My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

I didn’t like Mike and I didn’t feel any boom.

Mike is father to two teenage girls, he has a good relationship with his ex wife, her husband, and their daughter. He sees Tasha for the first time in a coffee shop, their eyes meet and both feel something but his ex-wife, Jessa walks in between them and he loses sight of her. Jessa is there to talk to him about their twins sweet sixteen birthday party. He calls his ex-wife babe!! Seriously, how is her husband not upset at that. That’s an endearment for someone you are with not someone your were once with.
Tasha is a first grade school teacher, she has a very sad dating life. She was with her high school sweetheart for ten years, even though the spark had faded many years ago. When a shooter comes into the school with a gun it shakes her up and she decides to leave her long term boyfriend. She then falls for a guy who turns out to be a jerk and married. Both times she ignored all the red flags and just kept hoping things would get better.

The two do have a meet cute after the coffee house, Jessa running late asks Mike to pick up her daughter Emmy from school. Turns out Tasha is Emmy’s teacher and she knows that the man claiming to be Emmy’s dad is not her father. She calls the police and Mike is almost arrested, Jessa shows up and explains everything. Mike feeling a pull to Tasha asks her to dinner. She agrees and they have a wonderful time. At the end of the date she asks him in and he gently declines. She feels a little hurt and confused. Me too. What the hell Mike? You will sleep with random woman but not even kiss someone you like.
Mike was a very wishy washy guy. He knocked up Jessa at 21 and was a dad at 22. They both tried but things didn’t work and they divorced. Then he was dating a woman who cheated on him and another that stole from him. So he too has a poor dating record. So he’s understandably wary, I’ll give him that but he had to many insecurities about trusting his own judgement. And he keeps waiting for Tasha to show herself as untrustworthy. Which in his opinion happens when her past comes up.

A whole week goes by with him being busy and he never contacts Tasha. The next week, he heads over without calling with flowers. She’s bummed he didn’t call or text. She was sure they had a connection. When he comes over with flowers and apologizes, she accepts and they agree to another date. He keeps things pretty surface for a while. He tells her he’s not rushing things he is respecting her.
They finally have sex and they are now a couple. To surprise him she goes to his office with coffee but runs into her ex, Daniel the married jerk (remember she didn’t know he was married the year she dated him). Daniel is a real piece of shit, he sees there maybe something between Mike and Tasha and proclaims loudly that they are done and she shouldn’t chase after him. Mike being a hothead jumps to conclusions and lays into her pretty harshly. He says some really mean things and never gives Tasha a chance to say anything other than Mike…Mike…
(It became really annoying how many times she would just say his name constantly, just Mike. That’s it, that would be her only dialogue for pages.)
She’s heartbroken and he after cooling down feels bad that he was harsh with her. She had told him about a guy she dated that turned out to be not who he said he was. She didn’t give Mike the whole story, she was deeply embarrassed by her unknowingly becoming the other woman. He realizes that’s who she was talking about, his sleazy boss Daniel.
He runs into her at the local watering hole, she ignores him until he corners her, she lays into him and tells him she didn’t know Daniel was married. Her friend rescues her from Mike and she ignores him for the rest of the night. His friends explain the boom to him when he can’t take his eyes off her. He tells them their rocky history and they tell him don’t give up. So now he realizes what he feels for her is the famous boom.
When she gets home a very drunk Daniel is waiting on her porch, he almost assaults her but luckily Mike has followed her home and punches Daniel and makes him leave.
This leads to them making up. Things are going well, she officially meets his daughters and everyone gets along. Another wrinkle when Daniel tells her if she doesn’t break up with Mike he will fire him and maybe even physically injure him. She of course freaks and starts to avoid Mike. More back and forth and Mike sort of figures it out when he overhears Daniel on the phone in the office.
Daniel’s reign of terror comes to an end when while drunk he crashes his car into Mike’s daughter’s car injuring the girls. He is arrested and is no longer a threat.
More drama when Tasha finds out she pregnant and thinks Mike doesn’t want more kids based on a comment he made. They finally talk, she tells him, he’s thrilled, and I love yous. Epilogue, they have a daughter, he proposes and they get married, the twins graduate, and head off to college. Jessa is going to watch their daughter so they can celebrate Tasha being pregnant again.

