Her Immortal Menagerie

In 1983, a monumental discovery in an Ancient Egyptian city is about to be unearthed. Hidden since the time of Atlantis, the secret scrolls contain scientific and metaphysical knowledge so powerful that some will sacrifice anything to find them.

Our universe is far older and stranger than we can imagine. Stars and planets speak to one another, guiding all life towards the original source. An orphaned extraterrestrial watches and waits; initiates of ancient wisdom hatch plans to possess the scrolls, while a demon from Earth’s distant past declares war to thwart them. Caught in the middle of them all is a young man trying to discover his purpose, who just might find the key to the next phase in the evolution of humanity.

I enjoyed the pace, and the handling of the different realizations of immortality, through anything from luck to study and devotion.
Peter has quite an imagination.

A fantastic read for something outside the norm of sci-fi. If you enjoyed the “Area 51” series, this may be of interest as well, with less emphasis on technology and more transcendentalism and existentialism. If you are looking for something refreshing and different, try this first book of the series!

EXCELLENT!

I usually don't read science fiction/metaphysical, which this book is both, but I loved this book so much. The author did a fantastic job pulling you into the story and kept your attention with a cast of diverse characters.

This book is full of surprises so buckle in and enjoy!

Not fond of third-person omniscience, but this one is done well. Great details, excellent worldbuilding. The style reminds me of Heinlein. On to book 2.
