I grew up on Sci-fi and Fantasy books with some of my favorite authors being Anne McCaffery and Mercedes Lackey. In 2013 I discovered paranormal romance and delved into a whole new world. After reading Omegaverse stories from Addison Cain and Nora Ash, I had the idea for The Omega Prize and decided to take a shot at writing a book of my own. The beginning was rough, it took two months to write the first five chapters, but as my 2019 New Year’s resolution I said I was going to finish the story and committed to writing every day. It didn't take long for the book to begin telling itself, and from there I just kept going.

All of my books are Omegaverse, but they span settings from Sci-Fi, dystopian, and historical barbarians. There is even a small-town Enemies to Lovers Romance story in there. They main contain dark elements but I wouldn't call them dark romance since my alphas tend to be a little mushy in the center. I promise there's always a HEA.

If you have read the Monster series to date, then don't miss this. Leann Ryans takes us to the clan which has - so far - claimed five human omega females, and we see how it has changed the community. We are treated to a glimpse of their new lives and the love they now experience daily. Cherished, respected, some mothers, some waiting, all still strongly desired by their monster mates, who prove this with steamy attention.

This story really doesn’t stand alone and the author is very clear about that. This is an extended slice of life for the five couples whose stories were told as the first five books in this series. It is GLORIOUS! This is, honestly, my favourite part of a story - seeing the characters living well together and having a good time and working through their issues to have a great time and enjoy themselves. This story is multi POV, with perspectives from all the characters at different points. We get to see them interact with their mates and also with the wider group as a whole. We see how their intimate situations have changed and it definitely includes babies and pregnancy so, if that is not your jam, do not engage! I really enjoyed how the different couples are at different life stages and how that’s changing their perspectives.

If you have been following the 'Monsters' series up to this point, this book brings all your fav characters back for a intertwined epilogue read on what has been going on since we last left them. New mates, new babies, new worries, and new joys - it's a great catchup especially if you are someone like me who needs more of that world and those characters.

If this is the first book you pick up in the series, I think you will find yourself eager to delve into the other stories in the series just to know more. It's just that fun and with new characters introduced, it just means possible more novellas to come.

Ultra-hot and steamy Omegaverse romantic quickie with heat, slick, biting, knotting, and more exploring where the alpha monster – omega human couples are in their relationships. It includes all the couples (Mel’ar and Sasha, Mel’cam and Meaghan, Av’dag and Nala, Ka’dir and Mylah, Vir'doth and Arleth) from the Monsters in the Mountains series and will just seem like a series of sex scenes unless you’ve read the previous five stories to understand who the characters are and how they came to be together. Loved to see all the monster-human babies and babies-on-the way, as well as how the couples are getting (it) on.

The 6th part of the series consists of mini hot stories about couples that we had the opportunity to meet in previous books. The stories are combined into a coherent whole by weaving threads showing the everyday life of human omegas and their monster mates among the other members of the clan. I regret that the author did not develop these threads more, but only showed small glimpses. As before, the story is a quick read. Familiarity with the previous books is required to fully enjoy reading, so I recommend it to fans of the series.

Monster romance

This book is part of A short stories Monster Romance series. But this definitely had a twist to this 1 . I have read all of her other books that are out with this series and I was not expecting what I got with this one. Instead of being about a new couple to the village , this is a what happened after they joined with there chosen true mates. The author did drop some new names which definitely has me excited for more to come. It was so nice to hear about where all the couples are and how they are doing.

The five monster mates were good, short and sexy stories that had lots of smexy scenes, but not a lot of follow up. It is necessary to read these stories before reading this book. I love a good recap story and this is that times five. The various stories were varied and lined up well with each couple's original book. And there was no shortage of yummy good times in this book either. We also get a glimpse of a few more monsters who are looking for mates, so yay!.

This book is a sequence to all stand alones of this series. We get to read about all our amazing monster loving couples and it's great!

This series books are pretty short and on most you don't get to read a lot about what happens next. This book comes to fulfill our curiosity and desire to read a little of the HEA.

Loved it and definitely recommend for everyone who enjoyed reading this series!.

This was great compilation epilogues on who has had babies and who is trying to get pregnant. They are still as attracted to each as they were the moment they met.

I especially like that that they are reforming their clan..adding new monster due to they understand that they need to help each other to survive.

I am definitely looking forward to more stories and the two new monsters getting mate.

I loved catching up with the characters from the previous books! We look into the lives of Sasha and Mel'ar from Monster's Find. Meaghan and Mel'cam from Monster's Obsession- which was my favorite book in the series and these two remain my favorite couple. Nala and Av'dag from Monster's Prey. Ka'dir and Mylah from Monster's Payment. Vir'doth and Arleth from Monster's Claim. I've enjoyed each book in this series and can't wait until the next one comes out. 5 stars.

This update on the monster romance stories and book 6 in The Monsters in the Mountains Book Series has a good look into the intriguing characters that were not what they seem to be and how they have grown. This is an update on the couples from the first five books is interesting. I like how this updates on their relationships' have grown and their offspring.

This book follows on from the series of five. Most of which, I had already o this was a great re visit for me. It tells the reader how each of the characters are setlling into their new lives. I would suggest those new to this series, do read the first five books. :D

I absolutely love that this give a glimpse at all of the previous monsters and mates. This gives so much steamy heat and great follow up. This is a multi-POV read. I loved reading everyone together and how their lives intertwine.
