A slow life of integrating in the Beastly Wilds, cooking together with Kon and arranging a marriage with Techi continue. As in previous volumes there is a lot of attention on cooking, this time mostly on sausages, canning and "ninja pills". The rest is spend on slowly expanding the MCs group of friends amongst the beastfolk. It is a wholesome, entertaining story, even if the cooking does get a bit tiresome (although since the recipes and instructions are in italic and can be ignored). One disappointment is that little time is spend on Techi, even though she is his fiancé, and the other is a bit of cringe near the end in regards to "magic" trees. It is short though, so easily ignorable by me. So, a good addition to the series and an enjoyable read.
