Feminist to Feminine: Reclaiming the Value of Womanhood in God's Story

Rate this book
What does it mean to reclaim your womanhood in today’s culture?

Divisive and politicized, modern feminism and the call to rewrite traditional gender roles has only left women more confused. Author Justice Kuehl is exploring a new biblical femininity and discovering who our Father created women to really be. She shares her personal journey from defending feminist messages to finding the hypocrisy of modern feminism.

By breaking down biblical feminism and asking the hard questions, Feminist to Feminine will bring readers on a journey to discover their identity and value, not based on society’s definitions or expectations, but straight from our Father in heaven.

I started this book thinking that I would learn about and feel better about myself and feminism. But this author is so anti feminist it’s insane. From her Christian brain rot beliefs to watching Steven Crowder videos to help form her beliefs on feminism, racism, etc. I almost felt bad for her and her struggle with endometriosis until she compared her pain and struggle with it to the feminist pro abortion movement.

Justice, endometriosis sucks, everybody knows it does, but men don’t try to kill you over getting treatments for endometriosis like they do abortions. Men don’t try to control your body and right to get surgery or treatments for endometriosis, like they would for abortions. Your fake ass views of feminism are delusional and completely awful and complete setbacks on anything the feminist movement is trying to accomplish. I wish every single pillow you lay your head on at night is as warm as a hot desert day :)

I enjoyed this book, but wish she would’ve talked more about femininity and what it really is instead of solely focusing on what’s wrong with modern feminism and how it doesn’t align with true femininity.

great book

I loved every bit of this. It wasn’t what I expected but was much more. This is something I will read again and again.

Phenomenal writing! Justice begins the book by saying that she desires for the reader to feel like we’re sitting on her bed, eating chocolate chip cookies late at night, while having a deep discussion… And I can honestly say that’s exactly how it feels! Conversational and convicting, she shares her own personal journey growing up a feminist (and its origination story in her life), to throwing away the ideology, and instead embracing the femininity of biblical womanhood. She discusses some very heavy topics, but does so in a very gracious and sensitive nature. Can’t recommend this book enough!

What a gutsy, well-thought-out, well-researched, kind-hearted book dealing with a triggering topic. Unlike so many articles & social media fare dealing with modern feminine issues, Kuehl manages to avoid painting with a broad brush or sounding spiteful. She is explaining her own journey from one who stood behind modern feminism in a big way but has since seen behind the curtain, so to speak, to remove the rhetoric & reveal true intentions and harm to women as a whole and the nuclear family.
Even if Ms Kuehl’s views may differ from your own, this book is a fascinating narrative. Also, as an author myself, I applaud Ms Kuehl for her skillful organization & pleasurable prose. She is just, flat-out, an excellent writer who does a very commendable job handling a tough topic with humor, class, empathy, & intelligence.

Really liked this book. It’s very thoughtful, well organized, and offers a compassionate approach to a topic rife with conflict and harshness. She is scripture based—grounded in the Word. Would be a great book to discuss, as she has created many topics for discussion and personal exploration/journaling.

This was the most interesting read I had in 2024. This book presents a completely different view of women than I have been taught by society. I appreciate her gentle delivery and valid points.
