One Question Leads to Another
Wow, what an ending…. well, that is, if you can call it an ending. It’s really a new mystery that could lead to danger. Is there a murderer in the midst? Just what was that Reynolds woman discovering? Makes you wonder if those library ‘break-ins’ hold a clue.
If all this isn’t enough, what is up with Lilly? Supposedly she’s the missing sister… well, half sister. Hmmm, is she really? My very first ‘meet-up’ with her, something just didn’t seem right. Why no DNA test? Are they just going to take her word? Who is she really? What is she up to?
Feelings grow between Marcus and Jenelle. Will he be able to protect her when the heat builds? What about Jenelle’s dad? Why would he abandon his own child when she was only10, and she’s never heard from him since. It certainly makes one wonder what his role is/was in all these mysteries. And is he truly her dad? I keep wondering about the elusive ‘J’…..???
Again, answers to questions only open up new mysteries. Janelle finds a new will hidden under the floorboards but is afraid to read it. What does that will say? Who benefits and who loses? Did Clarissa (mother) know she was in danger and wrote a new will to tell all? Also, if her mother disliked her so much, why keep a sentimental photo book of Jenelle? Seems like there’s more to all this than meets the eye. I still want to know why they wouldn't do the autopsy that Jenelle wanted done... will it reveal death from unnatural cause? If so, who is powerful enough to stop it from happening?
I hope the next book picks up on more answers and less unnecessary filler talk.
