This thirty-day tool for spiritual growth presents thirty practical articles that show readers how to experience breakthroughs in their Christian lives, marriages, families, and walks with God. In addition to an introduction and conclusion, each of the four sections contains seven articles written by some of the nation's best-known Christian authors. Their contributions, a combination of helpful insights from the Bible and personal experience, will touch readers who may be struggling and looking for life-transforming change. The book also serves as a resource guide for Dr. Bruce Wilkinson's new release, Experiencing Spiritual Breakthroughs, based on the internationally renowned Three Chairs series.
Bruce Wilkinson is recognized as one of the world's foremost Christian teachers and speakers. But he is best known as the author of the New York Times #1 bestseller, The Prayer of Jabez, and other bestsellers including A Life God Rewards, Secrets of the Vine, and The Dream Giver. He is the founder of WorldTeach, a global initiative to train Bible teachers in every nation. Wilkinson also founded Dream for Africa, a humanitarian agency that has taken on AIDS, orphan care and hunger in sub-Saharan Africa. Bruce and his wife, Darlene, have three children and six grandchildren. They live outside Atlanta.
Excellent book! Different authors lends to different perspectives each day. I've gone through it twice now and plan to go through it again one month every few years or so.
My Mother gave me this book. It sat on my shelf awhile. I decided to read it. God was doing some awesome work in my life at that time. This book spoke of all He was doing. It was conformation of His working! It was amazing!! This book will teach you so much!! It is a life changing book!
I thought that the book being a compilation of other books was a bit distracting for me. I would have to get used to the new writer for the days style before I could get anything out of the reading. Overall, a good book that promotes spiritual growth.
This book miraculously appeared on my shelf one day when I was really struggling to connect with the Lord. It took me longer than 30 days to read through it but I enjoyed all of the articles in it and I'm looking forward to reading some of the books that he took excerpts from for this collection.
I enjoyed many parts of the book...it is actually a group of writings by several authors put together by one so I could identify with some of the authors but not with others as well. But all in all there was some very good advice in the chapters.
It was especially helpful for me. I am a visual learner so the three chair concept really made sense. I gave the book away but can tell you the chapter before the last was the MOST life-changing for me. It is a book that contains chapters written by some of the greats.
