A good overview of the basis of harmony and melody. I find this part of music study to be so tedious and dry but I at least did get some good info in this about melody shapes and piano comping voicing styles. Tho not a light or enjoyable subject matter for me I found the text to be written in a manner that made it not so bad to digest.
