Knotty Pines #4

Tame Me: Part 2

Rate this book
When Madison seems to have finally gotten her dream pack, her camgirl past threatens their new foundation…

Madison finally has a place to call home with the Kings. Except the moment she begins to settle into her new life, the Lancasters threaten her new found security by blackmailing her in order to keep her pack silent.

This forces the Kings to decide between getting revenge or protecting their reluctant omega. Madison, however, refuses to be the reason for her pack’s downfall. That leaves few options and most of them don’t look good. So, what’s a brat to do when the world threatens to fall apart? Make a scene, of course.

Her mates, however, have other plans. The King pack decides a holiday is exactly what they need to keep their wild omega safe and out of trouble. During their getaway, relationships within the pack develop and new bonds are formed. Vacations, however, always end.

As they’re thrust back into the world of politics and business, the pack must decide once and for all how to take down LanCo. and expose Lancaster’s dark plans. Help comes in the unlikeliest of places as the King Pack learns to rely on one another in order to fight for the future they want.

This is Part 2 of a duet. HEA guaranteed.

This was 80% kinky smut, about 10% cute relationships, and 10% plot. And I didn’t mind one bit.
I’ve grown to love these characters so so much, each one of them has a special place in my heart.

Vincent and Madison together are absolutely my favs (pls I want that😫) but Avery and Alex were such a power duo. Nic and puppy were so adorable and somehow the most normal of the bunch.

Very cute with low angst and LOTS and LOADS of yummy kinky smut.

I just finished this newest release by Sirena last night and it was a perfect ending for this duet.

I love the character of Madison so much, her hilarious scheming, the sweetness and love she shows her pack mates, and the way she knows just what each one of them needs.

The pack is delightful, I love them all, with an extra soft spot for Luca, the big teddy bear or puppy that he is. I'm so glad that Madison helped push Avery and Alex together and that Alex finally got his head out of his ass.

This book contained lots of spice, lots of sweetness, drama, and some danger. It was great.

I received an ARC copy of the book but I'm leaving this review voluntarily.

Very heavy on the smut in all flavors - I recommend reading this series for the scenes, not the story. I didn't find the underlying blackmail/take down plot that interesting tbh, and it dragged on much longer than it needed to with a pretty wimpy conclusion.

Rating 4 stars purely for the spice.

The book was a 3 ⭐️, but with how overtalked the plotline was compared to how it played out so easily, had me downgrading it to a 2⭐️

Filling In The Gaps

This book starts right off from the end of part 1, and we get full fledged drama right from the start 🙌🏻 The 1st book was just the tip of the iceberg for Madison & her guys because things go to a whole new level in this book. That includes the suspense, action, danger, and even better, the passion, spice, romance & love. While we learned so much about Madison, and saw her grow in so many ways in part 1, in this book we truly get to see her blossom & become a full version of the omega we had so many glimpses of in the 1st book. That goes for her guys too. If you thought you knew everything, you were wrong lol. You will find yourself falling even further under their spell, just like Madison does 😉 I absolutely loved watching the guys prove to Madison how much she was loved by them, and that she would always belong with them, no matter who, or what, might try to come between them. Not to mention some of the methods they used to prove that devotion 😉😝🥵🔥 It was even better though getting to see the bonds strengthen, and new bonds form, between everyone in the pack. It was so satisfying watching all of them grow as individuals as their pack bonds grew stronger 🥰 In this book they finally truly become a pack of family members instead of a pack of people who work together & some of whom happen to be related. This book was so satisfying & worth the wait, and that’s especially because of that ending & the extra help they got 👀🤨🙌🏻 I loved this duet so much more than I thought I would. Not gonna lie, I even found myself in tears a few times, so I know it was good 😭😉😂 That’s why I plan on revisiting it often in the future, and now I can’t wait for the rest of the story on the Jackson pack 💖

This is a new favorite omegaverse for sure. I liked the first one in the series (focused on a different pack), but this one hit differently. In part because the heroine is the mean girl from the first book and her pack of heroes were the controlling alphaholes the first heroine escaped. And of course, none of them are exactly what they seem so it all played out and kept me on my toes.

Madison is a great omega, bratty and self protecting in response to a world that has only ever taken advantage of her. And this uptight pack of alphas who court her to spin a media storm rather than for herself are forced to reckon with finding their mate. And she wants nothing to do with them besides fill out their contract and split with the money once the time is up.

And these boys. It took me a bit to get them all straightened out in my head, but they all have distinct personalities and motivations. And I was a little worried about the fact that three of the guys are related, but it doesnt come up a lot and they have their own dynamics with Madison even in a group scene, so I was able to ignore it.

This was such a unique spin on traditional omegaverse dynamics that I know this one is going to stick with me for a while. I need more scheming omegas please.

If we would have just taken the like 10 pages of plot and added them to a slimer book one this could have been a fairly good story.

This book is like 99% smut with an awkward pacing issue. Book one ended with something "dramatic" and things "escalating" in a way that should make you want to read book two. Book Two starts with an "oh no" scene, smut scene, smut scene etc. We magically wrap up one loose end. More smut scenes. Brief plot moving forward. Smut scenes. The epic showdown. I think there was a smut scene after that and probably in the epilogue which I skipped completely.

Honestly, I was so bored with this book that I skim read because some part of me still wanted to know what happened after investing time into part one.

