I didn’t choose tonight to be my wedding night. And no matter what, a stalker will get to claim my innocence…
I’m tricked onto a yacht and taken out to sea. The boat party I was invited to? Turns out, the boy who sits beside me in class has an obsession with my purity, and his friends all want to see him take me as his bride.
But my classmates aren’t the only ones on board.
When Gabriel Rudd steps out from the shadows and gives me the choice of who will strip me out of this translucent white bridal gown—father or son—I pick the grown man with the frightening, flashing gaze.
And I have to hope the mountain man, with his whispered, urgent words that fill me with an unexpected heat, will protect me when the rest of them want a turn…
Her Wedding Night is an over-the-top spicy instalove romance with a reclusive former Navy SEAL who will stop at nothing to protect the innocent, unknowing girl he’s been watching from afar.
Chloe Maine has written other books before, but none of them as purely id-driven as Before He Was Her Headmaster. She delights in the fantasy of bending big men to the craven desires of supposedly innocent women. When she’s not writing, she’s probably reading. She lives in Canada with her own big man, raising the babies they made together.
This author writes some of my favourite short and smutty reads. Completely OTT and Insta love and I love them. Definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for a little filth.
Romance trope: Daddy kink, age gap Length: 146 pages
Plot: Lucy doesn't know why she agreed to go to the party on the yacht with Ethan, but once she gets there, she realizes she made a terrible mistake. The only one who can save her now is her...stalker? But why is he here? Once the virgin auction starts, though (yes, you read that right), he'll protect her with everything he has.
Commentary: Bonkers. Not my favorite Chloe Maine, to be honest. The whole thing seemed more improbable than any other plot ever. But it was fun and hot for a while.

36% I know there’d be no book if Lucy wasn’t stupid enough to get herself into this situation, but my god how can she be this fucking stupid. Ethan is creeping me the fuck out and the entire situation is stressing me out and like, congrats Chloe Maine as a writer for being able to freak me out but wtf this is not what I’m looking for when I pick up one of your books. I feel like I can always count on your books for an escape but now I just wish I could escape what I’ve already read of this book.
80% ok the sex was hot tho. 💦
88% LITERALLY WTAF. What the actual fuck?! This girl. This fucking girl is she serious rn??? Behold the stupidest fucking thing I’ve ever heard a FMC say:
“That’s called a conspiracy to commit a crime.”
“I don’t want to sex shame anyone.” She blushes.
“They kidnapped you, Lucy. It’s okay to sex-shame kidnappers.”
She nibbles on her lip again. “I went willingly.”
AFTER THAT LEGITIMATELY SICKENING HORRIFYING SITUATION SHE WAS IN she’s downplaying their crimes bc she doesn’t want to “sex shame” anyone?! Of all the—ok I know in these instalove stories, the heroine’s all have to be kind of dumb for the logistics of instalove to work. Otherwise there’d be no happy endings in ott stalkery romances, like the ones MINK writes for example. But wtf is this. What message is this sending for her to be dumb enough to say this??? Literally the worst heroine I’ve ever read and THAT IS SAYING SOMETHING.
🔥 I lift her up onto the table. The gauzy fabric rides up her legs, revealing smooth, soft thighs.
I strip my clothes off, not caring who sees the big, hard planes of my body, or the jut of my cock. It’s important for them to see it, feel small and insignificant next to it, so they let me climb on top of her and have my way with her uninterrupted.
But it means when I step between her thighs and hook my fingers into the waistband of her bikini bottoms, there’s no hiding how much my body likes being in this position.
“You’re hard,” she whispers, her voice catching. “Why are you hard?”
That uncertain hitch to her words should make me soft. She’s asking if I like it. Do you like violating my sweet, innocent body in front of these monsters?
“Because you’re beautiful,” I admit, my voice rough and raw. “Because I know you’ll feel like heaven. I’m so sorry.” I try to shift back, pulling my traitorous erection away from the soft cradle of her thighs, but her fingers wrap around my length and squeeze.
