Although there was no Bible verse that opened this seventh book, there has been one starting most of the seven books of this special series. The scriptures fit well with each story. Most of the books of this 13-book series begin with a Bible verse relevant to the events to occur. I like that very much and haven’t seen that done in any other series I’ve read.
I like that God is recognized because I typically read cozy mysteries and usually religion and beliefs are not mentioned. Then again, I’m sure there are plenty of Christian cozy mysteries out there! I also like that the Christianity is subtle enough that I know it’s there and God is in the forefront, but His presence is not made to be so extreme that I feel the writer’s beliefs are being pushed on me.
This is such a great series I’m in love with. Callaghan has created an island full of beautiful views of the beach, ideal settings from porches, and warm and inviting town folk. I want to live on Easton Island! Maybe one day I’ll have my own little slice of paradise though.
As long as no Jason - type man lives there - he isn’t a good person. In fact, he did make an appearance in this book and it wasn’t good. At all. It made me very angry at how disillusioned he is - quite the narcissist! However, as I stated in the previous book’s review, I believe there is a reason for everything that happens in our lives whether that be a tragedy or a seemingly insignificant incident as it helps to shape our lives. However, I’m not sure what good will come from stupidhead Jason and what he did.
What happened in this book:
Grandmother finds a special Daisy.
Morgan runs into a zoning problem.
Quinn and Brett still believe they’re “only friends”.
Ronni is on vacation away from the island.
Morgan and Wyatt reveal secrets to each other.
Morgan and Grandmother meet with a quirky lady.
Morgan can’t pull out any stops… in her car…
Morgan takes everyone for a ride in a rare speedracer.
Grandmother meets with a friend that makes the usually stoic woman blush.
Morgan gets closer to Wyatt.
Chester helps the police save the day!
Morgan speaks from the heart.
More of Morgan’s dreams are coming true.
And so much more!
Everything works out for nearly everyone in the end in ways I wouldn’t have ever guessed. So gooood. There were moments I was so stressed out for Morgan though! I had to quickly read through a lot of the book just so I knew what happened and I could stop stressing! I mean, I figured everything would turn out just fine but I couldn’t wait through those few pages to find out!
Be sure to stick around once the book is finished because there is a recipe at the very end. The recipe in this book is Pouding Chômeur (Maple Pudding). It’s basically flour, sugar, milk, butter and water topped with maple syrup, brown sugar, butter, and water. Then bake it. Yum! 😋 I’m going to keep this recipe so I can make it soon.
Next in this great cozy mystery series is book 8, “Once and For All.” Can’t wait!

With God, all things are possible
What a wonderful addition to the continuing story of Easton Island. We have clarity to some issues, questions about new ones and intrigue as mysteries start to unravel. This is a gentle page turner to be sure.
Plans and improvement are moving right along on schedule for the new airport and should be operational by the time tourist season starts. Locke Pointe, the former home of our main character Morgan's deceased grandparents and future home of Easton Islands newest Bed and Breakfast, however, has hit a snag as zoning is denied due to lack of significant available parking for its expected volume of guests. There are many challenges to face in order to find available land adjacent to the property to accommodate the parking need, but Morgan is determined to find a way.
Meanwhile, Morgan's ex-husband, who is supposed to be locked away in jail awaiting trial for his previous crimes manages parole and causes alarm when suspicious activities start happening... brakes on her new SUV fail, Chester, Morgan's sweet fog, appears more alert on the goings on in the yard and other incidences occur.
We spend time with Elizabeth,Morgan's grandmother as well as Quinn, Morgan's best friend and roommate. Best of all, we witness the relationship between Morgan and Wyatt, her police officer boyfriend bloom as he pucks up on a mysterious conversation she has with him on the phone and he ends up saving her life.
This book is wonderful with the promise of so much more to come. I've already preordered the next book in the series and hope there are many more to come!!!!!!

LOCKE LEGACY
Although I think I say it every time,this is my favorite book of the Series! Morgan wants to turn the Locke House into a Bed & Breakfast & has applied to the Planning Commission to redone it! She is very disappointed that she is turned down due to inadequate parking space. As she sets about doing what she needs to do to secure space, she checks on the Airport Renovation & is pleaded to see it is all coming together. There is only one problem she hears about. A foolish judge in Florida has let Jason out on bail with a new tracking system that supposedly will make it impossible for him to leave the State.
Each book talks more about her precious grandmother & how their relationship grows. She feels at home in Easton Island. Now if she can convince the islanders that she wants to help the residents & not ruin their island!

Locke Legacy Fight
This book finds Morgan Easton ready to open her new B&B. She finds that it will not be easy to do as roadblocks are discovered making it a great possibility she will be unable to open at all. Throw in her mentally unstable ex husband that shows up and means to get his fair share of Morgan's inheritance and Morgan is stressed to the max. And we’re back to the lovely island. In this book we learn about how Morgan is trying to keep the legacy of her mom alive.
Her romance with Walt is going good, and everything‘s coming up daisies. Until she finds out that her Request to rezone the Locke Point House to make a B and B has been denied.
Can she figure out what’s going on and make it right or will dream die.
As usual there’s always the family around, and her BFF Quinn, and of course we can’t miss Chester. I love Chester! He’s so cute and I wish I had one like him.