Sirena Song is a queen. Madison has the biggest heart and the biggest mouth and it makes her just the best character. And the Kings... Good lord, the King pack is everything. This book for me was more about Avery and seeing how Alex could make things up to him and become the mates they were always fated to be. I really loved seeing their new dynamic build and grow. It was also fantastic seeing characters from other parts of the Knotty Pine universe. It was an epic conclusion to the first part and I hope we will see Madison and The Kings again throughout the series.

I read this as an eARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is part of a series, but it has a summery in the beginning of the book that helps it be read as a standalone which I did. This was a really fun read and I loved how all the characters interacted with one another. This was the second omegaverse novel that I have read and it only deepened my love for the genre. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys the omegaverse trope. This also has a lot of spice if that is something you enjoy as well.

This is part 2 of Maddison and her kings duet!! This was an absolute beautiful way to wrap up their HEA. The character growth was phenomenal, I loved watching Avery and Alex finally coming together and growing as mates. I was so happy that the two packs came together to take down their enemy was everything I was hoping for. I am so happy Maddison finally let her kings love her the way she was meant to be loved and cared for. As always the 🌶 is this book was amazing. I can’t to see what else Sirena has in store for us next!

This was a return to Knotty Pines for the closing chapter of Madison and the Kings.

I’ve enjoyed the other books in this series, but this one fell a little flat for me. The writing was solid, but the plot was a little chaotic, with a lot of different threads pulled, that never really got woven back together in a satisfactory way.

As far as spice goes, this is one of the rare times that I felt character development/plot was ignored too often for sex scenes instead.

This is definitely not a bad book - just not one that I would read again.

This was 90% smut. It was fine, but it got repetitive. They go on vacation to a ski resort called Carnal Ridge. No one comments on the name. Was it unintentional? It really feels like there should be a joke or something about the name.

I read book 1 months ago, when book 2 wasn’t out yet. As a result, I did have a bit of trouble picking the alphas apart. A couple of them have samey personalities and it really shows in this book.

I got a bit bored. The plot was sort of interesting, so I think it would have been better if this had been more plot heavy and less smut.

I seriously can’t get enough of Madison and her pack. I love the fact that they don’t try and coddle her and let her fight her own battles with them by her side. The banter between all of them is so fun and there is so much heat in this book. It’s a fun ride to the conclusion of this story while the pack takes on Lancaster for all his wrongdoings.
10/10 just like everything else Sirena has written.

Egh...

Got to admit... I feel like most of the beefy parts of this story could have been added to the 3rd book and called it a day. There was a bunch of fluff in this one to take up the space needed to make the part 2 of Tame Me. I get it.. There are a bunch of people who can't let go of the characters and will celebrate the second book.. Me not so much. Did I adore Madison and her pack..absolutely. Did I need two books to get all the information..no. This is a 3.5 for me.

Tame Me Part 2 by Sirena Song is the fourth in the Knotty Pines Series, and the finale to Madison's Duet. This picks up right where the previous book left us. I loved seeing Madison work through her issues, loved seeing her pack work through theirs and get it all together. Loved it. Always looking for more in the Knotty Pines world.

Such a wonderful conclusion! Madison is such a sweet and feisty character! I love how much she loves her mates and wants them all happy. Her guys are incredible! I do not have a favorite, I can not choose! This was such a wonderful low angst story with amazing characters and I loved seeing some of the others. So many swoony moments, a little drama and a whole lot of steam!

I am speechless. I don’t know how to depict the feeling of this book into words. I have never read such a plot driven book before. I loved the storyline so much. I think the support Madison gets from her mates was heartwarming. I really hope we get to see more of Madison and her kings 🤞.

so good

The Kings story definitely was sweeter than I had imagined! And it is easily the spiciest of the Knotty Pines series so far! I’m hooked on this group and how their pack continues to grow. The playful aspect of their relationships truly helped to win me over! I adore them all and I’m sad their story has come to an end.

this is the conclusion of madison's story with her pack. we really got the story and the character building in the first book, so this was the fun and the wrap up!

there was tons of sexy moments, but also equally as many sweet ones. madison's still as sassy as ever and her pack still adores her just the way she is!

Great conclusion the Jackson Pack’s story!

This book is in 🔥! It starts out burning and stays that way throughout. There is the plot at concludes the pack taking out LanCo, but honestly it’s secondary to the heat. 3.5 rounding up to 3. I love Sirena’s writing, it is so good. Vincent’s story is powerful.

Madison and her guys are so good together! They continue to grow in their relationships, despite the negative things going on in their lives. Their love strengthens, and they find a way to take down their enemy, so they can live happily ever after. Lots of steam and spice. Loved it!

I could have done without most of part two. I like that we get a conclusion, but there's way too many smut scenes for me. It felt like the author was padding out the word count with it. Other than that, excellent story.

Madison and her pack are goals. This extra spicy omegaverse story was hard to wait for when part 1 ended and it was worth it. The final scene was obscenely good.

Oh man! Getting to finish Madison’s story was epic. The spice level of this book is off the charts but more than that their relationship and their love is what makes this book.

3.5 -4⭐️ it was good but I feel like it could’ve been one longer book. And we are teased with a scene that never happens, which is always disappointing.

While I’m glad I finished Madison’s story, the book got repetitive about half way thru. Too many similar and unnecessary scenes which felt like filler and made it difficult to finish.

I'm so bummed by this one, I really enjoyed the character and relationship development in the first one, but this one just felt like smutty fluff that didn't require a whole other book
