I was interested in this book because it was related to music. The story was okay, nothing new. It's a one-time read.

Nikki ruins her own relationship for standing up for herself against her boyfriend, who frankly, has no business trying to tell her what to do with her musical career. Being from LA and having an uncle who works in a record company does not make him into an expert. I would have been much more forgiving if he actually knew what he's talking about. But thankfully, Nikki has enablers to make her see her "mistake" and make up with Scott.
