No secret I’m a fan of Nicola Janes books going into this one i was a little skeptical because I generally don’t like the h being law enforcement in an MC book but i enjoyed this one. The heroine was strong and feisty and our hero wasn’t an OTT jerk. Good story line, my only complaint because let’s be honest there’s always one, the OW just disappeared she took a good Jab at the h after all the crap came out then just disappeared… I wanted her to get their HEA rubbed in her face -I’m petty like that 🤷🏼♀️

Weird reading it from a uk perspective tbh, I found it all a bit unbelievable.
Then again the seedy side of club life drugs, prostitution etc actually spoilt this for me cos being a brit it was all too real, not sexy, not romantic, not nice. Theres nothing likeable about that seedy side of life n I like to keep my bikers in fantasy land not hard core reality.
Ok says its brit English n obviously its set in northern UK where I'm from yet spoils it by talking about the feds. Fed being short for federal which we dont have in the UK, so it just sounded fake n silly. We are not a country of federal states, we are a United Kingdom of four countries .
The whole situation seemed far fetched but then not so. Axel claiming her all of a sudden was a bit too insta love for me.
I've decided I dont want to read UK biker books, they knock me out of the story too much.

Another FMC written poorly.
This book made me mad!
The premise was good and started out ok...then went downhill fast.
It was all tell, he did this I said that etc. Got a bit monotonous after a while. The plot needed work but even all those were forgivable.
My low rating was for the way the FMC is treated, portrayed and he reactions.
Why do authors insist on writing the FMC as such weak willed, spineless and so desperate for love/validation etc that the abuse the MMC did is suddenly acceptable and zero apology necessary because she loves him. There was sod all grovel. Nothing. I would have had more respect for her had she left and then he chased her to say sorry and bloomin well mean it. For as long as it took to get her back. He used and abused her as did the bosses albeit differently. I read and then skimmed this book and idk. I'm so damn tired of books been hyped that basically normalise having zero self respect and sense of worth cos the FMC loved the main man. Just no.

Nicola Jane's books can be infuriating, but that's why I read them. There will always be possible cheating and club girls. But this new MC series is tame compared to her others. Axel was more golden retriever than asshole.

This is the best cop/criminal romance I’ve ever read. I normally hate the trope. Mainly because The book did an excellent job of exploring the conflict of interest inherent in a cop/criminal relationship. Lexi had to make some difficult decisions and there were often no good choices to be made. I enjoyed the relationship and watching it build, and it was fast. Not quite Instalove but close. And it was interesting that Axel had to face the consequences for making such a hasty decision to claim her as his Old Lady. I also liked that the MC members were not white-hatted cowboys helping children cross the street. These guys were more complex than that. So many MC romances portray the club as having virtually unlimited funds while the members do very little work. I’ve often thought that even crime requires some work if you want to get a steady income from it. I appreciated that this club was struggling a little bit financially.
I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited, and I’d read it again.

I loved Axel and Lexi's story. Axel is Pres of The Chaos Demons MC and was recently released from prison. Lexi was a police officer living with her dad before she decided to transfer to another station to help with her career. She releases that she has been set up and chosen to go undercover and insert herself in the MC Club. She manages to gain entry under the guise of looking for her mother Widow, who is still with the club. Will the MC club find out who she really is apart from Widow's daughter and what will happen to her if they find out? Things start to get hot and steamy between her and Axel. How will this affect her career and decisions in her undercover job?

Axel is the start of another great MC series by Nicola Jane. It has grit, action and steamy romance. Axel is the new President of the Chaos Demons.He is fresh out of prison and needs to get the MC in shape, earning money. Lexi is a young cop who due to circumstances in her background make her desired by her superiors to go undercover in the MC.
Lexi is able to break through to Axel's tough exterior. When she develops feelings for Axel while undercover, she finds her self in a very difficult position. The characters are very well developed and am loving the world to which we are being introduced. These guys regularly get their hands dirty and see violence as a way of life. Even with all of that I can't wait to get to know them better.

Damn was this book wrought with so many lies you could just see it all crumbling as soon as Lexi started her con. I really felt for Axel knowing he had already spent time in jail because of someone else for him to feel like he has found that 1 even with the hiccup of being older only to be tricked infront of his brothers aswell as his ex.
Lexi grew up around the MC without even knowing it, it seems that alot of lies and cons are a part of her everyday life until Axel gives her one little detail she could never remember. Will this revelation give her the answers to wanting to stay with Axel.
Loved the start to a new series and getting to know the boys in the club, there's always one bad apple at the start that needs sorting out, gotta love the drama.

I Couldn’t Put This Book Down
I know this is probably starting to sound old but this author just slays it for me with her MC books because they are always packed full of action, steam and suspense. This is one of those 3am books because I couldn’t put it down.
Axel is now out of prison and has come back to claim his position as Prez of the Chaos Demons MC. Lexi is a cop who just got a new job in a new town but was brought there under false pretenses. They want her to go undercover in a club to try to bring it down. She had no idea that Axel would have that kind of pull on her. I loved watching Axel fall for Lexi but when things start to come out everything is thrown off kilter.
All I can say is this book was a 5+++ star rating for me and I highly recommend it.

