Amy Rafferty is an amazing story teller! She knows how to capture you & you never want to put her books down. Mistletoe lodge does just that! Heather made to come home after an injury to recover doesnt tell her family that part. Begins to help her grandmother with the lodge when she has a run in with Giles. Known by his reputation can she trust him... or does he win her over?

Her grandmother Priscilla is working with a person who might help save the Lodge from being taken over by a conglomerate. Giles Holland's specialty was saving smaller companies from being broken up. Can he help save Mistletoe Lodge?
And does Heather trust Giles? She only knows the foundation he ran that was the cause of a catastrophic incident in Africa. She hears his name and is so angry...vents at him directly... and then begins to know the man behind the name.

This is a very interesting and enjoyable book with an interesting plot. It starts with a wild Life veterinarian who is working in Africa and witnesses a great injustice that occurs when a foundation pulls out funding for a much needed dam. What results is death for the villagers and a loss of drinking water and water for crops. When she meets the man who funds the foundation she is very angry. He doesn’t know why. He is given the opportunity to find out the reason for her anger and can’t believe it is a foundation that indeed he funds. He investigates his foundation and cannot believe what he finds out. He and the vet become friends and fall in love. The truth is learned regarding his foundation and the proper criminals are arrested. HEA for H/h results. Recommend this book to everyone who likes a different plot.

Heather had no idea how her life would change over the holidays. Neither did Giles. Both have been hurt in the past and aren’t looking for a new relationship but fate has other plans.
A chance encounter, a fraudulent charity foundation, and a bald Eagle each play a part in this enchanting story.
The story lines in this book flow nicely with the first book in this series. It's a great second book, and if you've read the first one, you must read this one. If you haven't read the first one, I suggest you read Christmas at Mistletoe Lodge first and then New Year's at Mistletoe Lodge to get the whole picture.

A story that will draw you in and keep you turning pages.
Heather a wildlife veterinarian is an independent woman, who, in my opinion, doesn't want to need anyone, just her animals.
When she gets severely injured her boss sends her home for the holidays after a long recovery. She loves her family but doesn't want to necessarily let them into her life completely.
Giles is a self made millionaire. He is trying to help those who are in situations that were similar to his parents.
When these two meet attraction is there but they both must get past their own barriers.
Within the love story is also a small mystery. Who is using the foundation Giles has set up to steal money and harm people.
This was a wonderful holiday story.

This book has it all, , mystery, suspense, love, and surprises
Heather is returning to the family owned lodge for the holidays and to recuperate from a serious injury. Along the way, she meets Giles and is instantly drawn to him, but there are complications. So there is the problem of a fraudulent organization that used bad documents for one of Giles organizations. Then add an FBI agent, a executive assistant, an ex girlfriend to the mix and confusion abounds. Can Giles get everything straightened out before he loses Heather? Can Heather heal from reinjuring her wound?

Amy Rafferty always writes a winner and this does not disappoint! Who doesn't love a Christmas story? Heather Jessop is a wildlife veternarian, she was clawed by a baby jaguar and almost died; she never told anyone. She comes home to Mistletoe Lodge in Frisco Colorado to further rest, per doctors orders. Giles is working with Heather's grandmother; Pricilla to help save the Lodge. Sparks fly as Heather and Giles meet. Will she tell anyone about her leg? What will happen between Heather and Giles? Love the plot, great setting, and strong intense interesting characters.

Truly another beautiful, heartwarming story by Amy Rafferty who is without a doubt a phenomenal writer and story teller. Heather, the wildlife veterinarian suffers an attack from a baby Jaquar. She is home in Colorado in time to witness the spur of the minute wedding of Avery and Rhyder. Heather returns to Mistletoe Lodge for some rest and recuperation, she is thrown together with investor Giles. Heather blames him for a failed dam building project that resulted in tainted water. Giles launches an investigation and is surprised where the path leads. Is Heather ready to open her heart? Who can Giles trust?

Heather is a wild life vet, passionate about conservation and preservation. Giles is highly successful, rich and his companies and business are ethically run, but her attitude towards a fresh water project his company engaged in and then pulled is concerning because his foundation was not involved in it.
Both characters are strong and highly engaging. Business mixes with pleasure, misunderstandings and misrepresentations, deceit and betrayal all combine to provide and produce a romantic suspense storyline.

Heather Jessop is a wildlife veterinary explorer and gets wounded at a rescue and sent back home to recover at Mistletoe Lodge in Frisco, Colorado. In the meantime the lodge was going through a bad farce and she meets the new investor Giles Holland. Sparks fly at the first as Heather mistrusted Giles . There is a mystery that needs to be solved. A heart-warming read. I am on the ARC team and leave a honest review. I recommend this book to other readers.

typical romance
This was an easy read - lighthearted and predictable. But, it was enjoyable. I read this one immediately after I finished the first one in this series. Because of that, I noticed an obvious error. In the first book, Hank was described as an ex -hockey player. In this book, he was described as the ex-quarterback of the Denver Broncos. It doesn’t make a difference in the story, but I would hope someone would have cared enough to be accurate.

Another interesting & exciting read from Amy. You need to read Christmas At Mistletoe Lodge first. In this book you will read some events that have already been written from someone else’s viewpoint. You do finally get to New Year

Heather, a wildlife vet, had not been home for Christmas in awhile. But after being injured by a baby jaguar while rescuing it, she had to take a vacation and heal. Giles has decided to invest in Mistletoe Lodge and spend two weeks there. Liked how blown away by Heather, Giles is. Also how protective Jasper the eagle is. Heartwarming romance at its best, a wonderful read.

I really like the way the author describes mistletoe Lodge. I can picture how it looks. And I really enjoyed reading about Giles and Heather and the troubles that came about for them. Well we really don't get to spend New Years at the lodge due to unforeseen circumstances. But, we see Christmas from a different perspective , which I thought was very original.
Loved getting to know the real Heather and Giles and how they fit into the story.

Heather returned to heal from an injury and help her grandmother run the lodge. She goes to a dinner and Giles is there to ate and she’s not happy. She doesn’t want a date or be pushed into one. He feels the same way but fate has other plans for these two! What will happen next? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Not enough!
I really enjoyed this book. I like the depth of the two main characters. I also like that they came from different backgrounds &lifestyles. Both were driven people with strong goals in their lives. Both had been deceived by loved ones & moved on. I didn't like the end. Read this book & decide for yourself.

Where have all the proof readers gone?
This is a cute story, and I love how the timeline flows in regard to the first book in this series. HOWEVER, the misspelled words, the missing words, and the words that change the sex of the character from he to she and back to he again are so irritating! This seems to be the new norm in so many books and it’s very frustrating!

I LOVE Mistletoe Lodge! I loved everything about this book! It's not only a sweet romance with fun characters but a heartwarming story about family. A fabulous and entertaining book that was a joy to read. Really put me in the Christmas spirit. I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

Wonderful conclusion to the Holiday Romance Novel series. Filled with the same characters as the first novel, it finishes the plot line begun in book 1. Filled with lots of Christmas wonder, a touch of mystery, and a bundle of romance, this was a great finish to the series.

Heather and Giles story is so interesting and unexpected. Mistletoe Lodge seems like a magical place and these two can't help but fall in love, not matter how hard they try not to. This was a great holiday story.

a Great Love Story

Finding Love Again!
Near at Mistletoe lodge: it was a wonderful addition to the series! I really enjoyed the challenges that Heather went through with her injury and not letting on to her family on what happened. I really enjoyed it!