Without a word, I peel her bikini bottoms off, revealing her soft, perfect pussy. Puffy and framed with a dusting of wispy reddish brown hair, it’s innocently beautiful, just like the rest of her.
My cock throbs in her hand.
♥︎ When he’s all the way buried, he holds still and soothes me with his words and his touch. “My precious bunny needs my cock,” he murmurs. “I will always give you what you need."
The. Actual. Fuck? Here we have Lucy who seems all full of brains and street smarts, until she isn't. She's aware of her stalker, even trying to get a picture of him to give to campus police. She seems all around wary anr capable of taking care of herself and yet... she ends up on a yatch with a bunch of "friends" who want to play auction off the virgin in some weird sex party. And even though it seems like she's slow on the intake, once the first girl is bought and fucked on the poker table, it still doesn't seem to register? I mean come on! Why is she not saying to these fuckers that she wants no part of this? Nope, she just pretends to have to pee to go up and talk to the captain so she can somehow get off this boat which is now in open water where rules clearly don't apply. And then, THEN she sees her stalker and instead of fighting him off, she tries to seduce him/manipulate him and clearly some stupid part of her brain tells her to kiss him and friggen hump his cock until the guy she's at the party with, Ethan; ie stalker's son, calls for her and she goes back to the party to watch yet another girl get fucked on the table... Did I mention the part where there's clearly drugs, alcohol and no laws on the open water? One drug in particular being a date rape drug??? Yeah no, I like this author and all but this is a bit fucked up and Lucy is all sorts of stupid for all of this. Especially since she doesn't like Ethan that way and he gives her the creeps but sure, let's go to the creeper's party all the same...
Let's not get started on the guns, or the fact that Ethan was so obsessed with Lucy that he paid the captain to legally marry them so he could take her virginity. Let's not talk about the fact that her stalker, Gabriel; Ethan's maybe-maybe not father somehow has more than enough money to buy Lucy in the auction instead of Ethan and then takes her virginity at gun point on the table in front of everyone...
AND. THEN. SHE. GOES. TO. A. CABIN. WITH. HER. STALKER.
A. FUCKEN. CABIN.
Yeah let's just not talk about this nightmare of a book at all anymore.

Lucy was being stalked for some time now. It’s an older gentleman with tattoos behind his neck and on his arms with gray at his temples. She hasn’t been able to get a clear picture of his face, but Lucy knows Gabe’s blue eyes are the type that stand out. They do stand out when they make eye-to-eye contact as she tries to take his picture.
Let me back up a bit. Lucy starts tutoring a guy named Ethan. He is a frat boy who is failing a class. So, he asked Lucy to tutor him she agreed. She will come to think of him as a quiet nice guy. She wanted to get out of her way, meet new people, and go to parties that semester. So, when Ethan invited her to a party, she said maybe. He wanted to ensure she was coming to the party, so he asked if he could pick her up, and she said no.
Lucy finds out it’s on a yacht, they indeed will be going out to sea, and the foster kid in her was right but for once she didn't want to listen to that inner voice. The fight or flight that was in steeled in her to protect herself. At the last minute, she planned on running, but in the shadows, she saw Gabe on land watching. Then, Ethan found her, and her escape was no more. She will come to find out later his name is, Gabriel Rudd, a reclusive former Navy SEAL. He is stalking her for protection, in a way.
This was such an at-the-edge-of-your-seat kind of book. It is an erotica first-time virgin, gap age, insta-love, suspense, and more.
Lucy is a freshman in college and all alone. She’s got a tatted stalker so when the nerdy guy, Ethan invites her to a boat party, she agrees to go. She’s unaware of the nefarious games the frat boys like to play, so Gabriel, Ethan’s dad and her stalker, makes a quick decision to save her.
An awesome 20+ age gap. A man OBSESSED with a young woman. A twisted game turned dangerous. Voyeurism. Stalker. Obsession.
