***I was given this book as part of a Goodreads giveaway***

This children's book is great for beginning readers and can be used again and again as children develop their language skills. Each page has counting activities, and when the flaps are opened on each page, it prompts more questions for the child to explore and find additional images on each page. All items are labelled and brightly coloured, giving children plenty to explore. Beautifully illustrated, and sturdy. Would certainly hold up against toddlers and young children.

*I won a free copy from Goodreads, but that is in no way affecting my review*

This is a fun counting book with beautiful and unique illustration. Actually requires counting, as each page has extra pictures that should not be included in the count. That also requires kids to decipher what fits the category, and what doesn't. Some are easier (butterflies) but some get harder (things that go). Because of these categories and extra pictures, there is a lot than can be done with this one as the child grows! And of course, children love to lift the flaps in books! This one is a winner!
