A part of the Flashpoint story arc.

Aquaman is pissed and has sunk Western Europe. While this being the first issue details are scarce as to what exactly happened the gist is- Aquaman killed Wonder Woman's mother and Wonder Woman killed Mera, Arthur's Queen. The reasons? Don't know yet. Anyways- this first issue has Aquaman trying to develop a more powerful geo-weapon to try to destroy England, which has been elevated and turned into a fortress by Wonder Woman.

I am interested in this story so far, especially since the whole Wonder Woman/Aquaman clash and how it started is one of the major backdrops for the entire Flashpoint world setting. Look forwards to finding out more. Good story, good art make for a 3 star rating.

I always said I hated Flashpoint purely due to Evil Diana and Aquaman and Mera dying so fast so I never gave anything Flashpoint (outside of the animated film) a chance but I read this mini set of Aquaman and my god it's good! I'm definitely reading the entirety of Flashpoint after these!