This one is OUT THERE but it’s dirty and smutty and a quickie. You can’t go wrong with this one if you need a palate cleanser or if you’re just in the mood for something short and smexy.
And of course we have a happy ending. It’s a common theme for the girls to be pregnant or have lots of babies and I ADORE it. Nothing like possessive older men and their spoiled obsessions.
This was a wild ride – and not at all what I expected. I have read many of @ChloeMaine’s books, and I decided to jump into this “Everyone Is Watching” series. What I did not expect was this college girl who gets pulled into some crazy stuff on a boat in the middle of the night. She is going to be taken advantage of, and who saves her? The father of her stalker, who has been watching her! AH! Then in order to save her, he takes her virginity in front of this group of insane college kids. Yup. I said that. Here’s the thing—did I enjoy it? Kinda, yeah. It felt closer to a dark romance novella to me and because of that edge, I was intrigued. Now, don’t ask me if I liked this book or not – it’s honestly hard to tell because this plot was kind of outrageous. But did it stop me? No.
Growing up in foster care, she has learned to be very aware of her surroundings. She finds him in line in front of her in the coffee shop and gets a good look at him. Then leaves a message with her criminal science professor to look for the man if she goes missing.
Later that day, a student she was tutoring asks her to go to a party and she finds out the hard way it is a sex party where the guys gamble, and the winners take one of the girls. She is trapped, and tries to figure out how to get away...
Then discovers her stalker is on board, not knowing he is trying to protect her... Things get nasty when the boys have weapons, and the tension becomes dangerous. A good mystery to keep you focused...
When the author herself described this story as bonkers, she wasn't underselling it.
I almost didn't keep reading this one - it started out a little...off. Blah. Not what I expect from this writer (I'm a HUGE fan of her alter ego Zoe York, and have enjoyed a couple of the books she's written as Ainsley Booth), even though I know the books she writes as this alter ego are over-the-top ridiculous and super steamy. But I hung with it and am glad I read it.
Look, as long as you go in with your expectations managed and know what you're getting yourself into, you'll probably enjoy this quick read.
I really did want to give this book a chance... I really did. The blurb sounded intriguing which is why I downloaded it. I finished this book pretty quickly and this book has the potential to really have something... it just really didn't do it for me. I would consider reading more from this author to see if there is something else that I might like. But I couldn't connect with the characters and it seemed like the plot got lost somewhere in the first couple of chapters. Shame.
🖤 Stalker daddy, protective MMC 🖤 Nerdy virginal FMC 🍒 🖤 Short spicy contemporary novella 🖤 Fast burn, insta love ❤️🔥 🖤 Age gap
What starts as a night cruise with some frat guys and gals turns to an auction for her virginity, and her only way out of this alive is her stalker 👀 ✅ ✅ ✅
This is not my usual type of book but I love everything Chloe Maine writes so had to read this one too and really enjoyed it I love that her nickname is Bunny makes me melt
This was a good story and different from anything I’ve read before. Lucy’s attitude and decision making skills seemed to contradict each other at times which was frustrating.
Normally the only books I will give 1 or 2 stars are ones I don't finish. This wasn't a DNF, but it should have been. The plot was so unrealistic and not at all believable, and the romance instalove that happened between this girl and her stalker? Ugh. It didn't work for me at all.
lots of continuity errors. laughable dialogue (said without any irony, during a surprise gun battle, "Takes one to know one!"). insane plot leaps. wild vacillations in feelings/motivations. major plot points never resolved. just . . . a mess. and all within a short story!
This was twisted dark, but through the POV of Lucy, the threatened violence felt unrealistic. She should have been fucking terrified. I did enjoy Gabriel, the secret stalker angel. The bonus chapters were MUCH better.
This book was truly amazing. I really appreciate this book. I haven't read many of this authors work but what I've read are wonderful. Keep Up The Good Work.
