This book would be great for beginner readers to read. The pages have few short sentences. This can help the new reader not feel intimidated or overwhelmed. It is also very repetitious and predictable.

Other than using this book for practice for beginner readers, I would also possibly use it as a writing prompt. The students could bring in a picture of themselves (preferrably when they were younger) and write about what they like about it and what they were doing in the picture.

This is a simple book making it suitable for early readers. It is however very moving and very lovely. I really enjoyed the Grandpa sharing the photos and his memories and thereby teaching baby duck. I loved the baby duck giving back with her own drawing. My daughter is desperate to repeat the experience with her grandpa when he visits next week.

I like the Baby Duck series 'cos it reminds us of the kids we used to be as well as the parents and family members we can become. Baby Duck snuggles with Grampa Duck to learn how she was born, and how she will always be loved, and how she can love back. Perfect for sharing with loved ones.

Very cute story of a grandpa visiting baby duck and together they go through baby duck's photo album. Interaction possibilities for a group storytime.

I loved this book! It reminds me of my nephew because he always says, "Who's that?" or "What's that?" to everything, especially when looking at pictures and/or videos of himself!
