I'm the author of the webcomic Dinosaur Comics (that's the comic where the pictures don't change but the words do, it's better than it sounds and I've also done crazy things like turn Shakespeare into a choose-your-own-path adventure, write a comic for Marvel about a girl with all the powers of a squirrel, or mess up walking my dog so badly it made the news.

I'm working on more stuff as we speak, hopefully it's good

What an amazing and emotional finale to the story set up in the previous number with Metamind AI, not mention the clousure on the affair with the kids caught outside of time. Ryan and Fiorelly keep knocking it out of the park with this book.

Es genial cómo este número subvierte expectativas. Ya solo con la fantástica (sic.) portada de Alex Ross y ese inicio de retrasmisión 50", cabría esperar otra historia a lo "Twilight Zone" como Ryan North ha ido desperdigando en esta cabecera. Pero el tema de la nueva mente de la que supimos en el número anterior y que era responsable de posponer la reunión de la Familia Richards al completo no entra totalmente en los canones del scifi de "amenazas terribles". Y la manifestación de esta inteligencia artificial se desarrolla con un enfoque más intimista que termina por imprimir mucho de la emoción que será el reencuentro Fantástico del que el mismísimo Victor Von Doom debe de estar al tanto.

Sin duda, Ryan North ha sabido relanzar muy bien a estos personajes en su sintonía de historias que desafían lo concebible y fantásticos con la importancia familiar por encima de todo. Es divertido y entrañable. Es una de las lecturas Marvelitas actuales más recomendables.

¡Pero qué pedazo de historia acabo de leer! Desde hace mucho que no me emocionaba tanto con una historia reciente de los Cuatro Fantásticos. Y es que esta es una joya.
Lo pondré fácil. Metamind es una app que funciona como un megacerebro en la red, con los cerebros de los humanos cumpliendo la función de neuronas y que evolucionó tanto, que se convirtió en un ser consciente por sí misma. Incluso, logró llevarse al Edificio Baxter a otra dimensión (es ella entonces la culpable de prácticamente todos los sucesos del volumen 7) para que Reed no se metiera con ella. Es un argumento increíble.