Mysteries, intrigue, romance and more are in each one of these books in this series. Finding out everything about your father and the rest of your family including a brother, your twin dying to having another one not much younger than you are is amazing. Having your soon to be ex husband try to get something from what your Mother left you and all the sunset troubles from him can really play on your emotions. Can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Yet Another Great Book by Hope Callaghan!
I read this 7th installment of the Easton Island Family Saga Series in less than a day. I simply couldn't put it down and wish book 8 was ready to read! I've pre-ordered book 8 and can hardly wait until it is available! Anyone who loves Hope Callaghan's series' should read all of the first seven books in order to catch up on the Easton family. I believe I'm now caught up on every book Ms. Callaghan has written! I only wish she could write and publish her books faster!

Easton Island: Locke Legacy is a good addition to the series. The characters are likeable and there is enough going on to keep it interesting. Morgan Easton now lives on Easton Island. She wants to turn her grandparents former home into a B&B. She runs into some zoning problems and she is concerned about her ex-husband Jason being on parole. Morgan has Police boyfriend Wyatt, her best friend Quinn, her half brother Brett and her grandmother all there for support. This is an enjoyable series. #EastonIslandLockeLegacy

The family sag
I appreciate the storytelling, but I find the narrative could benefit from more concise pacing. While the books are engaging, the family saga tends to meander, making it challenging to maintain focus. The story would be more compelling if it were more tightly edited, potentially condensing the multiple volumes into two or three books. Reducing repetitive elements and streamlining the plot would help maintain reader interest and provide a more direct, impactful reading experience.

I have read and enjoyed every one of the Easton Island series books. This one brings a few problems to light and gets them solved. Morgan has the airport being built on schedule and has grand plans for her grandparents house on the Locke end to become a wonderful Bed & Breakfast! I’m already looking forward to reading the next one, book 8, in the series! I received a free ARC of this book and write this review voluntarily.

Excellent Series!
The Easton Island series is an excellent read!! Good, clean mystery with lots of twists. The heroine, Morgan Easton, is smart, believable and prays for guidance during the story. The trials she faces and overcomes has you cheering one moment and crying the next. Excellent storyline! I own lots of Hope Callaghan’s books and enjoy every single one. The next novella in the series. I strongly recommend reading the books in order due to the continuing story line. The main character's ex-husband again shows up, despite being out on bail with a monitoring system, and not permitted to leave the state of Florida. Fortunately, the issue of the ex seems to be resolved. An enjoyable read with some issues resolved, some carrying over to the next book.

I love this heartwarming series by Hope Callaghan! This time Morgan works to solve a problem regarding her planned bed-and-breakfast, and worries that her ex-husband is stalking her. As always, Ms. Callaghan delivers an expertly written multi-layered mystery with a strong plot and well developed characters. There are enough twists to keep the pages turning in this sweet family oriented book. I enjoyed this book and am eagerly looking forward to the next in the series.

A few problems along the way just reinforce her belief that staying on the island and continuing the legacy is the right decision. Five stars
This has been a very entertaining series. I have been binging this series since I started it. It's been such a change from the two cozy mysteries that I have followed of Ms Callaghan! I love all of her series and definitely recommend this one. Start with book one though so you can get to know the characters from the beginning. They will draw you into the plot. Kudos!

The story continues....
Even tho it's a few months between book releases, every time I start reading the new book, I jump right back into the story like no time had passed.
I really like this series and wonder how it's all going to come together.

suspenseful
Jason tears his ugly head again keeping you biting your nails! Fortune finally smiles on Locke Pointe and Morgan is hopeful of creating a legacy for her grandparents. Wyatt and Morgan are growing closer and Grandma Elizabeth is hoping great-grandchildren are in her future. Great read. Ends with hope future will be bright.

Another great (story) book.
I absolutely could not put it down. I WA worn out from driving to Missouri from NC and back to see my brother before he passed and then going straight to Myrtle Beach to play golf for four days. I started read and read it all before I could go to sleep. Great book, as

This series was the so well written I could see why event that happened. All of the drama of Jason and the divorce. Her mother dying and the move. Quinn joining there. Meeting her brother Brett and getting to know her grandma. Moving into her old house. All of the new things in everyones lives. I hope Hope will write more great books.

So good
Locke Legacy, book 7 of the Easton Island Family Saga Series is the best yet! Adventure, love, joy and tears of relief await as the story develops. I anticipate book 8 and the beautiful ending that Hope Callaghan has in store.
Locke Legacy, book 7 of the Easton Island Family Saga Series is the best yet! Adventure, love, joy and tears of relief await as the story develops. I anticipate book 8 and the beautiful ending that Hope Callaghan has in store.

Warm and Cozy
This is just the type of reading I find to be comforting and all consuming. The characters are real and remind you of your very own friends and family. I am looking forward to the next in the series. Hope Callaghan is indeed one of my favorite authors.

outstanding Series
The Locke Legacy series has been a wonderful journey. The portrayal of family interactions is carefully woven in a way that makes the characters so real you feel like you know them. I am eagerly waiting for the next adventure. Nicely done!

Amazing read. This is yet another Great book in Hope Callaghan’s series that is very intriguing and the characters come to life. The mystery makes it so interesting that you can’t help but turn page after page to see what happens next. Highly recommend this book

A must read for Easton Island devotees
I love this series. As with all of Ms Callaghan's stories the reader is drawn into the characters lives. They almost become like family. Looking forward to many more books in this series.

I truly enjoy this series, the cast of characters are great, and I cannot wait to find out what happens next at each turn of the page. What I love most is that hope Callaghan mentions God and faith often in each series.

I like the author combines romance with mystery and suspense. Morgan and Chester are a great team together, and I hope that can eventually commit to marriage and a child before her Grandmother passes to the other side.
