This book provides students in both film and gender/women’s studies with a clear introduction to the field of feminist film theory and criticism.
Pretty good introduction to the feminist film studies. If you have already read some important texts before then it can get reductive sometimes, but you cannot critize an introductory book to be introductory. I really appreaciated the film analysis parts which nicely put the theory in practice.