Mike presented a lot of red flags too and Tasha again just ignored them and kept forgiving Mike because he was so good looking. She would be strong for a bit then give in, so not a complete doormat but definite doormat tendencies.
Writing was good, there were some cute and sweet moments, like all the kids.

Until Mike definitely gives us the boom effect we crave and want from this series. Both Mike and Tasha have been hurt in the past but when Mike allows his tainted past to cloud his future, hurtful words will be said, hearts will break and second and third chances might just be blown. Mike at times was a little frustrating with this speak now and don't ask questions at all attitude, however his go big or go home gesture might just make up for it. There was plenty of chemistry that radiates between these two and the draw between them can be felt. A story filled with drama, passion, understanding, love and characters that will steal your heart.

Mike thinks he's done with love and relationships after his divorce. Even though he and his daughters' mother are good friends and civilly co-parent their twin teen daughters, he doesn't want another relationship, ever. Then a beautiful woman booms her way into his heart, and his world is turned upside down. If only he could keep his foot out of his mouth, he could have it all, have forever.

2 failed relationships have made Natasha wary of men. But when she sees a hot guy at the local coffeeshop, her body is wondering if perhaps she should dip her toe back into the dating scene. Too bad he turns out to be a jerk. But when that same jerk asks her out and they have a wonderful date, everything's back on track. Or is it? He really isn't who he appears to be, and now she's retreating back into herself. Mike will just have to remain in that category of yet another guy in her past who isn't the one.

Oh damn, Natasha had her work cut out for her with Mike. He constantly inserted his foot into his mouth and messed things up! Luckily for him, she's a sweet soul with a big heart, and gave him a second, third, fourth...chance to redeem himself. Mike and Tasha, once they finally get on the same page, make an adorable couple. Add in a great secondary cast, especially Mike's twin teen daughters - the boom is alive and well.

Until Mike by Mayra Statham due 11/3/23 4 stars
Mike & Tasha + several

A Meet Cute is their beginning. Doing a favor for his ex-wife almost lands him in jail. He helps out his ex going to school to pick up the daughter she has with her new husband. Problem: her teacher, Tasha, is a stickler for keeping the rules and he isn't authorized to get the little girl. When it is all straightened out who'd have thought instead of having words with her he invites Tasha to dinner.

Lots of characters from earlier books, including those who are very familiar with the BOOM. Well-known to describe the instant reaction to someone. And this reaction is instant.

Things aren't easy though. Each of them has had more than one bad relationship and decided not to try again. Except resistance between these two seems futile. Not that they don't create enough situations to make them wonder if it is worth the effort. Add an enemy and the Boom may have to work overtime.

Good story, steam, and characters new and familiar, along with a few too many conflicts for my taste still a good read.

I absolutely love this whole series. I started it back with ARR and Until November up through these. Until Mike again takes us back to the Happily Ever Alpha World. Tropes you will find:
💜 Single dad
💜ex-boyfriends co worker
💜instalove
💜dual pov
💜 family dynamics
💜accidental pregnancy

I really love this whole series. The MMC, Mike, is a single dad to twin girls that he shares with his ex. The FMC, tasha, is a first grade teacher at the local school. Mike and Tasha meet when his ex calls him to pick up her third child ( not belonging to MMC) bc neither of her parents can pick her up. He agrees and picks her up. From there comes the “ boom”. Now added into the boom you have family dynamics, accidental pregnancy, drama with the ex, and single dad. Add in the accidental pregnancy with Mike pushing the big 4-0. I find these books to be great, quick n fun reads this was no exception.

Mike is a divorced father of two teenage daughters, He and his ex-wife get along she is remarried now and has a daughter he even gets along with her new husband because he and his ex are so close when asked if he could pick her daughter up from school he quickly says yes however pick did not go so well and he was almost arrested because he was not on her pick up list. Enters Natasha Torres his ex-wife's daughter teacher, Natasha knows heartbreak when her relationship with her boyfriend later on in the books she finds out he wasn't who she thought he was. After almost getting arrested Mike asks Natasha out to dinner they click instantly but after promising to call her it takes him a week to call her. Mike is always messing up and jumping to conclusions honestly I'm surprised at how many chances she gives him, after what he says to her after he found out about Daniel I would have so been done with him!

