Another wonderful return to the enchanting world of Mendocino Cove, where the beauty of the beach and ocean makes a lovely, and almost mystical, setting for the stories of an amazing group of friends. What I love in this series is that the friendship and support between the main characters spans generations. There’s a bit more focus on the younger generation this time as new friendships grow and love unexpectedly sparks between Another thing that really drew me in is that we get a story within the story, bringing mystery and suspense while also, yet again, painting a great picture of resilience and support between women. This is such a great feel-good book. Loved it!

Mendocino Cove book 5

Very disappointed. I couldn’t warm to the character of Hazel at all. And couldn’t reconcile how Audrey and Zoe sought her out and gathered her in as almost family right away, in spite of her refusing to sell Jenny the dress. The fact that she had a domineering ex was a surprise and that she wanted River to stay that first night. Goodness the women in so many books these days fall into bed very easily, and almost all love at first sight. The story of Marianne was quite interesting albeit a bit long. Thought there would be more about Billie and Neil. So hoping there’s more news in final book, but doesn’t look like it.

Sweetly charming

If you like the lull of the ocean, the warmth of the sun, the thrill of romance, the whisper of mystery, and weddings, you’ll love A Wedding of Hearts and Tides. From Hazel to Audrey to Jenny and River, and many more, the cast of characters charms and supports and provides a wonderful playground for the events on Mendocino Island. I enjoyed the interweaving of the past drama with the present situations and how the author teases you along with just enough clues to make you turn the pages. This is an easy read and sweet, feel-good story that will lift you up.

I really love all these stories set in Mendocino Cove. This one has Hazel and River as the main focus. They are from two families that were entwined in the past. It is a very enjoyable story that links the past with the present, starting with the wedding dress. The recurring characters connect all the stories. I just couldn’t put it down until the mystery was revealed.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.

This book was a struggle to finish. I loved the first 3 in the series. 4 was okay but lacked something. This one was borderline terrible. The MC, Hazel, was such a bore. Zero character development and the romance was laughable and the dialog between Hazel and River was so bad. So much just didn't work in this book. The Marianne part had so much potential but it felt slapped in the book to fill pages and never really iron out in a functional way. I just hated all of this book.

This heartwarming series continues with the perfect weddings of Jenny and Jon and Faye and Gage.
For added entertainment we have a mystery, a missing woman and a new romance. I love that you never know what is going to happen next but you do know there will a happy ending.

Love this series

From the first book to the fifth-they’ve each been filled with interesting stories, some romance and great endings to each book. Highly recommend, and I can’t wait to read book 6.

Another Fun Read!

I just love the books from Mendocino Cove. I stated with Book 6, then Book 5 (this book.) There is always friendship, love and mystery. This one was no exception except we had weddings and great celebrations. On to the next one.
