Dan Wilcox is a writer and producer, known for M*A*S*H (1972), FM (1989) and Eisenhower & Lutz (1988). He is married to Leslie Easterbrook. Wilcox wrote for Sesame Street for the first five seasons, from 1969 to 1973. His work on the show includes the lyrics to the Joe Raposo song "Everybody Sleeps", and the Jeff Moss song "The Snufflelullaby".

In addition to writing for the show, Wilcox also authored several Sesame Street storybooks:

This book is absolutely hilarious. A winner every time, especially as a read-aloud!