I was pulled right into this story. This is a standalone in the Happily Ever Alpha World brought to you by Aurora Rose Reynolds. The story has suspense, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Tasha and Mike’s story. These two have both been burned and move forward with relationships with a lot of caution. They don’t meet under the best of circumstances as he almost gets arrested. It was a huge misunderstanding but what comes out of it is a date. From then on there is a lot of miscommunications and jumping to conclusions. He needs all the help he can get in order to win her back over, but will it be enough? Will other people not want them together and try to make that happen? Can they have a future? Or should they both walk away?

I recommend this book.

Mike is a divorced single dad to two twin teenage daughters, and Natasha / Tasha is a 1st grade teacher. When Mike is doing a favour for his ex-wife, in picking up her little daughter from school, he meets Tasha, who is not happy as he is not authorized to pick her up, and she almost has Mike arrested. After these two sort themselves out, Mike invites Tasha to dinner, where they have an incredible evening, only for her not to hear from him again.
This is a well written story which is a grumpy / sunshine, age gap romance, with twists, humor, family, friendships, drama, emotions, and love, which leads to an entertaining and spicy page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Natasha ‘Tasha’ Torres & Mike Granger. While out with her friend getting coffee Tasha sees Mike in a crowded coffee shop. She thinks she doesn't have a chance when a woman comes up and hugs him. Mike sees Tasha as well in that crowded coffee shop but after greeting his ex-wife he loses track of her. When his ex asks him to pick up her daughter he can't believe the teacher he meets is the one woman he can't seem to forget about. Can these two find their boom or will others make sure that never happens?

Amazing story by this author. It will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I enjoyed this story so much.

Mike and Tasha had such a hilarious meeting. After she almost got hom arrested for kidnapping (😂) he asked her out on a date. They had an amazing time, but then Mike's insecurities got the better of him. And he had to do lots of groveling for Tasha to give him another chance 🤦‍♀️

And it seems both of them had some issues to get over.

As always this story had romance, laughter, and definitely added in some angst their towards the end. And man I couldn't get over the family dynamics with Mike and his ex... 😳 Loved the characters, loved everything about this story, as always reading a BOOM story always gives me such a happy feeling at the end of it😍

Mike’s agreement to do a favor for his ex makes his first meeting with Natasha unforgettable and after everything is resolved he is surprised when she agrees to go on a date with him. Even though it was one of the best dates he has ever had his need to protect his heart doesn’t make things easy.

Natasha hasn’t made the best choices in her life when it comes to men and after Mike’s behavior she is beginning to wonder if he is just the next bad decision, and she isn’t about to just forgive and forget.

Both Mike and Natasha have been hurt in the past which causes some turmoil. When you combine that with the suspense part of the story you know they are in for a bumpy ride but that only makes the outcome even better.

I received this as an arc from Give Me Books Promotions and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

This was a good single dad romance. It was a well written story that had a good flow. I really liked the beginning and Mike and Tasha had a great meet cute but as the story progressed I found it had too much drama, and it was the unnecessary kind of drama, a lot of misunderstanding and miscommunication. It felt a little forced and I really felt like the story had so much potential because I liked the characters. The ending was cute and I did overall enjoy the book but it just needed a bit less drama to make it feel more real.

Until Mike by Mayra Statham is a part of the 'Happily Ever Alpha World' Series. This book connected with 'Until December' and 'Until July' so if you have read those then you will want to read this book. I have been loving this series and I love this author's writing so this was a must read for me. This is the story of Mike Granger who is a single father to two twin girls with his ex wife. Natasha Torres ‘Tasha’ is a school teacher. When Mike goes to help out by picking up another child he ends up meeting Tasha and they have their 'Boom' moment.

Love these..

