Collection of newspaper columns from the Reagan-era. It is listed as a humor book, but I didn't find much humor.

This is a collection of Carroll's 100 (alleged) best feature columns from his first decade ('83-'92) at the SF Chronicle. A cat lover, gardener and father, Carroll's perspective isn't for everyone, but most of these hit the mark for me. Disarmingly funny and disarmingly touching. Keeper: "Cold Hands, Warm Heart," p. 77.
