I refuse to accept this ain’t love for Rhoni and Dreaux. So, I’ma need Rho to buckle up and hold Dreaux down during his four year bid. I’ma need Rho to keep money on Dreaux’s books and pull up every other weekend for a conjugal visit if that kind of thing is allowed. I’ma need Rho to send our boo weekly letters to uplift his sprits while he’s doing his time. I’ma need Rho standing on the other side of the gate gleefully waiting on Dreaux to walk out when he’s finally released. This may not have started out as love with these two but, I’ma need it to end that way. Rhoni and Dreaux definitely deserve a love journey that extends past 49 pages and I think I speak for all of the readers when I say 🗣️ we want more Rhoni and Dreaux!!!

Ok I’m going to need y’all to rename this series to “This ain’t love but it could be” or “This ain’t love but it’s bound to be” because I need a whole full length novel after reading about Rhoni and Dreaux!! Why were these two everything!!!!!!

Both were looking to escape life’s woes and man did they have their fair share! We all deserve one night of letting it all go and giving in to the desires of the flesh and baby the flesh was fleshing!

While this one wasn’t as spicy as some of the others in the series, Rho and Dreaux were a whole vibe and had me in my feelings!

K.C I hope these characters are still talking to you because we need an update after these 4 years are up!

A night to escape

Rhoni and Dreaux were both trying to escape the cards life had dealt. A lost bet led to them pursuing more...a full night of pleasure. Together they were able to find a release in each other.

These two were sexy. Dreaux's confidence and the way he ensured Rho was extremely pleased was everything. As much as Rho desired to be in control, Dreaux had her unraveled. They even ventured into new territory for Rho. I know this ain't love, but I wouldn't be mad at seeing this couple in the future because it felt unfinished.

Damn K.C.! Got a whole movie reel going on in my head, after that one! Whew! I wanna know who giving out pool lessons ya’ll? Ma’am I don’t know how you got all that sexy goodness in 49 pages, I didn’t want it to end!

Rho and Dreaux were lighting up them kindle pages. My fingertips are numb, cause they were on 🔥! Now, Rho is a smart girl. I could see her finding a loophole in Dreaux’s case, or getting the low on Shi, to lessen his time on a technicality. Dreaux done got turned out and is feeling some thangs for this woman! He gone find a way back to Rho believe that! Revisiting this couple is a must! Damn, that was good!

Quick and oh my goodness!

Okay, this was the shortest story I've read by this author. It was super quick and tagged my senses with a resounding sensual flair. I cannot tell you either characters name right now because it wasn't that important, with all the sensory overload to my brain. I'm still processing this quick read with a lasting impression.

Wow

I love KC Mills shorts but this one left me a little hurt! 😭😩 Rhoni and Dreaux meet in a bar both dealing with issues. Heartbreak for Rhoni and Dreaux his situation is a little more bleak. A competitive game of pool leads to a night of passion and hope for what if. And when I believed in a what-if that ending brought me back to reality 😭. We can't get an epilogue or something?? 😩 I still loved this and will probably be reading this again because this one night was so good! Ugh! I hate to beg BUT this is a HFN that I want to be an HEA 😩☹️❤️. Still, read this book!

Two people desperately trying to flee from their worries and anxieties embarked on a night that started on the pool table and ended in the bedroom. Yall, there’s something about a K.C. Mills book that leaves you wanting more. “Rhoni & Dreaux” is no exception because their chemistry alone had me enthralled. Rhoni is a woman after my own heart because like me, she loves to challenge men on the pool table. She met her match in Dreaux and I can tell you now, she enjoyed taking that L!! LOL! Dreaux is a modern day Robin Hood who won me over with his self-assurance and loyalty. Dammit these two would make the MOST IDEAL COUPLE!!! They share the same interests, hobbies and they make passionate love. I realize this isn't about love but the back-story and development is top-notch and I am humbly requesting a continuation of this couple. If you’re looking for something short, sexy and fulfilling, this is it .

Beautifully Done

So out of all the books that I did read from the series, this one did it for me. Dreaux was very arrogant and surprisingly I liked it. Rhoni was taking the 🍆 every which way but loose. I also agree with all of my fellow book sisters that we need more of these two. I too want to see what could happen in 4 years. The two were so good together. This could definitely be love.

From a game of pool to the bedroom.

Dreaux has one night before he gotta sit down for a few of years. Running into Rhoni was possibly the best thing or the worse thing. After a bet on a game of pool these to spend a whole night experiencing and exploring each other. Dreaux gave Rhoni the business and it was much needed. K.C. gave us a quick spicy read and you won’t be disappointed.

Rhoni & dreaux had no limits and got me wanting more of them. But I guess I gotta remember This Ain’t Love.

If I was Rho, I would’ve been contemplating wanting to hold Dreaux down after he gave me all that 🍆 and treated my body like that before he had to turn himself in for 4 years. I am locked into the "This Ain't Love" series but I'm also hopeful again that Rhoni and Dreaux run into each other in four years maybe sooner with good behavior. Another short, spicy, sensual read. This series is also putting me onto so many authors I haven't read before. Love that for me!

I can’t help but to cry and laugh at this point because K.C. Did it again she did me dirty in twenty-four three and now in Rhoni and Dreaux. These short stories she’s dropping I love them but those endings are torturing me like not one HEA she keeps leaving me with what ifs and unquestionable futures like she is catching me in traps it’s not acceptable🤣. So imma ask again if we can get a part 2 for this one as well so you got two more books to write 👀. You can’t be writing these capturing characters w chemistry and leave us in the desert!!! So this is a begging review !

4.25 🌟 This was such a deliciously enjoyable one night stand, and Dreaux is MY kinda of nasty in all ways! I already know he got Rhoni's head messed up for the next four years because he turned my girl every which way but loose. A good time was had to say the least! And I'm already on to the sequel because I need these two to get their HEA.

A way to end off this series. I hate to see Rhoni and Dreaux leave. They vibe was all that and the chemistry was 🔥🔥. They was alike in so many ways. I can honestly see them becoming more. This kept me entertained. Imma need more of them cause their vibe was too lit to let this pass over.

In a matter of a few months, KC Mills has become an auto-read author for me. Her stories always hit me in the gut emotionally, and I love it. So when I saw this novella, it was a no-brainer to put everything down and eat this up.

Rhoni and Dreaux make a friendly wager over a game of pool, with Dreaux knowing he will be taking a little vacation. When they realize this one-and-done has more of a pull than they bargained for the book ends!!!!

Now we are left pining for what could have been. As crazy as it sounds I would reread it. KC Mills is worth it.