Another great book in the Boom series. A first grade teacher meets a man saying he's the dad of her student she knows isn't. She calls the police and he's almost arrested when his ex shows up and tell everyone that he was picking up her daughter for her. She is remarried and they all get along great. They had twins together young but didn't work out. He invites the teacher to dinner and sparks fly. Drama from her ex, who is is boss complicates things....will the Boom survive Until Mike?

This book was so good. It is about two people who make mistakes and aren't perfect. I love how it shows a true relationship and true forgiveness. I am absolutely in love with Tasha, even though she has had her lumps she just keeps on living. Mike *swoon* he is not perfect but he is such a great guy with a huge heart, just is misplaced from time to time. I highly recommend this story, author and these crazy characters.

Set in the amazing world that Aurora Rose Reynolds created, Tasha works with December, while Mike knows Wes and Harlan. After a bit of a mishap, Mike asks Tasha to join him for dinner, and with a bit of shock she says yes. The journey that takes place after is full of twists and turns, loads of drama, some ok naughty bits, and some cute moments. I found this to just be an ok read and give it 4 stars.

Mayra Statham has a brand new book out in ARR's Happily Ever Alpha World and y'all, this was a sweet little romance that had some heat, swoon, insta-love, and all of the feels. Until Mike gives us Mike and Tasha's story and this is one you do not want to miss.

I adore Aurora Rose Reynolds and all the books connected to her Until series. This was a really cute addition to Happy Ever Alpha.

I can't recommend this world enough y'all.

Good plot line and I enjoyed the story itself but there are so many grammatical errors that I was getting a bit frustrated with the lack of editing. Some sentences have a missing word, some have words mixed up within the sentence, and others just don‘t make sense since the wrong word is used. I‘m accustomed to reading books with an error or two but this book was full of them. If you’re willing to overlook or endure this then its an easy enjoyable read.

Mike & Tasha: triggers: sexual assault, DWI, alcohol abuse. This book was okay. I honestly didn't have too many issues with this book. I felt that it connected well to the original series, though I wanted a little more drama, more suspense, it was okay. I didn't like all the push and pull between Mike and Tasha, it was like a tennis match that I didn't ask to sit through. But I loved their meet-cute and I absolutely loved the twins. All in all, I enjoyed this story.

Until Mike

What a great story about two people who meet by chance, after actually having seen each other at a coffee shop. Let’s just say their 1st encounter is an interesting one, not without some intense moments, drama, and humor. This story will renew your faith in second chances, even when you have been burned previously. Loved this story.❤️

Mike & Tasha

I knew who Tasha was at the very beginning and I was so excited to have it confirmed that I was right! Until December is one of my absolute favorites so I was so excited to see December - and all the other Maysens that popped up. The way they met! From the first time they saw each other to their first actual meeting - loved it. This story made my heart happy! ❤️

This book is part of the Happily Ever Alpha world. This book starts out with a funny meet cute. Mike is trying to help out his ex-wife by picking up her daughter from school when she gets stuck in traffic. Tasha is the little girl’s teacher and calls the cops of Mike when he says he is her dad and Tasha knows he isn’t. Luckily Mike’s ex shows up in time to stop him from going to jail. Mike and Tasha feel a crazy pull towards each other. But life and misunderstanding could stop them from really seeing where things could go. Both of them don’t have the best luck when it comes to relationships. There is a twist in this story as well. I really enjoyed this book. Each book in this collection is a standalone romance. I have read several of them but not all and loved them. Great job Mayra.

So odd - I read this a while ago, but obviously forgot to mark it as such! A re-read was due.

I liked this an awful lot. Unlike a lot of the entries into the HEAW books this one was a decent length with good character development. I liked both Mike and Tasha. The overall tone definitely had ARR 'Until...' vibes to it... so happy reader here!

After his divorce mike is done with relationships. Now it’s just him and his girls. Tasha is no expert in men. Not after her ex. Mike makes her hope of ever after till he open his mouth. I love the fighting. Small town love with a sprinkle of sass. You won’t put it down till the last page.

Awwww….

Love this story, poor Tasha has definitely paid her dues. She was very mature even when the men around her weren’t. Tasha gets an award for forgiveness, that’s for sure. The ending totally made it worth all the whiplash and crazy angst.