I just loved this book so much. Axel and Lexi were a very complex couple and their story was very intense but so very very good. I was on tenterhooks waiting to see how it was all going to play out and my heart was racing every step of the way. The characters were all interesting and very strong in their determination to do their best for the MC. Axel set my pulse racing with his sexy demeanour and his relationship with Lexi was always going to be explosive especially with the fact that she was an undercover police officer. This book will reel you in so be prepared for an all nighter because you will not be able to put this book down.

2.5* actually for a somewhat interesting story, but the FL was unlikeable for the most part & I didn't get the insta-love on the part of the ML. Taking place in the UK made for a convoluted story & mentioning feds as if it's the US was confusing. If you don't do enough research to make a location believable, then you screw up the details all around. The tension from the secrecy of the FL lasted from the beginning to almost the end, so it was tough reading with that always between them. It was an ok read, but I just have trouble enjoying a story when I dislike one of the MLs throughout most of the book.

I know this is fiction but you made it smto stupid to believe. First when you go under cover, you won't just walk outside and make the call to police. You would not be seen so much with your handler. You handler would not call you and be upset you dont talk every other day.
From the start her meeting with people who knew she was a cop but trust them because its the first time meeting them. Please just stop the stupid.
Make it a little realistic, this was just so fake. She would of been dead, he would looked at her phone ans seen all the calls.

Best MC romance I’ve read in awhile. Lexi was a strong h and her relationship with Axel was truly compelling. There were ups and downs for them, but in the end, I wholeheartedly believed in their HEA.
Another thing I liked about this book was Lexi’s realistic reaction to her first sexual experiences. So often in these books, the FMCs love doing everything and anything with the MMC immediately, because they’re so in lust. This book took a more realistic view on that and it was refreshing!

This is the second MC I’ve read by this author and it appears that they’re all set in England, which is a different take on MC romance. It is a bit weird trying to picture this unfold in the U.K. but only because it’s not something I’m use to reading. It takes nothing away from the story. Axel was a good story. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the back story and how it connected to present day. I will definitely go onto read Grizz, because he has me intrigued. If you like MC romance then this is one for you.

This book from start to finish was full on action , intense feelings & bbetrayal
Help helped save her from an awful upbringing with her junkie mother whose a club w***e , when she waltzed back into his life it hit him like a bullet train they both fell quickly and then the betrayal between axel , the club and Lexi hit and things were said and bad things happened, I honestly couldn’t put it down from start to finish in a day it was completely read and I absolutely loved it

Axel and Lexi's story was so good I couldn't put it down. She's a cop he's the president of The Chaos Demons MC. Lexi is a strong independent women and full of sass. Axel is a grumpy alpha biker. Lies, deceit, truths revealed, steam, love, loyalty, brotherhood this book has it all. Just when you think things are going on way, it goes in a totally different direction that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Axel brings us the best of both worlds so to speak. We have Axel, President of the Chaos Demons MC and Lexi who's a Law Enforcement Officer. What could they possibly in common you ask? Well let me tell you. The chemistry in these two are completely over the top HOT, she's fierce as h*^* and everything Axel needs. She gives him a run for his money that's for sure but when her true identity is revealed is when things really get sticky. This is when they find out how strong their love really is.

Goodness, great start for a new MC series.
Lexi who is a cop is sent undercover in the clubhouse to find information against the President Axel and the brother's. Her character is strong, sassy and determined.
Alex, well he is yum. He just got out of prison and is trying to get the club back on track. Together their chemistry is off the charts.
Danger lurks along with betrayal.
Just wish we saw more into the future with these two. Can't wait until the next book.

Axel by Nicola Jane is book 1 in the Chaos Demons MC series and….I’m loving it!!! It’s the story of Axel and Lexi (Mouse). He’s back and the new Pres of the MC. Lexi is a cop, asked to infiltrate the MC undercover, to discover their secrets. But, their attraction threatens to ruin everything!!!
Loved Axel! Loved Lexi!! Was totally immersed in the engrossing story line!!! Sooooooooo good!!! The depth between them was palpable…and the anguish even worse!! Excellent read!!!

I was excited to read a new MC series from one of my favourite authors and I was not disappointed
I was on edge knowing what would happen if she was found out, angry at the blatant disregard for her safety by her superior officers and hurt for her with the way her mum treats her
Axel is now the pres, he remembers little Lexi/mouse running round the club as a tot while her mum did what club girls do till she was rescued by her daddy.
Their story is gripping, exciting and pretty hot

Axel and Lexi's story is one wild ride! Their story had me from the beginning! Once I was reading I read it in one sitting. I had to know how it all played out. There are no slow moments. Their story could cause your kindle to burn! There is plenty of action, danger, lies, betrayal, fears, chemistry, desire and more. Who do you trust in a 1% club? What will happen when truths are revealed? Can a HEA happen? Check it out and see. Highly recommend! Can't wait for the next book! 😉😈❤️🔥
