Claimed By The Wolf Lord

Rate this book
The battle to break my curse has become a fight to save my fated mate…

Coming face to face with the Solar Sovereign’s evil has left me and Celeste more determined than ever to break my curse. But as we prepare for the upcoming Battle of the Eclipse, I sense that she is keeping something from me.

I fear that Celeste’s exposure to the Solar Sovereign has changed her. While I don’t question her true feelings for me, there is the chance our greatest enemy intends to use her against her will to destroy us.

Despite my doubts, Celeste remains single-minded in her dedication to freeing me from my curse. Together, we vow to defeat the Solar Sovereign once and for all to protect the mortal world from peril.

But she’s not the only one keeping secrets. And mine is that I would choose to live a cursed existence rather than risk losing my Lunar Bride for all of eternity…

I enjoyed Skye Wilson's writing so much I had to read another of her series. I literally binge read this trilogy so I honestly can't really remember where one book ends and the next begins so this will be my review of all. Did this need to be three books, 900 pages total? No. But did I still enjoy reading them, yeah!

They were fun, the characters were easily likeable and noone really felt too useless to the plot. Although the characters added in the later books did feel flatter and shoved in, (mainly liana) Was it slightly predictable that everyone ended up with someone in the close circle, yes but I wasn't too mad about it. As mentioned, this could have been shorter, the second book especially had a lot of what felt like unnecessary events in it, that could have been cut out or sped over. Same in the last book. I did find myself wanting for a resolution by the end as it felt it was dragged out a lot.

I did love the romance and I appreciated how it was slowly built up, none of the insta-love mate stuff. I also loved that they argued and then actually resolved it like adults having a mature conversation.

I wish we found out more about her dad. It also felt like it leant a lot into the witch part of her and nothing into the other part, or ever really explained how she was that or why it mattered. It literally had no impact on the plot.

Book one was my favourite as it had the best pacing and made me love the characters, and intrigued to read on. Two was the typical lul you get in mid-series books, but not bad by any means. By three, I was too many pages deep to give up and I wanted a resolution so read on, but really didn't live up to the first in the series

Over Amount of Joy

I named this that, was because of the feeling the of this story and what it gave you after reading the whole thing. The story had it's kinda low feeling in parts. But you became in a better mood right away.
The story was one that kept you wondering what was going to happen, that could bring you more interesting of what is to be a different way of living and what else was to happen.
I'm looking forward to seeing the next book and what is to be going on in it.
Sorry if I didn't describe the story in all of the book. So in the end of book 3
everyone is together in a way. Just now wondering how the togetherness is to change for everyone. If they are going to stay together. If anyone is going to get married and or is anyone going to become a family.
If the place on the new island going to finished for the couple. Or are they going to make it big enough for everyone to have a part in it. Are they going to keep it all together for everyone.
Or is the rest of the friends going to have a part of the island, for theirselves. They are going to keep seeing each other, at times, or are they going to be around each other all the time.
Then have all their kids grow up together.
Or are they going to be living in seperate areas? They're going to travel to be able to see one another.
What's going to happen in the next story? We'll see!

As the story continues, Celeste now has the death mark and is determined to find a way to beat it and avoid killing Fenrir. As they get closer to the eclipse the attacks intensify and not everyone survives but Celeste and Fenrir will do whatever is necessary to protect everyone and try to defeat the Solar Sovereign. Full of action and adventure, intrigue and suspense, you will not be able to put the book down as you follow all the twists and turns. A fitting ending to this story.

Celeste & Fenris story continues as they race against time to gather their allies to help protect them during the lunar eclipse. Celeste is determined to break Fenris' curse & also to overcome her own without causing his eternal death. The bond & love between the two of them has grown. Their friends are meeting their own partners & falling in love too. I really enjoyed this series despite myconfusion caused by the big jump at the start of book 2. I'd love more books to explore their friends own mate bonds.

What a Love Story!

I'm smitten by the love Fenris and Celeste have for each other. Wow, the depth of the love exhibiting out of the characters is one-of-a-kind book I sometimes come across to satiate my understanding of paranormal beings, and this book series rank at the top tier!
Well written, good plot and uniformity throughout and that is half the battle to keep readers engaged.

Almost sad to see these characters face and go about living their best lives for eternity, yet the most beautiful that everyone deserves happiness. 💕💕

The third book for this storyline and a must read!! She takes the characters even deeper into their web of trouble but keeps the romance and fated love so strong. More drama, romance, expanded characters, storyline answers and emotional roller-coaster. A must read to finish the storyline from the first two books.

Worth the wait. Struggles continue in book 3

You just feel the loss every time the Wolf Lord and his future Wolf Bride fight to stay together and survive the evil attacks from their enemy. With the eclipse nearing and time running out the future looks dim. I love the love between the Wolf Lord and his future Lunar Bride.
When I read the ending I was so disappointed that their story ended. I want more of the Wolf Lord and his Lunar Bride. Please continue the series.

>Book Review – Claimed by the Wolf Lord

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 3rd and final in the Lunar Bride series and ends in an HEA. Fenris finally figures out what was done to Celeste but doesn’t acknowledge it. There is, once again, a lot of planning and just a bit of action.

>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. The climax was quick and glossed over. I did love all of the couples and Celeste’s wolf.

Celeste was taken from Fenrir by the Solar Sovereign but when she was rescued she couldn’t talk about what happened or her orders. The Solar Sovereign put a death mark on her that would burn her inside out and has to kill Fenrir before the next full moon or die. Good book!.

Brilliant

I have read several books by this author and enjoyed them all, but this 3 book series called ‘The Lunar Bride’ is my favourite. There’s lots of excitement , the characters are well written and likeable. The storyline in my opinion has everything, including some sex and plenty of romance. Well worth reading.

Although a little drug out, I did enjoy reading this series

I enjoyed reading this series. I only gave it 3 stars because I got very bored during the second book and almost quit reading it... I feel like it was seriously drug out. The story picked up in the 3rd book though and I did enjoy reading the final book..

What an outstanding finnish to an amazing series. Without giving anything away this is as fast paced as the rest. There are, of course, plot twists, betrayals, new romances, action, battles and a superb, sweet ending.

Fabulous

I was simply wrapped up in this series beginning to the end. I couldn’t stop reading wanting to know what would happen next. While I realize books focus on the main characters I wish they would expand more into some more of the other essential characters as well. Either add a book or more maybe. However the story was well written and just fabulous!!!!

Good mix !

I love the writer , she has the same "qualities" we've come to expect in a shifter book but her attention to detail , nicely paints the picture and just adds something to it ! This book series has it all , love, lust, family, drama, comedy, fear , anger , etc ... Many I'm forgetting I'm sure .

XXX! Adult content, reader discretion advised. Celeste is racing against the clock to find the counter spell to the curse she was put under. If she can find a way to save herself she might be able go save her mate, Fenris.

Very sweet.

This is a very sweet ending to a very sweet story. Only a few gaping plot holes big enough to lose the Empire State Building in but who cares? The war is won and all is right with the world. Hurray! Did you really expect anything else?

Great read

I loved the different take on the paranormal world. Its always a joy to read books that have a variety of different paranormal type characters - especially when they pull together to pool their skills to achieve a common goal.

Intriguing series

I could not put this book down. I love reading about all things supernatural. Even the name of one of the main characters coming from stories od the gods was a nice touch. Great read.
