As far as stories with overpowered protagonists goes, it's okay. There's some enjoyment in seeing side characters be amazed by the protagonist. There's serviceable worldbuilding. There's chracter progression in the main character.
But throughout the book, I was waiting for the big payout — the moment when the protagonist finally gets to flex her power in a cathartic finish. But the end was just okay.

I also want to say, there's way too much exposition. The author at least had the good sense to spread out exposition across chapters, and only writes them when relevant, but there's so much of it that the pacing is terrible. I skimmed most of it.

Now that I think about it, a large bulk of the story was just side characters praising the main character (in their minds). The other large bulk was exposition expositing about a mostly standard medievel-ish fantasy world.

Overall, I don't recommend this book.

In the afterword, the author notes that this was originally his first attempt at a web novel, and it definitely shows. I’d say the first 60% of the book reads more like a sedate slice-of-life story about a demon and then later a baby girl.

But around that 60% mark, the author finally finds his footing. We finally get a proper look at the Devil Princess in all her glory, and a sense of what the rest of the series might actually look like.

In the end, most of this volume feels like a long prologue for the real story to begin, but I’m intrigued enough to come back for Volume 2.

It's an enjoyable read, however the pacing is a little off. The narrative jumps around trying to tell a story of multiple story lines at once and establish a lot of different characters, so this books feels a little exposition heavy.

It honestly feels more like a prologue to the series, so hard to make up a mind yet. Interesting concepts and ideas, with some eyebrow rising moments.

Wow, something a little different in the isekai genre. Character isekai'd to Demon Realm as a demon then isekai'd to human realm. A combination of hidden identity, wolf in sheep's clothing, and OP character tropes make a great read. Negatives are slow build up and unrealistic acting/sounding children, both mainstays of Biyori's books, for better and for worse.

start off little slow but the storyline does progress nicely

A different sort of Isekai with a plot twist. The plot has an interesting story line. Cannot wait to see how the story progress.
