Books can be attributed to "Anonymous" for several reasons:
* They are officially published under that name * They are traditional stories not attributed to a specific author * They are religious texts not generally attributed to a specific author
Books whose authorship is merely uncertain should be attributed to Unknown.
With the reading of Job, I completed my final volume of the five-set spiral-bound Bible journal, thereby completing my annual reading of the Bible.
Job is a fantastic way to end the reading of the Old Testament and Scripture as a whole. Even though it was likely the first written book of the Bible, it perfectly summarizes the narrative of Scripture in all its drama. God gives, and He takes away. Who are we to question God? We must merely obey Him, call to Him, and trust Him. In the end, life with God results in double what we could ever imagine in our former life.
This was a great year of reading the Bible. I love journaling through all of it, and I look forward to returning to its pages to read my devotional reflections in the years to come.
