Bella, what the fuck are you even saying Loca?
This was so chaotic. And not in a tehe, OMG it’s so chaotic how fun! kind of way but in a what-the-fuck-was-happening kind of way. The writing was messy, the plot was non-existent, the characters as flat as a piece of paper.

I don't want to taint her with my darkness. I'm intense, dependent, and possessive; if she gets too close, she won't get a moment away from me.

The ‘romance’ was insta-love, zero connection. They’ve known each other literally 2 days and are already at I love you. And I know I’ve already made a Twilight reference [with a character named Bella there is no escaping it, I don’t make the rules], but Taylor was trying so hard to give off Domme dangerous vibes, but really babes you’re giving “This is the skin of a killer, Bella”. There was nothing dark or dangerous about Taylor, she’s just clingy and possessive. And that’s her whole personality. Beyond Taylor being clingy and Bella being poor we know absolutely nada about anything. And all that mess is just about the characters.

Bella isn’t just a sweet girl, she’s an undercover sex goddess, destroying me with sheer pleasure.

I explode in cries of pleasure, gripping her wrists to try and stop her thrusts. Yet she keeps going, coaxing every ounce of pleasure out of me.

Pleasure. Pleasure pleasure pleeeh-suuuure. You know when you repeat a word and it suddenly starts losing all meaning? Ok, expand that feeling to the entirety of this book.
But seriously, not only was the writing just plain bad and horribly edited (I’ll get to that), it was annoyingly repetitive.

I gasp in horror, clutching my chest at the sight of Taylor.
“Oh!” I yelp, my hand flying to my chest.

Girl, are you doing the Macarena?
There were so many continuity errors, typos, weird phrases. It was so bad it was kinda funny. Other painful but hilarious examples:

I rake my fingers through my hair, vainly attempting not to give in to the tears that are streaming down my face.

I’m Italian so I might be wrong here, but if your trying to not give in to the tears, that means you aren’t crying yet, right? Am I dumb? If you have tears streaming down your face you’ve already lost the battle, Taylor.
Oh, here’s my fave:

“I love you, Bella.” She murmurs and I pull back, kissing her lovingly. “I love you too,” Adrian whispers as she kisses me back.

For context, in this scene it was just Taylor and Bella saying I love you for the upteenth time. Adrian, Taylor’s brother, was not with them. But man, I lost the battle to the tears too from fucking laughing because there’s this supposedly super emotional and romantic moment of them reconnecting after the melodramatic scene and BAM there’s Adrian whispering out of fucking nowhere I love you toooo, holy shit kinda jump scared me there like what are you doing here, bro??

So yeah, kinda funny but super bad, 0 out of 10 do not recommend.

Actual Rating: 0.5 Stars rounded up because I can’t give zero stars.

The writing was bad, the plot was bad. Everything about this was bad. I lived in absolute fear that there was going to be incest in this book for last twenty pages. I cannot think of a single positive thing about this book, even the smut was horrible. Like the smut is so bad I’m pretty sure the writer has never consumed any WLW content before writing the sex scenes for this piece.

The possessiveness of Taylor bothered me more than anything, especially the hands-on parts that were borderline abusive. Domme can be sexy, this was not.

This was atrocious. The writing was so bad, Taylor was so off putting as a character I almost didn’t finish this, but since it’s a novella I waited to see if it got better. It got worse. The INSTANT jealousy of Taylor was sooooo off putting. “Hands off she’s mine” before you’ve even spoken to her??? Come on. Justice for Bella because she was the only semi normal character in this book and she was manipulated by Taylor and Adrian for sure. This was just not good.

I wanted to like this as I love a billionaire romance but this is the second book I've read in this series and they felt like wattpad quality. There were a few grammatical errors (and once the best friends name was used instead of the love interest) which threw me off and while I typically don't care if a book is slowburn or insta love, this was instalove and it didn't feel like the relationship ever developed. Like it progressed, but there was no time where they got to know eachother or had a romantic moment, it was just sexual attraction.
This wasn't a bad book, it just wasn't good imo

Shortish story with few typos. I'm still confused who is dominant or not (or is someone dominant at all?! The one MC calls herself butch, but then the other calls her femme, hehh? The smut is ... The brother is WTF?

Well Jenna probably is steamy, the book wasn't really. But it was fast-paced, it was instalove. And since it was absurdly ridiculous, and the HEA is checked too, I gave it 3 stars. It is more 1.5*

I HATED this book. The story was fine mid tier at best, but the writing was atrocious for this one. There were so many times that the names of the characters were flipped, or the wrong POV, or they were doing one thing, and then all of a sudden, it was a totally different thing. It felt very much to me like one of the AI texting stories apps. I was shocked to see such a decline from book 2. I'm so glad these are th only two I have.

Sibling Rilvalry

This was nice - very heartfelt. Of course, you have the passionate, steamy, insta-love with Bella and Taylor, but then you also have the estranged family element with Taylor's brother, Adrian, who is also Bella's BFF. It added so much to the story with a wonderful HEA. Another good one! 👍👍👍

Taylor is an over the top obsessive billionaire and her sights are set on Bella her brother's best friend. Taylor and her brother Adrian are not close and he tells Bella to stay away from her. The two fall instantly for each other and Adrian is not happy and Bella runs away. Taylor will stop at nothing to find her and bring her make to make Bella hers.

This just wasn’t my cup of tea. I think I wanted more story and romance, but that’s my fault for not doing my research.
