Got into African wild dogs after the BBC Dynasties documentary on them, so thought I'd give this book a go. Short read but thoroughly enjoyed it all the way through. Really conveys the drama and brutality of the Serengeti for the species that inhabit it. 5/5.

I throughly enjoyed this book. It’s a very well written story about the observations of the this particular wild dog pack. The story of Solo is a hard one, showcasing both the beauty and cruelty that exists within nature.

Enjoyed the book. My only complaint is that Solo didn't really enter the story until much later in the book. Still a good book!
